30 Best Fairy-Type Pokémon (Ranked)

Types of Pokémon have changed over the years, with additional types being added to the games as the world of Pokémon expanded. Today, every known Pokémon can be classified according to a type and in this article, we are going to give you the 30 best Fairy-type Pokémon ranked from weakest to strongest, based on their base stats sheets.
Due to the fact that we are going to separate the base forms from Mega forms, which we had to do because a lot of the Mega forms were stronger than some other basic forms, this list is going to contain fewer Fairy-type Pokémon – just 30 – than there actually are, but this is purely due to the list, there aren’t really only 30 Fairy-type Pokémon in the franchise.
As of Generation VIII, there is a total of 59 Fairy-type Pokémon, which accounts for 6.57% of all Pokémon in the franchise (counting those that are Fairy-type in at least one of their forms, including Mega Evolutions and Alolan Forms), making it the third rarest type in the franchise.
List of Best Fairy-type Pokémon
30. Klefki
Generation: VI
Types: Ghost / Fairy
Evolutions: None
Klefki’s body is reminiscent of a bunch of keys floating in the air. Its face, made up of two black eyes and a keyhole-like mouth, is on a ball of silvery metal with a key-like extension on top; it also has a small decorative pearl between its eyes and a large one on the underside of its body. It usually closes its two long, thin arms in a circle, which then looks like a key ring.
They hoard keys that mean a lot to them and carry a number of them around with them. Klefki has very balanced skills and does not rely on special or physical attacks in combat. Iits specialties are status attacks that underline its mysterious nature. For example, it can prevent the opponent from using various attacks or prevent the use of items.
Overall, Klefki loves to play tricks on his counterpart with his skills, which also underlines his ability to be a rascal, and is full of surprises. It is one of the few Pokémon that have two different special attacks; one prevents Pokémon from fleeing and emphasizes its connection to keys, while the other protects the team from status attacks.
Some Klefki have a hidden ability, with which they can steal an item from an opponent. They share this ability only with the evolutionary series of Genekin and the legendary Pokémon Hoopa in its two forms. Wild Klefki live in mysterious places such as the hotel ruins in the Kalos region, and not only is its habitat unusual, it also has remarkable abilities.
For example, in the one short film, we have learned that Klefki can open gates to strange worlds with his keys. It collects these keys when someone loses them and keeps their favorite items like the apple of their eye, as the PokéDex reveals. This characteristic also explains why some people choose it to be the keeper of their safe keys.

29. Mimikyu
Generation: VII
Types: Ghost / Fairy
Evolutions: None
Very little is known about Mimikyu’s true appearance, as it is constantly hiding under a rag reminiscent of a Pikachu. Only his eyes peeked out through two slits. Mimikyu can actively influence the appearance of the sheet it is wearing. A kind of branch serves as the tail of the Pikachu disguise.
If Mimikyu has been attacked and its disguise is exposed, the “head” of the Pikachu disguise will snap off. Mimikyu leads a lonely life in dark, dilapidated places like the Abandoned Shop in Alola. This is mainly due to the fact that they are very sensitive to light and therefore have to stay in very dark places and cover themselves with a costumed sheet so that no sunlight affects their health.
However, it is actually not a solitary Pokémon, but rather sociable and peaceful, and longs for friends. Over time, this has brought him a delusional hatred of the popular Pokémon Pikachu, whose popularity it is envious of. It therefore does everything to harm Pikachu, but at the same time to assimilate to him. Through ghostly powers, it can actively influence the appearance of its costume sheet and, for example, make patterns appear that look like facial features.
It prefers Pikachu as it has envied its popularity since a large number of merchandise appeared 20 years ago. By mimicking its looks, it hopes to make friends with other people and Pokémon more easily. Its sheet is worth a lot to him, so it cries bitter tears when it tears, and mends it all night long before it pursues the culprit vengefully.
Mimikyu’s true appearance is considered utterly terrible. It is rumored in the Alola region that if people see under Mimikyu’s rag disguise, they will become infected with a mysterious disease. Allegedly, the only person who saw Mimikyu’s true appearance through a gust of wind died instantly and from an excruciating death at that. Because of this rumor and his fierce defense when someone tries to peek under their sheets, nothing is known about their true appearance.

