Top 20 Strongest Saiyans in Dragon Ball Z/Super (Ranked)

Share:

The Saiyans are one of the strongest fictional races of warriors in the Dragon Ball series. They inhabited Planet Vegeta until its destruction at the hands of Frieza, the emperor of space. Most of the Saiyans were prepared exclusively for battles and their best feature was the resistance shown on several occasions. The Saiyans also exist in Universe 6 and live on the planet Sadala, which was also the home planet of the Saiyans in Universe 7 until it was destroyed by conflict.

Toriyama has introduced a variety of Saiyans over the years and in this article, we have decided to bring you a list in which we are going to ranked the 20 strongest Saiyans in the franchise.

20. Future Goku

His life is exactly the same as that of his present counterpart until the arrival of Freeza and his father on Earth. He used Teleportation to be able to get there in time to face them, whom he easily defeated. At this time, Trunks did not notify the Z Fighters of the appearance of the androids, because he had not been born and Goku would not receive the medicine from him.

Shortly after he would fall ill with a heart virus, which despite his strength he could not overcome, dying. All the Z Fighters, including Vegeta, gathered at his house. Finally, the androids (Android Number 17 of the Alternate Future and Android Number 18 of the Alternate Future) would appear and kill all the Z Fighters without problems, except Future Trunks who thanks to Bulma of the Alternate Future was able to travel in time.

Goku was unable to be revived due to Shenlong’s inability to revive people who have died of natural causes. This is added to the fact that Shenron cannot bring someone back to life who has already been resurrected by him before.

19. Turles

Who is Turles in Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might? (& Why Does He Look Like Goku?)

Despite being a low-class Saiyan, Turles‘ fighting level is higher than other Saiyans of the same class. He is able to effortlessly outmatch Piccolo (whose power was 18,000 units according to Turles’ tracker) even without eating the Fruit of the Divine Tree.

According to a booklet for the movie, Turles has a fighting level of 19,000 without having eaten the Fruit of the Divine Tree, although he was able to dodge Goku’s attacks, which at the time were increasing in power (starting from 30,000 and increasing, according to the Tracker’s reading) and was forced back to seek the fruit that would grant him strength.

After eating the fruit, its power and speed increase sharply, surpassing Goku’s Kaio-ken x10. It is not known for sure how much his power increased: it was probably more than ten times as Goku outclassed him before he ate the fruit and was then outclassed by Turles even though he used Kaio-ken x10. He returns to eat another Fruit of the Divine Tree later, but his power is not put to the test, as he was no match for the Genki-dama that Goku armed with the energy of the same fruits.

18. Raditz

In the series, before coming to Earth, his ki or fighting power was 1,200 without using his full strength. Raditz’s maximum power level is 1,500 according to a double issue of Weekly Shonen Jump in 1989, Daizenshuu 7, and the video games Dragon Ball Z: Kyōshū! Saiyan and Dragon Ball Z: Super Saiya Densetsu. When he transforms into a giant ape, his power is multiplied x10, being 15,000.

17. Nappa

Being an elite rank Saiyan, Nappa’s power was incredible and enough to destroy entire cities with only two fingers and easily defeat Son Goku’s friends. His potential is estimated at 4,000 but he managed to resist Son Goku towards the end of the fight when the latter was at 8,000 according to the manga. It should nevertheless be remembered that this figure was indicated in the Daizenshu and not in the manga. This figure does indeed seem somewhat troubling due to his fight against Goku.

16. Bardock

Bardock is one of the strongest low-class warriors in existence. In Bardock: The Father of Goku, when Bardock faces Freeza and his army, his power was around 10,000, since it is said that he can rival that of King Vegeta. He is very powerful even defeating the Dodoria Elite, as he was outnumbered.

According to Dragon Ball Carddass, Bardock’s fighting level is around 9,000, while Frieza’s soldiers were around 10,000. When he transforms into a Super Saiyan, his power increases considerably, easily defeating Chilled. According to Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai-Another Road, Bardock’s fighting level depends on what reading he has on his tracker to determine his strategy to have an efficient fight.

15. Goten

Goten is much stronger than Goku in his childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood. As a child he faced many powerful villains due to his power. A few months before the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament, he went to train with his mother in the forest, where he learned to be faster and more agile during combat.

