Denis Villeneuve’s desert saga is almost done. With ‘Dune: Part Three’ just weeks from theaters, Warner Bros. has turned up the promotion for the final chapter of the trilogy, and the film’s star-studded cast has been at the center of almost every piece of it.

Fans have had plenty to dig into lately. The third and final trailer arrived on October 27, and Warner Bros. Korea recently shared a promo with Korean subtitles that features Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh and Robert Pattinson on a warmly lit amber set.

Now another clip is making the rounds online. A new video shared by Film Updates on X shows Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh and Anya Taylor-Joy posing together against a desert backdrop with a glowing sun on the horizon.

In the vertical, selfie-style video, Zendaya stands in front in a black hooded top, looking straight into the camera. Pugh, with slicked-back blonde hair, leans in behind her, while Taylor-Joy, with platinum hair and a white outfit, smiles over her shoulder. Momoa looms at the back in dark sunglasses.

The simple, sunlit setup clearly echoes the sands of Arrakis. Fans responded quickly, with the post collecting thousands of likes, reposts, and bookmarks in just a few hours. Each of the 4 stars has a major part in the new chapter. Zendaya returns as Chani, the Fremen warrior who is now Paul’s former romantic partner, while Pugh comes back as Irulan, Paul’s wife and the daughter of former Emperor Shaddam IV.

Taylor-Joy officially joins the saga as Alia Atreides, Paul’s sister. Momoa returns in a new form, playing Hayt, a ghola created in the image of his original character, Duncan Idaho. They are joined by Chalamet as Paul Atreides, now the Padishah Emperor, and Pattinson as Scytale, a Tleilaxu Face Dancer plotting to take Paul down.

The film adapts Frank Herbert’s novel ‘Dune Messiah’ and follows ‘Dune: Part Two’ as the end of Legendary’s trilogy. Villeneuve directed the film and co-wrote the screenplay with Brian K. Vaughan. Filming began in July 2025 at Origo Film Studios in Budapest, with more shooting in the Liwa Oasis desert in Abu Dhabi, before wrapping in November.

The film was mostly shot on 65mm, with some sequences captured on 15/70mm IMAX film and the desert scenes shot with IMAX-certified digital cameras. Linus Sandgren returns as cinematographer, Joe Walker as editor and Hans Zimmer as composer. Demand for premium screenings has been huge. Select IMAX 70mm tickets for 19 locations went on sale in April and sold out within minutes.

‘Dune: Part Three’ opens in North America on December 18, with the international rollout starting December 16. South Korea will be the first country in the world to see the film, a move reportedly tied to the strong performance of ‘Dune: Part Two’ there.

Dune Insider screenings will start even earlier, with IMAX 70mm shows on December 14, digital IMAX on December 15, and other premium large formats on December 17. The film also gets an exclusive IMAX run through the holidays.

It will not have the box office to itself, though. Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ opens the same day, setting up one of the biggest head-to-head showdowns of the year. With the trailer out and clips like this lighting up social media, the campaign for Villeneuve’s finale is in full swing.

The cast’s chemistry, even in a short promotional video, has fans more excited than ever to return to Arrakis. For a trilogy known for its scale, it’s fitting that a simple shot of 4 of its stars against a desert sun can still get people talking.

Which Dune: Part Three star are you most excited to see in the final chapter?