28. Slurpuff
Generation: VI
Types: Fairy
Evolutions: Swirlix –> Slurpuff
Slurpuff is a two-legged, white Pokémon with a plump, round body. It only has very short legs and stands on two pink paws, and its little arms are little more than stumps. It has a comparatively large head, which is adorned with a striking, pink hood. There is a red decorative ball at the top. Slurpuff has red eyes and his tongue mostly hangs out of his mouth. There is a pink decorative pattern around the neck.
Slurpuff gains a lot of strength compared to its preliminary stage Swirlix, but learns only a few offensive attacks. It physically attacks opponents with different attacks, but occasionally also relies on long-range attacks. Like Swirlix, it uses its sticky fur to restrict the mobility of an opponent with cotton seeds or to increase its defenses with a cotton wool shield. It also masters other defensive attacks.
When Slurpuff takes part in battles, all Pokémon present cannot fall asleep, which is reflected in his Sugar Coating Ability, which is the special ability of his Evolution line. This could be a reference to the fact that excessive sugar consumption can cause people to become fidgety and hyperactive. A few examples also have the hidden ability Relief, which increases its speed as soon as it loses an item.
Slurpuff is known for its extremely fine sense of smell. This is several million times stronger than that of humans and allows them to recognize even the faintest smells even at great distances. This gives him knowledge of what is going on in his environment, which is hidden from others. People make use of its ability by letting it help out in pastry shops, for example.

27. Whimsicott
Generation: V
Types: Grass / Fairy
Evolutions: Cottonee –> Whimsicott
Like Cottonee, Whimsicott consists largely of a kind of white wool ball that makes up his entire body. In Whimsicott, however, the wool indicates hair. A small, graceful, brown body is visible in front of and under the hair, which is approx. 70 cm tall with the hair. The arms and legs consist of triangular shapes, but these are only faintly indicated.
The Pokémon’s head is round and about the same size as the rest of the body, including the legs. Like its predevelopment, it has amber-colored eyes that are in the middle of the head. Where the ears should have been, you can see two green, curled tendrils on Whimsicott. There is also wool on his neck.
Whimsicott is not particularly strong, but knows how to protect itself, for example with a cotton wool shield. It also masters strong status attacs that can hurt other Pokémon. It can also use different attacks to restore its energy. After creating a sunny day, it can make better use of the powerful solar beam attack. At critical times, it takes advantage of the emergency situation or attacks with a razor blade or fairy breeze.
His rascal ability ensures that Whimsicott always attacks the enemy first before it attacks. It can also bypass shields through its other ability to hover. In sunny weather, the chlorophyll ensures that it is faster.
Like its predevelopment, Whimsicott lives mainly in forests and grassy areas. It is able to manipulate its body in order to get through any kind of crack, however narrow it may be. This is used to leave tufts of wool in certain places and to annoy people and other Pokémon and play pranks on them.

26. Clefable
Generation: I
Types: Fairy
Evolutions: Cleffa –> Clefairy –> Clefable
Clefable is a medium-sized, two-legged Pokémon that is light and dark pink, and brown in color. The wings turn dark pink, the tips of the ears brown. Thus the rest of the body is colored light pink. Just like its predevelopment, the body is a bit slimmer. The face consists of two small, narrow eyes, each with half an eye ring on the right and left, as well as a small, narrow mouth.
Immediately above the face, it has a spiral-shaped extension that is modeled on a lock of hair. This extension is framed by the two long ears. Three little fingers can be seen on the ends of its two arms. The legs are short and the Fairy Pokémon has two white toenails at each end. Finally, the two wings grow on the back and the thick, spiral-shaped tail below.
Pixi also has a lot of admirers due to its looks and playfulness. In the wild, however, it is even more difficult to find than its predecessor Clefairy. Clefable can most likely still be observed in some mountains and associated caves in the Kanto and Unova regions, but also in some areas in Alola and Sinnoh. It is said that together with other similar species, they live a secluded life deep in quiet, remote mountain regions.
Furthermore, this species of Fairy hates to be seen. The reason for this is that it no longer shows a very open, but a very shy character like Clefairy. That’s why this fairy Pokémon tries to hide itself and its habitat from humans as well as possible. It immediately takes flight if it only smells a person. Even trainers who are familiar with the area rarely see it. That is why it is popularly said that if one sees two frolicking Clefable, he acquires the prospect of a long and happy marriage.
With its highly sensitive ears, Clefable can even distinguish distant noises. For example, it can hear a needle falling to the ground from 1 km away. However, these ears cannot tolerate noise or loud noises, which is why it loves silence. Clefable moves by flapping its wings lightly and using the moonlight stored in it like Clefairy.
Due to its springy gait, it can even go over water. In the moonlight, it goes for walks on lakes. When the moon is full, it is said to play on the shores of lonely lakes. In more recent studies, scientists interpret its behavior, looking so intensely at the night sky when the moon is full, as a kind of homesickness.

