Satoru Gojo is among the strongest, if not the strongest characters in the Jujutsu Kaisen franchise. But, how good is he when compared to Son Goku, one of the strongest anime characters ever? Who would win in a fight between Gojo and Goku?

Despite Gojo’s skills, Son Goku is much stronger than him. Goku is one of the most powerful characters in the Dragon Ball universe and he is an alien with almost godly powers. Gojo simply cannot compare to Goku, who’s beaten opponents that are much more skilled than Gojo during his adventures in the world of Dragon Ball.

Now that you have the short version of the answer, the rest of the article is going to be divided into three sections, with the first two introducing the characters, their powers and their abilities. In the end, we’re going to give our final verdict and explanation on why Son Goku would win against Satoru Gojo.

Satoru Gojo and His Powers

Satoru Gojo is the teacher of the first-year class of the Tokyo school of magic, which consists of the three main characters from the series, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki. Despite being considered the strongest sorcerer, he is portrayed as a fool who has little respect for his superiors.

Jujutsu

Satoru is said to be one of the most powerful exorcists in the series, wielding immense amounts of cursed energy and very powerful techniques. As a student, Satoru and Suguru were considered “the strongest”, capable of defeating high-grade demons.

Fighting Skills and Physical Powers

Satoru, in addition to his overwhelming cursed energy level, is also an incredibly fearsome martial arts master, with extraordinary physical prowess to back up his abilities.

He has the great physical strength to fight powerful curses flawlessly, delivering hard blows and even being able to launch them a great distance with a single kick, such as during his fight against Jogo.

Abilities

Furthermore, he possesses great speed, managing to follow the movements of an S-Class demon effortlessly and throwing punches and kicks almost imperceptibly.

It has been shown that he can move faster than the eye can perceive, and in his greatest feat of speed, he traveled a great distance in a fight and was back on the battlefield before his opponent realized that he was even gone.

Satoru has proven to be quite tactical and able to figure out what his opponent is planning with enough information.

Son Goku and His Powers

Son GokÅ« is a fictional character, the protagonist of the manga and anime series Dragon Ball. It was created by Akira Toriyama in 1984. At the beginning of the story, Goku appears as a child who practices martial arts and possesses a monkey’s tail and superhuman strength, but later it is revealed that he is an alien of the fictional Saiyan race, and that his original name is Kakarrot.

General Abilities

Initially, in combat, he uses the magical Nyoi stick, a gift from his grandfather; in order to fly, he mainly uses the golden cloud, a magical cloud given to him by Master Roshi. However, after learning the Buoyancy Technique, which he uses for the first time at the end of the fight with Piccolo at the 23rd Tenkaichi Tournament, Goku uses the cloud less frequently.

Even the extendable stick will soon become almost useless in clashes and will never be used from the moment Goku becomes an adult.

Techniques

The Kamehameha Wave is one of Goku’s main abilities and, over time, he has learned a varied number of techniques. While training with King Kaioh, the Saiyan has learned Kaioh Ken during the period in which Goku passes into the afterlife after the clash with Raditz, and used it for the first time against Nappa.

King Kaioh also taught him another technique, the Sphere of spiritual energy. With this technique, Goku is able to request a part of their energy from all living beings, to form with it a sphere of immense dimensions to be thrown at the opponent.

In addition to these, on the occasion of the fight against Zamasu, he will be trained by Roshi to learn the technique of the wave of the demonic embankment.

By training with some alien races, he learned some of their techniques; for example, from the Yardratians, he learns how to teleport, and from the Metamorians, he learns the dance of Metamor with the which will merge with Vegeta giving life to Gogeta.

Moreover, on several occasions he has shown that he can learn a technique by copying it after having seen it a few times by his companions and his opponents; this is how he learned the Technique of the residual images, the Shot of the sun, the circular blade of the soul, and the Shot of the eight hands.

Goku’s favorite technique is Kamehameha; Goku manages to repeat it after observing it once performed by Master Roshi. Over the course of history Goku also manages to make changes to the technique, making it much more effective in fights; for example, he manages to bend the wave’s path to catch Piccolo from behind, or he manages to emit it from his feet to use it as propulsion during the fight between him and Piccolo in the Tenkaichi Tournament.

Furthermore, as the years go by and Goku’s strength increases, at the same time the effect of Kamehameha also increases, to the point that various developments of the technique will appear in the story, from the Super Kamehameha, to the divine Kamehameha.

Satoru Gojo Vs. Son Goku: Who Wins?

Now, what you have to understand here is how different Gojo and Goku are. The only set of powers they actually share are their fighting skills, and this is where Goku is far superior.

Gojo is an exorcist, basically a wizard, while Goku is closer to the traditional notion of a superhero or even a god, depends on how you perceive him. This is why we couldn’t really compare them by category, as they have only one category in common.

Now that we have cleared this, we can compare them, although the outcome is quite straightforward in our opinion. Namely, Son Goku is on a completely different level than Gojo. Gojo cannot fight with him on even terms, as Goku’s martial arts skills are far superior to Gojo’s.

On the other hand, Gojo’s magical powers aren’t that strong to seriously harm Goku, as the guy actually survived a fight with Beerus, one of the Gods of Destruction and one of the strongest beings in existence.

This wouldn’t even be a fair fight, to be honest, as Goku is absolutely the winner in this scenario.
