Key Character Allegedly Spotted Taking a Break During Filming of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’

The upcoming MCU show, ‘Daredevil: Born Again,’ is generating a lot of buzz. It marks the full integration of Daredevil into the MCU and serves as a soft reboot for the character. While much of the storyline remains under wraps, we do know that Murdock will be starting a new law firm and will encounter Wilson Fisk, who is running for mayor of New York.
The show has faced its share of challenges during development, including a total rework despite filming more than half of the episodes. Fans were particularly disappointed by the initial decision to exclude Foggy and Karen from the series. Originally, both characters were rumored to meet unfortunate fates between Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’ and ‘Born Again,’ but subsequent reworking of the show brought them back into the fold.
Following the release of ‘Echo,’ most of the shows from Netflix’s Defenders series were confirmed to be part of the official storyline to some degree. So, it’s not unexpected that nearly all the actors confirmed for the reboot are reprising their former roles, including Bernthal as the Punisher.
Reportedly, Jon was recently seen taking a break on the set of ‘Daredevil: Born Again,’ as per Discussing Film.
This isn’t the first time The Punisher’s involvement in the show has been confirmed. When filming resumed in February, a video from the set showed Punisher in action, possibly taking down White Tiger.
More recently, Bernthal hinted at his return to the role on his private Instagram account. He shared a photo of a book created for Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’ shows titled “One Batch, Two Batch,” which connects to Punisher’s daughter and his memorable phrase “One batch, two batch, penny and a dime.”