25. Comfey
Generation: VII
Types: Fairy
Evolutions: None
Comfey is a very small Pokémon with a green, rounded body adorned with a large, greenish-yellow headdress. It has a friendly, orange face with large, green eyes. It always carries a wreath of eight colorful flowers with it, which it sprinkles with fragrant oil from its body.
Comfey is known for its soothing scents and healing abilities. In addition to synthesis and aroma cure, with which it can heal itself, it supports companions with floral healing. Other specimens may have a floral envelope as a skill, which Comfey shares with the Flabébé evolutionary line. This ability protects allied Grass-type Pokémon from lowering their stats.
Comfey learns many Grass-type attacks, although it is not one of them. This is due to its flower wreath, the power of which it can use to attack opponents with flower swirls, leaf dance or razor leaves. It also uses its engaging, cute nature and pleasant scent for bitter kisses, lure scents and cuddles.
Comfey is never found without its wreath of flowers, which it always carries with it. It makes the wreaths from self-picked flowers, which it collects with the help of its sticky tendril. It loves to adorn itself like this and becomes unhappy and nervous without its jewelry. Nevertheless, the flower wreath Pokémon gives away the wreaths to people who it is fond of.
If it is attacked, it also hurls the flowers towards its opponents as a distraction, before it flees or defends itself. Comfey wets the wreaths of flowers with a pleasant smelling oil. The scent has a calming effect on all people and Pokémon around it and contributes to Comfey’s healing powers.
Comfey can be found in Pokémon Centers, where they support the healing of Pokémon, and the pools of the Centers in Alola are also decorated with Comfey’s flowers. Many people in Alola put the oily blossoms in their bath water, which has a calming effect.

24. Galarian Weezing
Generation: I (VIII)
Types: Poison / Fairy
Evolutions: Koffing –> (Galarian) Weezing
In the Galar region, Weezing has developed a regional form that belongs to the poison and fairy types. In the Galar form, Weezing has a grayish skin and the two heads each have high craters reminiscent of a hat, from which smoke rises like from chimneys. It is said that normal Weezing used to be very common in the Galar region.
Long ago, however, when many factories polluted the air with exhaust gases, it took on its new shape. In its Galar form, Weezing can suck in significantly more air than other species. However, it filters this and expels particularly pure, clean air from the top of its heads.
The air quality in the region has improved significantly again. The filtered out toxins condense into strong poisonous vapors that collect around Weezing’s mouths. A small breath of these clouds stuns and paralyzes enemies, making the gas Weezing’s most powerful weapon.

23. Alcremie
Generation: VIII
Types: Fairy
Evolutions: Milcery –> Alcremie
Alcremie is a small Pokémon with an almost human-like build, but made of heavy cream. A larger ball represents his lower body and a smaller one his upper body, on which the face with the big, red googly eyes sits. Large whipped cream decorates his head as a hairstyle and two decorations sit on top.
Alcremie comes in many different flavors, which also determine its color; it can be decorated with a sugared berry, a sugar flower, a sugared strawberry, a sugar heart, a sugar shamrock, a sugar ribbon or a sugar star.
Alcremie is a popular partner of pastry chefs as its body exudes sweet-smelling cream. Desserts made from it are all very tasty. The better you care for Alcremie, the more intense the taste becomes.
The Pokémon takes advantage of the fact that eating it has a calming effect and robs opponents of the will to fight by throwing them at opponents. Then it flees. The cream Pokémon is accordingly characterized by abilities such as sugar coating and fragrance coating, which refer to its fragrant and tasting body.

22. Galarian Rapidash
Generation: (VIII) I
Types: Psychic / Fairy
Evolutions: (Galarian) Ponyta –> (Galarian) Rapidash
In the Galar region, Rapidash has developed a regional form that belongs to the Psychic and the Fairy type. For generations, its ancestors had lived in the Glimwood Tangle, where they were exposed to the mysterious energies of the forest and changed as a result.
Galarian Rapidash’s body is covered with white fur. Its purple front horn is impressive in size; characteristic, however, is its particularly magnificent mane, which grows in thick strands from its head and tail to the ground. The strands are pink or mint green.
Galarian Rapidash is a brave and proud Pokémon. It can absorb the natural energies that surround it from the ground through its hooves and store it in its mane. It gives off a shimmering glitter and shines in dazzling colors when it is charged.
Its mysterious abilities are reflected in his special ability Pastel Cover, which heals fellow campaigners from poisoning. Rapidash trots gracefully through impassable forests and drives away single-ringed birds with powerful blows of his horn, e.g. by means of the psycho-blade attack.

