PS Plus Essential Games July 2025 Lineup Brings Action, Fights, and Climbing Adventures
Sony has just revealed the PlayStation Plus Essential games for July 2025, and there are three new titles coming your way. If you’re a subscriber, you can start playing them from Tuesday, July 1st. The games included this month are Diablo 4, The King of Fighters XV, and Jusant. These games will be available on PS5, and some are also playable on PS4.
If you’ve got an active PS Plus Essential subscription, you can download and keep playing these games as long as you stay subscribed. Unlike some of the higher tiers, you don’t lose access to them as long as your membership stays active.
Probably the biggest name on the list is Diablo 4. It’s coming to both PS5 and PS4. This is the latest game from Blizzard, and it throws you deep into a dark and dangerous world. The game mixes fast-paced action with deep character customization.
Since it first came out, the game has had a lot of updates and even a full expansion, so there’s more content than ever to dive into.
Next up is The King of Fighters XV, which is a fighting game that sticks close to the classic style of the series. This one’s also available on both PS5 and PS4. It might not be the most revolutionary fighter out there, but it’s got solid gameplay and could be a good way to pass the time this summer if you’re into that kind of thing. If you like mastering combos and going head-to-head with friends, it might be worth checking out.
The third game in the lineup is Jusant, but this one is only on PS5. It’s a very different type of game, there’s no fighting or monsters here. Instead, it’s all about climbing. You control a character as they slowly make their way up a huge, mysterious tower. It’s got a cool, artsy look, and the gameplay focuses on climbing in a way that feels both challenging and fun.
So whether you’re into dark fantasy, competitive fighting, or calm and thoughtful exploration, July’s PS Plus Essential games have something for you.
