Sydney Sweeney’s lingerie label has rarely gone quiet since it arrived. The ‘Euphoria’ and ‘The Housemaid’ star launched SYRN, pronounced “siren,” in January, and the brand had been in development since mid-2024. It’s backed by investment firm Coatue Management, with support from Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos.

The debut made plenty of noise. The first collection, Seductress, sold out within hours following a headline-grabbing stunt at the Hollywood Sign, and the brand rolled out its remaining capsules, Romantic, Playful and Comfy, as a series of separate drops. Inclusivity has been central to its pitch, with the debut range spanning 44 sizes from 30B to 42DDD.

Now Sweeney is back in front of the camera for the brand’s biggest seasonal push yet. A new high-resolution image shared by JumpTrailers shows the actress in a deep burgundy knit sweater set, holding a fluffy white dog dressed in a plaid outfit. The scene is framed by floral wallpaper and soft window light, giving it a warm, homey feel.

The photo is part of SYRN’s holiday campaign, which Sweeney announced on Instagram on October 21. The SYRN Holiday Shop opens on October 27 at 8 a.m. PT, with 4 holiday-inspired collections launching, beginning with the Comfy drop.

Fans can sign up for early access before the pieces officially hit the online store. The cozy image fits neatly into the campaign’s newly unveiled “Hibernation Nation” chapter, which the brand describes as the cozy part of its Holiday Special.

The broader campaign leans heavily on festive nostalgia. It recasts classic Christmas movie moments in lingerie and loungewear, with Sweeney channeling characters like Cindy Lou Who and Sally from ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’, along with a ‘White Christmas’ moment.

The playful approach relies on shared memories rather than a straightforward product shoot. By borrowing familiar scenes, the campaign gives followers something to share and discuss, which is what the brand does best.

Other images take a more glamorous turn. One standout shows Sweeney in a red set from the upcoming Romantic collection, complete with a bow detail and a sheer veil that adds a retro bridal twist.

As with most of SYRN’s marketing, the new campaign hasn’t pleased everyone. Some reports say Sweeney’s Cindy Lou Who look landed her in another advertising controversy. Critics have also described the brand’s marketing as highly sexualized and argued that it remains centered on Sweeney herself despite its emphasis on being a space for all women.

There have been business questions too. In August, a report claimed the company had struggled to maintain the momentum of its initial launch, though Sweeney has continued to promote SYRN as it moves through its first year.

That’s what makes this holiday push so important. SYRN’s launch strategy has relied on sequential drops, each giving the press and audiences a fresh reason to pay attention, and the Holiday Shop follows the same playbook with 4 themed collections rolling out together.

With a cozy aesthetic, festive references, and Sweeney front and center, the brand is clearly hoping to win over holiday shoppers. Whether the campaign translates into strong sales will become clearer once the shop opens on October 27.

Which part of Sydney Sweeney’s SYRN holiday campaign catches your eye the most?
