The Roblox games platform was officially launched on 16th September, 2016. Since then, a lot has happened. Roblox introduced Robux, the in-game currency, introduced a Builders Club, and added tens of millions of games to the platform.
To get to the 40 million-plus games hosted on the platform today, Roblox started somewhere. In this guide, we’re going to list and describe 15 of the oldest Roblox games ever created. Some are still playable while others are long archived.
Unlike the current crop of games, most of the earlier games were developed by the Roblox team. Here’s our list from the 15th game, ranked down to the very first game.

2. Classic Place
Date Created: March 10, 2006
By Roblox co-founder David Baszucki, this was the entry-game that showed you how Roblox works. For most players at the time, this would be your opening game. It was the only playable game at the time of the company launch and continued to be the introductory game for a couple of years after.

What Is the Oldest Roblox Game That You Can Still Play?
The oldest Roblox game that you can still play in 2021 is undoubtedly Amanda’s Experience Gravity. It still has a wide following and has enjoyed over 14 million visits since its creation in November 2006.
The aim of the game is to jump off the baseplate. If your jump is strong enough, you can revolve around planets. However, if you rotate around the sun while pointing at a different planet, you will plummet into the sun and be sent back to the baseplate.
One of the main reasons Experience Gravity became so popular and retains that popularity is its reward system. There are numerous awards to be won for playing more and spending more time on each game.
