Strongest Gods of Destruction in Dragon Ball Z/Super (Ranked)

God of Destruction is the title given to beings of exceptional power, capable of destroying life or planets in universes, unlike the Gods of Creation who create life, in order to maintain the balance of their universes. There are twelve gods of destruction in the Dragon Ball multiverse, one for each universe. Currently, all the gods of destruction have been seen. These gods take no particular position: they have been seen as both calm and capricious, as well as scheming and plotting. In this article, we are going to rank all the 12 Gods of Destruction based on their powers and abilities.
12. Iwan (Universe 1)
Iwan is a bushy being with pink skin. He has small round eyes with black pupils. He is dressed in a white t-shirt, sky blue trousers with a turquoise belt and his shoes are brown. Like the other Gods of Destruction, Iwan has golden jewelry such as bracelets on his wrists and rings on his shoes. Like all the Gods of Destruction, the Angels, and the Kaiō Shin, Iwan was present during the exhibition match between Team Universe 7 and Team Universe 9.
The fact that the inhabitants of his universe are among the four higher ones, Iwan and his universe are exempt from the Tournament of Power. Before the start of the tournament, Iwan, Liquiir, Giin, and Arak arrive before the fighters to discover the arena. Iwan, Liquiir, and Arak test her in a jaw-dropping fight. This match allows us to test the solidity of the arena and also allows us to see these three Gods of Destruction at work.
The fact that their universes did not participate in the tournament caused them to be sidelined. After an exceptional match that caused the destruction of a large part of the reputedly unbreakable arena, Liquiir asks if Zeno enjoyed the fight but the latter had fallen asleep before the start. The High Priest finally asks the three Gods of Destruction to repair the damage they have caused. Iwan, Liquiir and Arak, surprised by this request, then set to work.
11. Arak (Universe 5)
He attempts to expand the potential of his universe with the minimum amount of destruction, in contrast to other gods of destruction such as Beerus, who instead indulges in or destroys planets for petty reasons. Furthermore, while some of the other gods appear to be lazy, Arak is shown to be a disciplined being, meditating regularly and continuing to train as a God of Destruction.
He also seems to value life in general as he too was visibly disturbed by the erasure of Universes 9 and 10. When the Grand Minister finished building the Survival Place, the four gods from the universes with the highest level of humans arrived. Seeing the platform, Ogma says that it is a rather simple platform and wonders if it is strong enough to withstand the fight, to which the High Minister replies that it is made of Kacchi Kacchin, a stronger material than the Kacchin of Universe 7.
To prove it, the High Minister asks the Gods of Destruction to test the arena, to which Liquiir, Iwan, and Arak agree. The three gods begin to fight and destroy the platform. When they finish fighting, the platform is so destroyed that the High Minister asks them to fix it.
10. Liquiir (Universe 8)
Liquiir is an anthropomorphic fox. He has yellow eyes with black pupils. Most of its fur is golden yellow, and some of its fur is white. His hands are brown. He is dressed in a purple belt, crimson pants, and his shoes are brown.
Like the other Gods of Destruction, Liquiir is endowed with yellow jewels; such as rings, necklaces, and bracelets. Liquiir’s design may be based on Miles “Tails” Prower from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise or Kitsune from Japanese mythology such as Kyubi from the Naruto manga. Also note that he has three tails in the anime, while in his original design he only has two.
9. Rumsshi (Universe 10)
He likes other people to fawn over him due to his status as God of Destruction. Despite this, he is lazy on the charge that he doesn’t like destroying planets because he finds it a toothache. He considers Son Goku a disrespectful person seeing his attitude before the King of All, which was unforgivable for him.
Regarding his relationship with Gowas, he believes that the Kaio-shin thinks too much with his brain and that he should think more with his muscles, so he went to the trouble of gathering ten bodybuilding warriors that Gowas doesn’t trust, thinking that he failed by using his head too much, laughing self-centeredly, as he himself considered it to be the most suitable team.
8. Giin (Universe 12)
When it comes to destroying, he does the job mercilessly and without discrimination. He is very sure of his universe, becoming even proud, as I could see at the moment when he is exempt from participating in the Tournament of Power or when he argues with Iwen, God of Destruction of Universe 1, in which of both universes he was. the best. When Universe 9 is destroyed at the hands of the Zen’o, he can be seen slightly dismayed.
7. Heles (Universe 2)
Heles has dark skin, her eyes are green, and her hair is long and black and ends in golden jewels. She wears blue eyeshadow and lipstick. Under his right eye, Heles has a mole. She is wearing a black hat with golden edges. It also has white and orange diamond patterns. Her chest is covered with a piece of golden armor, she wears a white skirt open in the center, her belt is green and her shoes are brown. Its design seems based on Isis, an Egyptian goddess. Heles is extremely aesthetically inclined, and has a hard time with anything ugly.
6. Mule (Universe 3)
Mule’s actual appearance is that of a very small being with a purple-pink skin tone and two horns on his head, green pants, and a tail. Mule under the robot suit appearance resembles that of a Mutant Machine. His entire body is light green, he is quite tall and his arms have lighter intersections than the rest of them. In his abdomen, he has a metal plate as well as in his head where it is located. He wears a green God of Destruction outfit. The lens on his head flashes red.