He surprisingly managed to transform into a Super Saiyan at a much younger age than his brother and his father. Goten’s strength was such that, when he was fighting Gohan, he was able to put the latter in slight trouble. Comparing his power to Trunks’, Goten is slightly weaker, as Piccolo refers to when they will perform the fusion.

This is due in part to the fact that Trunks is a year older than Goten and naturally exhibited a bit more strength as a result. However, when he and Trunks enter the Hall of Spirit and Time, Goten trains harder since his mother had been killed by Super Buu, matching his friend’s power.

During the years after Little Buu’s defeat, Goten spent most of his time training with his father, even after the tournament at Goten’s request, since he was going to train with Uub. In Dragon Ball GT he would have become more powerful, destroying various enemies such as; Yakon, Android 19, Pui Pui and many other enemies who escaped from Hell thanks to Super Android 17, these villains were defeated with great effort by the Z Fighters in Dragon Ball Z.

14. Trunks

Trunks can be seen in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT. He is the only Sayajin who does not have dark hair. He and Son Goten are close friends who support each other at all times. Trunks is the firstborn son of Bulma and Vegeta. In the manga, you get to know him as a 17-year-old boy who traveled 20 years from the future to the present in a time machine to warn Son Goku of the danger that 2 cyborgs will pose in three years.

Even as a child, Trunks easily transforms into a Super Saiyan. Vegeta can hardly believe that his son can transform so easily since he himself had to train for years to reach this level. He is half Saiyan and half human and is Bra’s older brother. He was born a year before the cyborgs arrived. He can fuse with Son Goten to form Gotenks. Unlike his father, Vegeta, he and Son Goten did not have to train hard to reach the Super Saiyan stage, as they inherited it through their fathers’ genes.

13. Cabba

In his base state, he is strong enough to evenly fight Vegeta, both having a similar fighting style and ki control. After being threatened by Vegeta about destroying his planet, he becomes a Super Saiyan and his power grows exponentially, even being able to fend off blows from Vegeta as a Super Saiyan. During the fight between the two Saiyans, Piccolo says that he was superior to Vegeta. Although the latter was testing the extent of his power. Finally Cabba is defeated in a single blow by Vegeta as Super Saiyan Blue.

The two Saiyan women of Universe 6 have proven to be superior to him. Caulifla manages to become Super Saiyan in a short time, and her protégé Kale reaches a Super Saiyan level higher than both of them in the few hours before the Tournament of Power. In his regular form in the manga, Cabba is powerful enough to fight on equal terms against Vegeta, who states that Vegeta may be as strong as him without transforming. However, he is less talented than Caulifla, a dangerous outlaw from the planet Sadala, and vastly weaker than Kale.

12. Yamoshi

Being a Super Saiyan, his power was immense, and like the rest of the people who obtained the form, his power was multiplied fifty times. However, in his battle against the evil Saiyans, he was defeated, leading to his death.

11. Future Trunks

Alternate Future Trunks was trained by Gohan as a child, becoming a gifted fighter, a skilled swordsman, and a Super Saiyan; attributes that will help him considerably in the battle against the androids after traveling back in time to the present in order to save his own future. When traveling through time, his fighting techniques are also influenced by Vegeta after having trained with him in the Hall of Spirit and Time, being able to perform attacks characteristic of his father.

As Kaioshin’s apprentice, he can use healing to heal other beings’ wounds, limiting his energy to once per day if used on a Super Saiyan Blue. Trunks owns a sword as his signature weapon. In conjunction with his fighting skills, Trunks uses the iai or iaidō (sword art).

Iaidō is the way of being able to attack or defend while drawing, thus beginning the confrontation with the weapon still in the scabbard and drawing with the appropriate speed to attack or counterattack the opponent without giving him time to react. In order to be able to react correctly to any unexpected situation, Trunks always tries to have his sword close to him.

Coming from an alternate reality where Androids 17 and 18 killed the Z Fighters and created an apocalyptic hell on Earth, Trunks underwent intense training under Future Gohan’s tutelage. During his first few days of training, Trunks was unable to defeat Gohan. After transforming into Super Saiyan for the first time and before heading to warn the Z Fighters about the androids, Bulma comments that he is now as strong as Gohan had been, but he was still no match for the combined strength of the androids. androids.

