The Last Kingdom s a British historical fiction television series based on a series of novels called The Saxon Stories written by Bernard Cornwell. The story of the Last Kingdom is set in the middle of the conflict involving the Norsemen and Saxons. The series aired between 2015 and 2022 lasting 5 seasons.
