‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is the most talked-about upcoming movie. This is because it’s Deadpool’s first appearance in the MCU and because there’s a lot of excitement about possibly seeing mutants from Fox’s X-Men series and other overlooked characters. Fans are now eager for any project that might include X-Men, as these characters are some of the most loved in comic book history. With the movie set to bring in the most mutants the MCU has seen yet, we thought we’d check out the mutants that have already been confirmed.

1. Ms. Marvel (‘Ms. Marvel’)

In the comics, Kamala Khan was originally not a mutant but an Inhuman. However, when she first appeared in the MCU, it was revealed that her powers are due to genetic mutations. After that, she was also changed to a mutant in the comic books.

2. El Aguila & Mr. Immortal (‘She-Hulk: Attorney At Law’)

El Aguila and Mr. Immortal popped up in ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.’ Even though people didn’t really like the show much, it still matters to the MCU story because they quietly brought in two more mutants. In the comic books, El Aguila has electricity powers and Mr. Immortal can’t die. It’s worth mentioning that Mr. Immortal isn’t exactly a mutant; he’s called Homo Supreme, which is like a level-up from mutants. But since he considers himself a mutant, we included him in this list.

3. Namor (‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’)

Namor is mainly a Talokanil and his special abilities mostly come from his aquatic traits. But he’s also got some extra stuff going on. He was born with weird features like ankle wings, and pointy ears, and he lives longer than regular folks. In the comics, he’s considered a mutant too.

4. Professor X (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness)

The Professor X we saw in the movie is a different version, but he’s still a mutant. His appearance in the movie was more about pleasing the fans, but it’s cool to see such a powerful mutant in the MCU universe. It would’ve been great to see more of him in future projects, but sadly, this version was killed by the Scarlet Witch.

5. Beast (‘The Marvels’)

Hank McCoy, also known as Beast, is the newest mutant introduced in the MCU, making his debut in the mid-credits scenes of ‘The Marvels’. Since he appeared alongside Monica Rambeau and her mother from this universe, Binary, it’s likely we’ll see more of him in upcoming projects.