5. Quitela (Universe 4)
He is a god with the appearance of a yellow mouse, so he is quite short, but his abdomen is somewhat bulky. He wears the God of Destruction outfit with green colors and a dark green headband. He has the same symbol on his robe as Geene from Universe 12.
He feels some animosity towards Beerus, as well as being very tricky, demonstrating this by sending spies to other universes in order to gather information dishonestly, saying that as long as the King of All doesn’t find out, nothing will happen to him. Quitela makes weird noises when laughing, a reference to the sound mice make.
4. Sidra (Universe 9)
Fora a God of Destruction, he is weak, indecisive and irresponsible, not being able to destroy things, due to his personality. Due to this attitude, Rou noted that perhaps Frieza may be more fit to hold the position of God of Destruction than him. Despite this, he was shown destroying a city hours before the Tournament of Power.
Unlike other gods, he does not normally get angry with the participants of his team who lose for trivial reasons (with the exception of Roselle). In turn, he was seen looking worried at the impending destruction of his universe, but maintaining his sanity, unlike Rou or Team Universe 9 who screamed in agony before and during his destruction.
In the manga, a more focused Sidra is shown in his position as God of Destruction, where he destroyed a planet because its inhabitants couldn’t rebuild it and its existence was unnecessary. However, it is seen that he did not like that decision, but he had to do it since that was his job, rechecking his calculations to make sure he had not made a mistake.
Being a God of Destruction he is one of the most powerful beings in his own universe, only being surpassed by his angel, Mojito. The Destruction Energy created by himself and later given to an assassin caused True Gold Frieza to have some difficulty controlling it, but he ended up doing so; it should be noted that this was only a small fraction of his power.
3. Champa (Universe 6)
Unlike Beerus, Champa has a more ordinary, friendly, and careless attitude. Champa, like his brother, is very easy to make angry, but Champa proves to be more so to such a degree that even Whis himself confirms it, he seems to be like him but with more disadvantages, since his love for food and sleeping is much more than Beerus for these things.
He is headstrong, arrogant, and most of all a sore loser, as he didn’t want to lose against Beerus and even bent the rules. He proves to be cold and evil after killing Guarana and his soldiers out of necessity unlike his job of destroying him.
The others do not interest him too much since he always treats his angel Vados badly and is ignorant at the same time, because he does not see that she wants to help him stop being fat, and also proves to be so by believing that it would be easy to beat Universe 7 for seeing that Goku was slow to catch the egg that he threw at him, ignoring that he had a heavy uniform.
Being the God of Destruction of Universe 6, his power is completely from another dimension. He was able to maintain a very even fight with his twin brother Beerus, although it was interrupted because it would cause the destruction of Universe 6 and Universe 7.
2. Belmod (Universe 11)
He has a mind that does not allow evil in his universe, causing him not to forgive any evil act or person. As a former member of the organization, he is proud that his universe has the Pride Troopers.
Like many other Gods of Destruction, Belmod has a certain contempt for Goku for his way of acting so disrespectful towards beings and gods as important as the King of All, and like Top, he is impressed by the fact that he has the ability to transform and be at the level of a god. Belmod has a certain contempt for Beerus. Despite showing some concern at the loss of most of his warriors in the Tournament of Power, he is somewhat calm and confident that even though they only have three warriors in the arena, quality matters more than quantity (referring to the power of his two strongest warriors, Top and Jiren).
Belmod’s moment of greatest tension was when he saw that Goku could be a threat to Jiren, where he looks worried and nervous. As God of Destruction, he presents himself as one of the most powerful and imposing individuals in his universe, second only to his angel and teacher, Marcarita. In the manga it is proven that his blows have an effect on Sidra, but that one of Beerus’ attacks could have easily finished him off, showing that he is no match for Beerus in the realm of resisting his attacks.
1. Beerus (Universe 7)
Beerus’ power surpasses that of all the main Dragon Ball villains, such as Frieza, Cell, or Majin Buu. Shonen Jump also said that he is without a doubt the strongest villain in Dragon Ball Z history. He usually uses his power to destroy planets, and is strong enough to destroy a galaxy and even the entire universe.
Beerus’ overwhelming power surpasses even Super Saiyan 3 Goku with a single finger and he easily defeated Gotenks and Gohan in Mystic State. Against Vegeta, in Super Saiyan 2, he states that he hasn’t used even 1% of his power in a long time. Goku in Super Saiyan God mode was able to stand up to him temporarily, but it is later revealed that Beerus was only using part of his power, despite which he managed to win without taking much damage and ending up just a little tired.
His power surpasses even Vegetto and Gogeta, as Goku states that he would lose against him, even fused with Vegeta. According to Akira Toriyama, in terms of power Goku’s Super Saiyan God level is 6, Beerus’s is 10 and Whis’ is 15, indicating that Whis is more powerful than Beerus.
According to Weekly Shonen Jump #20, Goku in Super Saiyan Blue in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of ‘F’ has “overwhelming power the world has never seen before”, hinting that he is at least stronger than the part of the power used by Beerus in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. Whis also mentions in the movie that Goku and Vegeta were strong enough in Super Saiyan Blue to stand up to Beerus if they fought together. Beerus undoubtedly tops our list of Gods.
