Netflix regularly takes down movies and TV shows because their agreements with content owners expire. Warner Bros. Pictures’ DC movies started appearing on Netflix in phases from December 2023. This move is part of Warner Bros. Discovery’s plan to license more content to other platforms like Netflix.

In 2023, HBO titles became available on Netflix for the first time, with more expected throughout the year. However, these agreements were short-term, lasting only 3-5 months. By the end of March, most DC superhero movies on Netflix will be taken down. Here’s the list of movies leaving the platform:

  1. ‘Man of Steel’ (2013)
  2. ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ (2016)
  3. ‘Suicide Squad’ (2016)
  4. ‘Wonder Woman’ (2017)
  5. ‘Justice League’ (2017)
  6. ‘Shazam!’ (2018)
  7. ‘Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)’ (2020)
  8. ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ (2020)
  9. ‘The Suicide Squad’ (2021)
  10. ‘Black Adam’ (2022)
  11. ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’ (2023)
  12. ‘Spy Kids: All the Time in the World’ (2011)

Please remember that although these movies are being removed from US libraries, they may still be accessible in other regions. ‘Spy Kids’ will no longer be available on the streaming platform after March 29th, while the other DCEU movies will be removed on Sunday, March 31st, 2024. You can still watch the franchise on Max, which is recognized as the primary hub for DC content.