21. Alolan Ninetales
Generation: (VII) I
Types: Ice / Fairy
Evolutions: (Alolan) Vulpix –> (Alolan) Ninetales
Ninetales who live in Alola are different from other Ninetales and have adapted to their new habitat. In this Alola form, Ninetales has snow-white fur with a bluish sheen and blue eyes, while the tails and head hair fall in white waves, reminiscent of clouds or fog. Ninetales also has piercing, bright red eyes.
In the Alola region, this Pokémon lives on top of a snow-capped mountain that is considered sacred. The people there treat it with awe, as it is viewed as a venerable messenger and even saves people in need from death by cold. It does this out of sheer self-interest, because it wants to get rid of the intruders on its mountain as soon as possible.
Inadvertently, Ninetales was worshiped as a deity for a long time, until it was found out that he was merely a regional form of the well-known Ninetales. Alolan Ninetales is generally gentle, but mercilessly persecutes those who devastate its territory. In this territory, it lives in small packs with Alolan Vulpix. Such a pack of Vulpix is always led by an Alolan Ninetales that mercilessly freezes potential predators of the Vulpix.
Alolan Ninetales can create ice crystals with its fur and uses these either to block enemy attacks or to form snowballs on the offensive, which it hurls at attackers like cannonballs. These ice projectiles are so strong that Alolan Ninetales can even use them to smash rocks and freeze opponents within seconds.

20. Grimmsnarl
Generation: VIII
Types: Dark / Fairy
Evolutions: Impidimp –> Morgrem –> Grimmsnarl
Grimmsnarl is a roughly human-sized, goblin-like or demon-like Pokémon. It has a menacing face with a large, tooth-reinforced mouth, a pointed, long nose and distinctive, pointed ears. It also has a lanky, green-skinned body that is covered in thick, dark purple fur in most places. This is a special feature, because it works like muscle fibers.
The muscle-building Pokémon wraps itself completely in its hair, which significantly increases its muscle strength. It is said to be stronger than even macho men. Grimmsnarl can also deliberately influence its hair: In a fight it loosens the hair from the body and wraps opponents as if with tentacles. It defends itself against opponents with a large number of devious attacks of the Fairy and Dark types.
It uses various attacks that are unique in its evolutionary series. An example of this wealth of tricks is an attack in which it reveals a piquant secret to the other person, whereupon their concentration is disturbed. In another special attack, it acts as if it were bowing humbly in order to then impale its perplexed opponents with its disheveled fur. In the case of the fairy attack, Broken Soul, it strikes so hard that the target loses all courage.

19. Hatterene
Generation: VIII
Types: Psychic / Fairy
Evolutions: Hatenna –>Hattrem –> Hatterene
Hatterene is a human-sized Psychic-Pokémon. At first glance, its body resembles that of a woman, but there is a camouflage behind it: Hatterene’s actual, goblin-like body is slim and small. However, powerful feelers grow out of its head, which it loops around its body and which not only make it appear significantly larger, but also give it a stately shape.
There is a reason for its mysterious, impressive appearance: it wears a large antennae like a hat on its head, with which it can sense the feelings of other living beings. It hates noise and intense emotions, which is why it keeps intruders into its territory away with its immense psychological powers and headaches or covers them with fairy attacks.
A large tentacle protrudes from the sensor of the silent Pokémon, which it uses like an arm. Anyone who dares to approach it will be torn apart with the claws of the feeler. This brought Hatterene in Galar the nickname “witch of the forest”. It also developed the unique Magic Powder attack. Any Pokémon that is hit by this powder will become a Psychic-type.

