“Terminator is one of these rare IPs that crosses the generational boundaries and becomes a universal phenomenon for the ages. We are trying to create an experience that embraces both the depth of modern sci-fi storytelling and the fast-paced gameplay of contemporary RTS. All this while staying true to our roots of complex strategy gaming.” — Marco Minoli, Chief Marketing Officer at Slitherine Software.

The movie Terminator: Dark Fate was released in 2019. It is the sixth movie of the franchise, the sequel to the legendary James Cameron’s movie Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Directed by Tim Miller, Dark Fate was supposed to start a new Terminator trilogy, but unfortunately, the movie flopped on the box office, grossing only $261 million against the estimated budget of $196 million. The movie failed, let’s hope the game can do better.

Terminator: Dark Fate starred Linda Hamilton, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta. You can check the movie’s official synopsis below:

“In Mexico City, a newly modified liquid Terminator — the Rev-9 model — arrives from the future to kill a young factory worker named Dani Ramos. Also sent back in time is Grace, a hybrid cyborg human who must protect Ramos from the seemingly indestructible robotic assassin. But the two women soon find some much-needed help from a pair of unexpected allies — seasoned warrior Sarah Connor and the T-800 Terminator.”
