The rest of this article will focus on Toge Inumaki and his fate in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. Toge is a popular and beloved character in the series that had an important secondary role in the main anime but an important one in the prequel movie. His fate is of interest to all fans, so we will reveal what happened to him in this article. This article will contain some spoilers from the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, so be careful how you approach it.

Toge Inumaki is alive and well, albeit without an arm

Toge Inumaki is a second-year student whose Jujutsu powers are connected to words. Due to the lineage of the Inumaki clan, he was born with different markings around his mouth. His technique allows him to infuse the words he pronounces with malevolent energy.

The subject who hears them will thus be forced to act following the command given (for example, “sleep,” “explode,” “don’t move”). However, the effectiveness of the technique depends on the level of the sorcerer who uses it and also on the level of the target who suffers from it.

In addition to the greater complexity and severity of the desired command, the technique itself requires and uses up a lot of Cursed Energy, but there is another catch, namely, that the sorcerer himself can suffer by using this technique, leading to a sore throat, coughing up blood, or losing his voice.

Then, as a Curse unexpectedly materializes in their rearview, they realize that the Veil has not been removed. Toge pushes Yūta away as the spirit strikes, effortlessly crushing the flail’s arm. Toge, though, feels pain and starts to cough.

Although Yūta rescues and transports him to safety, he forgets to take his throat medication. After a little recuperation, Toge is ready to battle the Curse again, but Yūta chooses to go. Yūta manages to overcome the spirit and deliver the throat medication to Toge. Toge utilizes his Incantation to exorcise the Curse after taking the medication. Toge and Yūta return to the exorcism training center after finishing the task.
