A24’s ‘You Can See Everything’ Popcorn Bucket Is Completely See-Through, and That’s the Joke
Popcorn buckets have become one of Hollywood’s favorite marketing tools, with studios competing to create the most eye-catching collectible. A24, never a studio to do things the conventional way, has now entered the game with a bucket built around the theme of its surprise documentary hit, ‘You Can See Everything’.
The film, directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, follows Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes in the weeks before she began an 11-year prison sentence for defrauding investors. Made in secret over more than 3 years, it has become one of the year’s most talked-about releases.
The new collectible leans right into the film’s title. A24 has unveiled the official ‘You Can See Everything’ popcorn bucket, a completely clear container that, true to its name, lets you see everything inside.
The minimalist design features a transparent, slightly tapered box with “You Can See Everything” printed across the front and the A24 logo underneath. The studio is promoting it with a fitting tagline: “Radical transparency.”
It’s a clever joke that fits the documentary’s themes. A film about deception, honesty, and how people present themselves now comes with a popcorn bucket that hides absolutely nothing.

The bucket isn’t sold in theaters. It’s available exclusively through A24 as a bonus with a ticket purchase for the film. According to A24’s shop, fans need to buy a ticket after 1 p.m. ET on October 28, then log in using the same email address they used to purchase it to add the bucket to their cart. It’s limited to 1 per order while supplies last.
The bucket is listed as free with an eligible ticket and is expected to ship by November 20. A24’s AAA24 members also get a discount on shop items. The timing makes sense, given how strongly the film has performed. ‘You Can See Everything’ opened on October 16 with about $15 million from just 855 screens, selling out more than 2,000 showings.
That was the biggest opening for a film on fewer than 1,000 screens since ‘Borat’, and the largest debut for a non-music documentary since ‘Fahrenheit 9/11’. The film has since earned more than $45 million domestically, a huge return for a project reportedly made for under $7 million.

Critics have embraced it as well, giving it a 99% score on Rotten Tomatoes and a 99 on Metacritic. Audiences have responded too, with more than 70% of opening-weekend viewers under 35.
The documentary has also become a late-night favorite. Jimmy Fallon and Jamie Lee Curtis recently spoofed it on ‘The Tonight Show’, with Fallon playing Fielder and Curtis taking on the role of Holmes.
Kate McKinnon did her own Holmes impression on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ about a month earlier. A popcorn bucket is the latest sign that the film has crossed over from arthouse curiosity to mainstream event.

A24 has built a reputation for playful, offbeat marketing, and this bucket fits right in. Instead of an elaborate sculpted design, the studio went with a simple idea that ties directly to the film’s title.
For fans, it’s a fun souvenir that doubles as an inside joke. For A24, it’s another way to keep its biggest documentary success in the conversation as it continues to draw crowds in theaters.
