“Knives Out” is a 2019 mystery film by Rian Johnson, starring Daniel Craig as detective Benoit Blanc, who investigates the death of author Harlan Thrombey. Despite police ruling the death a suicide, Blanc suspects foul play and unravels a complex web of clues. Premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival, the film grossed $312.9 million worldwide, received critical acclaim, and earned several award nominations, leading to two sequels, one released in 2022 and one bound for release sometime in 2025.
