Leaked ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Set Footage Hints at the Death of a Major Character: “Why would Marvel allow press and fans to film this scene?”

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is one of the most highly anticipated upcoming projects in the MCU. While Matt Murdock has already made several appearances, the new standalone series is set to bring back many characters from Netflix’s ‘Defenders’ Saga.

However, ‘Born Again’ has faced a somewhat turbulent production. Originally envisioned as a soft reboot of the Netflix series, the show’s approach is noticeably different. Several notable characters have either been omitted entirely or recast.

After executives reviewed the initial footage, they decided to reboot the reboot, requiring additional scenes to be filmed and taking the show in a completely new direction. ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ was reimagined as a continuation of the Netflix series, bringing back much of the original cast.

The initial plans for ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ did not include Karen Page or Foggy Nelson, and Charlie Cox openly discussed this in interviews. Some insider reports suggested that these characters would be killed off-screen between the events of Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’ and ‘Born Again,’ which sparked outrage among fans. As a result, when the show was eventually “scrapped” and restarted, both characters were brought back.

With a significant amount of new material to film, production resumed earlier this year, and fans spotted Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson on set. However, some insiders have again claimed that one of these characters is still slated to die, even in this new version of the show.

Numerous set leaks occurred during filming, especially since some scenes were shot outdoors. Thanks to these leaks, we’ve seen the new Daredevil suit, the return of the Punisher and Bullseye, and a scene that appears to depict Foggy’s death.

Warling recently shared a new set leak on X, showing Bullseye armed with various weapons. In the footage, he seems to have enraged Daredevil, and the next scene cuts to Karen standing over Foggy, who is lying on the ground, apparently either unconscious or dead.

While this seems to confirm that Foggy may die, it raises questions about whether this footage will actually be used in the show. It seems surprising that Marvel allowed such a significant moment to be leaked or that it hasn’t already been taken down.
