  • Her task was to capture Andy, which she did, but he managed to escape and the two of them faced each other again after 50 years.

Gina Chamber was/is an important member of The Union

Gina Chamber is an exceptionally interesting character in Undead Unluck, and we can only say that she completely deserves an article of her own, which ultimately motivated us to write this article. We will tell you her story and why she is relevant to Undead Unluck. She is a Negator and a former member of The Union, who also functions as a minor antagonist early on in the series.

Gina Chamber is Russian and was born and raised in the town of Irkutsk. She was living with her grandmother, and due to her specific skills, Gina had trouble making friends. This worried her grandmother a bit, but Gina would usually say to her that she did not need to worry as long as the two of them were together.

When she was young, Gina liked to paint, and when her grandmother died in 1972, she finished a painting of Lake Baikal and put it on her grandmother’s grave. Soon after, she began to despair as she realized that things would have to change from that moment on, which was ironic since her ability is called Unchange.

Not much later, UMA Heat attacked her hometown, and Gina was able to use her ability to fixate on the air around her, which resulted in the death of 40,000 people due to asphyxiation. However, she was devastated by what she did. She eventually joined the Union and became one of their agents. And this is how she met Andy, i.e., Undead.

This happened 50 years ago and is the focus of her story. Undead was her target, and Gina was, at one point, able to find and capture him, but she could not kill him. She felt guilty for capturing him, but he said that this would help him understand himself and his condition better. She would often visit him, and the two would talk, with Gina telling him that she often thought that she’d be better off dead, to which Andy promised her that he would make her the first on his hit list once he escaped. At that moment, Gina fell in love with him.

Andy did escape after ten years of imprisonment, and since then, Gina has spent the next 40 years looking for him until she finally finds him again in the present timeline.

She was killed by Andy during the 100th loop

In the present timeline, when Fuuko and Andy arrive at Lake Baikal, Gina is aware of their arrival. Andy goes to meet some friends, while Gina meets with Fuuko. While she is painting, Gina is approached by Fuuko, who tells her that she also likes to paint, so they end up painting together. After they finish their painting, Andy arrives, and it is then revealed that Gina had trapped Andy 50 years ago and was still looking for him.

As you might expect, a fight ensued, and Gina went on to clash with Andy, who was being supported by Fuuko’s own Unluck ability. What happened during the battle? Well, the two of them exchanged blows here and there, with Gina revealing that she was still in love with Andy, which also resulted in a couple of jealous outbursts during the fight.

In the end, Andy defeats her but is stopped from killing her by Fuuko. Gina then told him that despite her ability, she had wanted to change and that she now realized that change wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. At that moment, her anti-aging ability stopped working, and she suddenly gained an additional 50 years, which means that she was about to die soon.

She tells them to leave, now an old woman, to which Andy tells her that a couple of wrinkles won’t change her true beauty. The two of them then seemingly kiss as Gina finally dies. And while she will reappear as an astral doll later in the story, this was her end, at least as far as the 100th loop is concerned. As for the 101st loop… well… we won’t be revealing much to avoid spoiling the story for you, but let’s just say that this is not the last we’ve seen of Gina and that you can expect to see more of her in the future of the series.