10. Caulifla

Rensou makes it known that despite looking like a mere “thug”, her potential is even greater than his. Cabba mentions something similar when training her, noting that she is very gifted at it, showing it when she reaches Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 with extreme ease. Although Caulifla has great power, it is not until being instructed by Goku not to use the Third Grade Super Saiyan because it is not useful in battle that she decides to imitate him to follow in his footsteps and finally seek to achieve Super Saiyan 2 again.

Caulifla manages to achieve Super Saiyan 2, which leaves Goku impressed, indicating that with his talent he could even achieve the transformation of Super Saiyan 3 during the Tournament of Force, but that he must first master both Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2. Before meeting Cabba, Caulifla declares that no Saiyan had defeated her before.

Many soldiers belonging to the Sadala Defense Forces avoided entering her territory for fear of meeting her. Discussing how the Saiyans of Universe 7 had trouble learning the Super Saiyan transformation from Cabba, Caulifla proudly declares that she is more talented than all of them.

Caulifla as a Super Saiyan was able to destroy a large portion of the Tournament of Power platform and seriously injure Frieza. Freeza would state that she is much stronger than Son Goku when she first transformed into Namek. However, she is no match for Golden Frieza or Kale in her base state.

9. Goku Black

At first, it could already be seen that Goku Black could defeat Future Trunks in Super Saiyan. In his last encounter before Trunks fled, Trunks was able to go Super Saiyan 2 but this was not enough more than to elude him briefly.

In the anime, he was able to fight at the same level as the current Goku in Super Saiyan 2 and it is estimated by Future Trunks that Goku Black’s power is comparable to that of Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan 3 and he even says that it is most likely that overcomes, all this just being in his base state.

This statement is later supplemented by Trunks stating that Black was more powerful for some reason when he was in the future.

8. Kale

In her Out of Control state, she was able to overpower Cabba in Super Saiyan after a short exchange of blows, forcing Cabba to return to his base state without being able to see the following attacks. Caulifla in Super Saiyan 2 was shown to be able to deflect an attack from her at that point in the series.

Later in the Tournament of Power, in a fit of rage she was able to easily defeat Super Saiyan 2 Son Goku and was even tough enough to come out unscathed from his Super Saiyan Blue Kamehameha and later subdue him with its uncomplicated strength. Still, a Power Slam from Jiren that hit Kale was enough to knock her back to base state unconscious.

Kale in Super Saiyan 2 is much more powerful than before, thus managing to dominate a tired Super Saiyan 2 Son Goku together with a team attack formation with Caulifla Super Saiyan 2, forcing him to use Super Saiyan God, which despite Since both of them were able to fight him for a moment, he is still on a scale totally out of Kale’s reach in this state.

7. Giblet

In his first appearance, he displayed enormous power, managing to destroy an entire city, slaughtering civilians, and besting warriors such as Dodoria, Raditz, and Zarbon, and Shallot’s power was no match for his. At that moment, Giblet mentions that his power is paltry compared to that of Goku (from Dragon Ball Super Year 780) transformed into Super Saiyan, who joined forces with Shallot to defeat him. Giblet is more powerful than his twin brother as a Super Saiyan 3, not even having the need to transform to face him. However, he can’t do anything against Son Goku as a Super Saiyan God.

6. Shallot

At the beginning of the story, Shallot was able to defeat a few Saibaimen with the help of Trunks from the Alternate Future, but it is mentioned in his fight against Raditz that he is weaker than him (however, it should be noted that this version of Raditz is stronger than him). powerful than the one seen in the Saiyan Arc of the manga and anime).

After training hard with Nappa he was able to fight Raditz with a new increase in power, but without surpassing the one who had trained him. It is mentioned by Broly in his fight against Shallot that Shallot is quite weak compared to the Super Saiyan duo of Son Goku and Trunks and him. Being a primitive Saiyan, Shallot’s ki is different from contemporary Saiyans.

