Who Is Johnny Depp Dating Now? (Or Is He Still Single)

Johnny Depp is finally a free, vindicated man, and he’s enjoying it. The actor was accused of horrific domestic violence by his ex-wife Amber Heard. After he sued her for defamation, all the charges against him were dropped, and he won the case, meaning miss Heard now has to pay him a bit over $10 million. With Amber Heard now in his past, fans wonder, who is Johnny Depp dating now?

To public knowledge, Johnny Depp is currently single and not dating anybody. After his divorce from Amber Heard, he briefly dated Polina Glen, a Russian dancer and choreographer, and rumors suggested another relationship with a British reality star, Sophie Hermann.

The rumors about Hermann were never confirmed by any of the two, though. There was also a lot of talk about Depp dating his lawyer, Camille Vasquez. And although we would all love to see it happen, it’s simply not true. Here’s all we know about Johnny Depp’s current dating status, with all the facts, rumors, and speculations.

Is Johnny Depp Dating Anybody Right Now?

Johnny Depp went through a very rocky, ugly divorce from his second wife, Amber Heard – an American actress best known for her supporting role in DC’s Aquaman and, well, being Johnny Depp’s young wife.

After their divorce, we all thought it was over with, but Heard continued to talk about Depp, portraying him as an abuser and herself as a domestic violence victim in an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post. He had to clear his name, so Depp took Heard to a defamation trial, which he had won, resulting in the actress having to pay a little more than $10 million to him.

Johnny, however, may not even take the money from miss Heard, as his lawyer, Ben Chew, suggested. It was about his reputation for Johnny, not about the money. Now that he’s out of the unrighteous public scrutiny, naturally, fans started to wonder – did Johnny move on? Who is he dating now?

Currently, Johnny Depp is not in any public relationship, and, as far as the public knows, he is single and enjoying having his life back. He has had relationships after his divorce from Amber Heard in 2017, but they didn’t last for too long.

Shortly after the divorce, Depp started dating Polina Glen, a Russian dancer/choreographer. The pair shared a very passionate relationship, but it broke when Depp took it a step further and planned on proposing Polina’s hand in marriage. Glen was too worried because of the age gap between them – that’s about 30 years – so she broke off the relationship before that next step.

After that, there were also allegations that Johnny had found love again with Sophie Hermann, a British model, fashion designer, and reality star that rose to fame after the Made in Chelsea reality show.

According to the rumors, Sophie met Johnny Depp in mid-2020 at the Corinthia Hotel in London. Johnny was playing his guitar, and Hermann allegedly wrote her phone number on a piece of paper and tucked it in between the strings. 

Now, I have to highlight once again that these are only allegations. The two have never spoken about their alleged relationship, nor were they ever photographed together, so it might all be a product of the “yellow pages.”

However, one particular rumor sparked public interest so much more than the allegations about Sophie Hermann. Many media outlets, and fans, for that matter, believed that Johnny Depp had found a new love in his brilliant lawyer, Camille Vasquez. So, is there any truth to those rumors?

Did Johnny Depp Ever Date Camille Vasquez?

As I’ve mentioned, Camille Vasquez was Johnny Depp’s lawyer (along with Benjamin Chew) during the trial with Amber Heard. Vasquez was phenomenal and completely obliterated Amber Heard and her defense team during the cross-examination of miss Heard.

She became an internet sensation, and her success in the case granted miss Vasquez a promotion to become a partner at her law firm, Brown Rudnick. 

Now, after the cross-examination and the eventual win, there were some signs of affection between Camille and Johnny. It was all platonic, though, despite the fans and the media wanting to make a spectacle out of it.

Vasquez sat down for an interview with Access Hollywood and said there was never anything more than a working relationship between them and, of course, an eventual friendship:

“I guess it comes with the territory of being a woman just doing her job. It’s disappointing that certain outlets kind of ran with it or said that my interactions with Johnny—who is a friend and I’ve known and represented for four-and-a-half years now—that my interactions in any way were inappropriate or unprofessional. That’s disappointing to hear.”

They also asked Camille about her relationship with her boyfriend, Edward Owen, who is a WeWork executive from England, and how he reacted to all the rumors about Johnny, to which Vasquez answered:

“He’s wonderful and supportive and loves me; has met Johnny. He knows that I’ve worked for Johnny for four-and-a-half years now, so there was no issue there ever. He’s just wonderful and supportive.”

So, for all those who eagerly wanted the rumors to be true – I have to disappoint you. Camille Vasquez and Johnny Depp are nothing more than a client and his lawyer that became friends over almost five years of working together. And, it seems they’ll continue to work together, as Camille revealed that they “have another potential trial coming up in July.”

Johnny Depp’s Brief Dating History

Johnny Depp has had many relationships over the course of his career. Some were only flings, while others were much more serious and long-lasting. Amber heard was his second wife, but believe it or not, his 14-year-long partner, Vanessa Paradis, was not the first.

Despite Johnny and Vanessa being together for about 14 years and having two children together, they never actually tied the knot – at least not officially. Johnny’s first wife was Lori Anne Allison, a makeup artist, and sister of his band’s bass player and singer.

Lori and Johnny married very young, when they were only 20 years old in 1983, but divorced after two years. Allison once said that Depp was her first love, but the two were simply too young and immature and grew apart as they grew older.

After Lori, Johnny had dated numerous stars and celebrities, including Sherilyn Fenn, Jennifer Grey, Winona Ryder, Naomi Campbell, and Kate Moss – the supermodel who eventually testified for Depp in the Amber Heard trial. 

However, none of them came close to Vanessa Paradis, a French singer, model, and actress. The two never officially married but spent 14 years together, from 1998-2012, and had two children, Lily-Rose Melody and John Christopher III.

Shortly after separating from Vanessa, Depp started dating Amber Heard. They tied the know in 2015 but divorced only two years later, and the rest, I guess, is history.