18. Gardevoir
Generation: III
Types: Fairy
Evolutions: Ralts –> Kirlia –> Gardevoir
Gardevoir is a medium-sized, humanoid Pokémon. The face, neck, chest and the outside of its veil-like structures around the abdomen and legs are white, the inside of the body parts just mentioned, the majority of its head and arms are green. The Psychic / Fairy Pokémon has a slim body and a relatively large head. The area on the head resembles a hairstyle.
All that can be seen of its face are the large eyes, which are composed of white leather skin, red irises and black, narrow pupils. Long, thin arms grow on the side of the small torso. A broad, flat, red-colored horn runs through the back and chest. The lower abdomen resembles the lower part of a long dress and the narrow legs are not always visible.
Gardevoir is characterized by powerful special powers, but a delicate, fragile body. This ensures that it cannot learn a single physical attack on a regular basis. However, the Psychic / Fairy Pokémon has powerful, mysterious powers, which it pours into strong special attacks such as psychokinesis or dream eater of the Psychic type or moon power of the Fairy type.
In addition, as is usual with other Psycho-Pokémon, it has a variety of status attacks that demonstrate its artistic abilities. One specialty is teleport, which it can use to move over long distances. The Hug Pokémon lovingly takes care of its friends, whom it can support with a variety of healing attacks such as wishful dreams, healing waves or healing offerings or shield them from enemies with a reflector.
It is said that Gardevoir can see into the future. Most specimens have the ability to capture, which copies the ability of the opponent, or synchronise, which transmits status changes such as paralysis to the opponent. Both are related to the alignment of Gardevoir and his counterpart. Some Gardevoir also have the hidden ability Telepathy, with which it recognizes the intentions of fellow combatants and can thus avoid their attacks.
Little is known about Gardevoir’s habitat, as it rarely appears as a wild Pokémon. There have been sightings of Gardevoir, who live together with Ralts and Kirlia in small family groups and travel around by teleport. Although it has feminine features, there are just as many male as female specimens. Its psychokinetic powers allow it to float and predict the future.
Gardevoir is known for risking its own life for its beloved trainer. The Hugging Pokémon reaches the peak of its powers when it senses danger for its trainer and can even distort dimensions and create black holes. It is considered an extremely brave Pokémon.

Generation: VI
Types: Fairy
Evolutions: Eevee –> Sylveon
Sylveon is a four-legged Pokémon whose body is predominantly covered with pale, cream-colored fur. Its feet, ears and tail are pink in color. Its left ear and neck are adorned with pink and cream-colored bows with antennae. These antennae are also cream and pink in color, but are dark and light blue at the ends.
It has short, slender legs and small paws with three toes visible on each foot. It eyes are blue with white pupils. When his mouth is open, two pointed teeth appear in his upper jaw. Its furry, pink tail is slightly curved in the shape of a moon.
Although it knows many attacks, it is actually one of the more peace-loving Pokémon, which suggests its bond category. By moving its ribbon-shaped antennae through the air, it can appease its opponents and induce them to end a fight prematurely. If these feelers wrap around the arm of his trainer, Sylveon would like to go for a walk.
In contrast to its predevelopment Eevee, Sylveon learns offensive fairy attacks, such as fairy breeze and moon violence. But with its Hidden Ability Fairy Layer, even normal attacks become Fairy-type, which makes this Pokémon even stronger. Sylveon is rarely found in the wild and is more commonly found in urban areas under the care of humans.

Types: Water / Fairy
Evolutions: Popplio –> Brionne –> Primarina
Primarina is an elegant Pokémon with a slim, seal-like body. Its rear half consists of a dark blue tail, which ends in large, white caudal fins. The front half is white. Primarina rests on wide, white forefins. Its narrow, elongated head has a pink nose. Its light blue, long hair, which is held together by pearl-like or bubble-like structures, is striking.
However, if Primarina uses the foam serenade attack, these pearls disappear and you can see its hair in all its glory. Primarina’s body is also covered with various pink decorative elements such as starfish and thorns.
Primarina live in large colonies with their conspecifics who linger on sea beaches. The songs they sing appear in very many variations, which affect the movements of the water bubbles in different ways. It is said that each colony works out its own songs. The glittering reflections that the moonlight causes on the bubbles, as well as the Primarina that direct their colonies, are an almost magical sight that is very popular with the residents of Alola.
It is also known as the “prima donna”. Its forays also look like performances in which it kills its prey with graceful dance and song. Primarina relies heavily on its voice. If it injures itself in the mouth or dries it out and strains its voice, it becomes defenseless and can be exposed to great threats. Primarina trainers therefore deal intensively with the care of their vocal cords.