5. Gohan

In his teens, during the events of the 25th edition of the Martial Arts Tournament, due to the lack of training in 7 years, Gohan is no longer as strong as he was in the Cell Saga, being able to overcome opponents who were not. of the Perfect Cell level, so he had a lot of difficulties against Dabra, against whom he could have lost if the match had not been interrupted.

Goku mentions that if Gohan were to get angry and use his true power he would be able to defeat Dabra, as shown when he attacked Majin Buu. As a Super Saiyan 2 (with his anger allowing him to use his true power) he was able to hold off Fat Boo for a short time until he was overpowered and nearly lost his life.

However, after training with the Z Sword, the East Kai believed that Gohan in Super Saiyan 2 would be able to defeat Boo, although Goku was not sure of this, which would be confirmed since not even Vegeta could overcome him. After the Z Sword breaks, Gohan has his potential unlocked by the Elder Kaio-Shin, being able to even exceed his limits.

Gohan is able to effortlessly defeat Super Boo and hold a battle against him as Boo with Gotenks and Piccolo absorbed, before finally being outmatched by Boo’s superior strength. Despite these incidents, Gohan is considered by this time the most powerful Z Fighter without having to fuse.

4. Cumber

In his first appearance, Cumber demonstrated amazing power thanks to his Evil Aura, laying waste to the entire Planetary Prison and overwhelming Super Saiyan Blue Goku and his allies (Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, Future Super Saiyan Raging Trunks, and Coola Xeno). While in the manga, when Cumber approaches Son Goku and Vegeta, they are forced to immediately transform into Super Saiyan Blue from the immense power that emanates.

Cumber’s power, being unleashed in his usual Evil Saiyan state, is such that he is able to fist bump a post-Universal Survival Arc Blue Super Saiyan Vegerot, and then block and land a heavy punch on the fusion, who was using the Kaio-ken in conjunction with the Super Saiyan God, to the point of grabbing him and throwing him to the ground, forcing him to stop using the Kaio-ken for a few seconds.

In addition, his natural power is capable of embarrassing and even defeating other beings as powerful as Son Goku in Super Saiyan God, and Coola Xeno in his Ultimate Evolution.

3. Vegeta

Vegeta’s power is disproportionate compared to a classic Saiyan; his father considered him the future Super Saiyan of the legend. His power continued to grow until it reached 18,000 units, the most powerful pure Saiyan still alive. During Frieza’s saga, his power grew by coming close to death several times, successively reaching 24,000, 30,000 and finally 80,000 units.

His power continues to increase thereafter thanks to harder training than each other. He can move easily on a planet with a gravity 10 times greater than that of Earth, allowing him to surprise his opponents with his speed. He can create a ball of energy that can emit radiation equal to that of a Moon, becoming a Giant Ape.

2. Broly

From an early age, Broly already had greater potential than Vegeta. Years later, Broly joins Frieza’s Army and goes to Earth to exact revenge on his father, Paragus, and unknowingly on Frieza. Upon arrival, Broly in his base form managed to stand up to Vegeta in Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan God form.

Afterward, when Broly had become uncontrollable by his excess of rage, in his base form, he incorporated the Giant Ape’s fighting instinct and his power which was uncontrollable due to his hidden potential, which gave him spiky hair, and a greenish aura, and dominated, subsequently Vegeta in Super Saiyan God, in their second encounter.

1. Son Goku

He is an expert in martial arts, under the style of the Kame Senin School, he is known to be close to a prodigy, managing to learn techniques and levels of strength that other individuals would take time to learn, he even knew how to use skills such as reading minds without even know how to do it. Goku has been shown to use different parts of his body to help him in combat.

Son Goku is a born martial arts expert and fan, managing to read his opponents’ movements and get used to his attacks and speed. Usually, in combat, Goku reserves large amounts of strength and restrains himself to the point of apparently lowering his ki level to absurdly low points in order to conserve energy, however, he also demonstrated the ability to unleash his full power just in the nick of time. second in which he launches a physical attack.

As a Saiyan, Goku is able to use the Saiyan Power, which allows him to surpass his strength whenever he takes large amounts of damage or fatal wounds. Goku being an alien also has enhanced senses of smell, taste, and sight, which further enhances his combat senses.
