He took part in the Shibuya Incident and lost an arm in Sukuna’s attack, but he is alive and well, as far as it is known.
The rest of this article will focus on Toge Inumaki and his fate in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. Toge is a popular and beloved character in the series that had an important secondary role in the main anime but an important one in the prequel movie. His fate is of interest to all fans, so we will reveal what happened to him in this article. This article will contain some spoilers from the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, so be careful how you approach it.
Toge Inumaki is alive and well, albeit without an arm
Toge Inumaki is a second-year student whose Jujutsu powers are connected to words. Due to the lineage of the Inumaki clan, he was born with different markings around his mouth. His technique allows him to infuse the words he pronounces with malevolent energy.
The subject who hears them will thus be forced to act following the command given (for example, “sleep,” “explode,” “don’t move”). However, the effectiveness of the technique depends on the level of the sorcerer who uses it and also on the level of the target who suffers from it.
In addition to the greater complexity and severity of the desired command, the technique itself requires and uses up a lot of Cursed Energy, but there is another catch, namely, that the sorcerer himself can suffer by using this technique, leading to a sore throat, coughing up blood, or losing his voice.
Because of this ability, he has a very reserved and silent personality and is used to communicating only with ingredients used to prepare rice balls.
He plays a significant part in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, as Toge plans to fight Yūta after noticing that he is cursed when Yūta is first brought to the class. After fending them off, Satoru Gojō informs the class about Yūta’s predicament and introduces Yūta to each pupil. After that, Toga and Panda work together on a practical exercise. A few months later, Satoru appears as Toge is observing as Maki and Yūta work out. The latter then gives Toge and Yūta a mission.
Kiyotaka Ijichi then directs them to the Hapina Gallery. Kiyotaka gives them the mission’s specifics when they arrive, but Toge leaves to get some throat medicine. When Toge and Yūta enter the exhibition, they encounter many Curses that she can easily exorcise.
Then, as a Curse unexpectedly materializes in their rearview, they realize that the Veil has not been removed. Toge pushes Yūta away as the spirit strikes, effortlessly crushing the flail’s arm. Toge, though, feels pain and starts to cough.
Although Yūta rescues and transports him to safety, he forgets to take his throat medication. After a little recuperation, Toge is ready to battle the Curse again, but Yūta chooses to go. Yūta manages to overcome the spirit and deliver the throat medication to Toge. Toge utilizes his Incantation to exorcise the Curse after taking the medication. Toge and Yūta return to the exorcism training center after finishing the task.
Toge and Panda are in Shinjuku on December 24 to combat Suguru’s soldiers. They are abruptly sent to high school using Satoru’s abilities after he informs them that Suguru is there in the building. When they first come, Toge and Panda confront Suguru, who easily defeats them. Then Yūta appears and saves them.
Yūta defeats Suguru, and Toge, accompanied by Panda and Maki, goes to see how Yūta is doing. Then, when Toge witnesses Rika’s curse being lifted, Satoru shows everyone that Yūta is actually his distant relative. A few days later, Toge, Panda, and Maki are waiting for Yūta and Satoru.
In the main anime, he was introduced to Itadori and played a major role as one of Tokyo’s contestants during the Kyoto Goodwill Event Arc. He was initially grouped with Nobara and Panda and was later given Mechamaru’s phone to call Kasumi Miwa and put her to sleep. He later encountered Hanami and fought him but could not defeat him; he only managed to save himself and Megumi, while Hanami attacked Noritoshi Kamo.
They were saved by the combined efforts of Noritoshi and Momo Nishimiya; he was later seen playing baseball as part of the event.
Later, when in the school, Maki and Panda practice while Toge sits and watches them. Panda sits down and asks the two if they know what happened with the seconds, which Maki confirms. Maki refuses to let them pass them. She gets up and suddenly throws herself to attack Panda.
Toge arrives in Shibuya to help Yuji by tending to the altered humans as the latter enters Shibuya Station. He is next seen by a mob of people who are later killed after Sukuna activates his Domain Expansion. It is later revealed that Toge lost his left arm in Sukuna’s attack, but he is alive, and that is what we can confirm.