Generation: VI
Types: Fairy
Evolutions: Flabébé –> Floette –> Florges
Florges is a medium-sized Plant-type Pokémon with a slim, elegant shape. It has grown together with the flower which it bore as a Floette; so its lower half of the body consists of a green plant stem, which is decorated by two large leaves which grow out of it. Florges has slender, white arms and a white head from which green leaves grow like eyelashes.
The opulent bouquet of colorful flowers that frames Florges’ face is particularly striking. The flowers come in different colors and can be yellow, orange, red, blue or white. Florges like to stay in beautiful, colorful flower gardens, which represent their territory. In the past, lords of the castle invited the garden Pokémon to take care of and beautify the flower gardens of their property. Florges loves to bathe in the energies released by blooming flowers.
It draws its strength from these and can live to be several hundred years old. That is why Florges loves plants and contributes to their care and protection. For example, it can use the Flora Protection attack, which it shares only with Sunflora, to increase the defense of all Grass Pokémon. The Flower Cover ability, which was the special ability of his evolution series, also supports allied Plant Pokémon from reduced stats.
His second, hidden ability Beneficiary, also a former special ability in his evolution series, is also used to support others by giving an item worn by Florges to a friendly Pokémon. Florges has powerful fairy powers, which it can hurl at its opponents with the force of the moon, for example.
The Garden Pokémon lives in harmony with the flowers that surround its body. Thus, although it is not of the plant type, it is able to harness its powers and bundle them into powerful and elegant attacks like vortices of flowers, which are known for their overwhelming beauty. It can also grab objects with tendrils.

12. Tapu Fini
Generation: VII
Types: Water / Fairy
Evolutions: None
Tapu Fini has a slim, fragile-looking humanoid body. This is black in color and ends in a fishtail-like fin. The fingers of the slender hands are connected with flippers. Long, light blue hair falls down from Tapu Fini’s head, it is also decorated with light blue borders around the eyes and a light blue fin on the lower part of the body.
The purple-colored bowl, painted with war paints, which protects his body, is striking. Its dorsal fin resembles a fish when it is closed. Tapu Fini is considered to be the patron saint of the island of Poni, which it watches over. It is said that it can produce healing water that purifies the mind and body. 3. Xerneas
Generation: VI
Types: Fairy
Evolutions: None
Xerneas is a Legendary Pokémon that is a central part of the mythology of Kalos. There it is described as the Pokémon that gives life. This Pokémon seems to control a tremendous amount of Energy. It transfers life energy to other Pokémon as well as plants and fills them with vitality. It is said that it can give eternal life as soon as its antlers light up in seven colors.
Xerneas is also able to breathe new life back into dried-up plants. It appears especially after periods of drought or natural disasters and restores the natural order. Xerneas’ work is therefore strongly linked to nature: it can communicate not only through direct telepathy but also through indirect telepathy via plants and trees with other living beings over long distances.
When the Legendary Pokémon of Kalos runs out of power, it supposedly retires in a secret location. Legend has it that at the end of his thousand-year lifespan, Xerneas released the remaining energy in a last unselfish act and gave it to his surroundings. Based on old records, this happened the last time over 800 years ago.
Xerneas spread his brilliant antlers over Kalos to flood the land with his light. At that moment, humans and Pokémon everywhere felt an energy flowing through their bodies. It was also at that time that a deep forest with Xerneas at its center appeared out of nowhere. After Xerneas released its energy, it turned, hidden deep in the forest, into something resembling the shape of a dried-up tree.
In this way, it continually gathers energy in order to awaken when it is needed. However, since it only shows up very rarely and you only notice it through the surge of energy during its death, it is usually completely unclear when Xerneas is awake or when it is resting in a secret location deep in a self-made, misty forest.
The counterpart to Xerneas is Yveltal, the only Pokémon that brings death with it. Yveltal and Xerneas both embody the cycle of nature (life and death) and act according to their task. In addition, both are exactly the same strength and cancel each other out. A fight between the two would not end without external access.
For example, Xerneas can restore dead flowers or petrified living beings that came into this situation through the power of Yveltal to their original state. Yveltal, on the other hand, is able to act the other way around.
Only with his special attack geocontrol does Xerneas deviate from his credo and borrow the energy of all life forms in his environment for a short time instead of giving energy to them. However, when the balance between the two is thrown out of joint, Zygarde appears, using its ability to restore the balance of power in the Kalos ecosystem.
A fight between these two Pokémon or a drastic weakening of one of the two opponents is viewed by him as a disturbance of the circulation and it intervenes.

The two long pink crystals from the center behind his head are smaller. Furthermore, a large gold crescent surrounds his upper body. In its Mega form, it has the magic mirror ability, which automatically redirects all status attacks targeting Diancie back to the user.
