Working careers are quite important in everyday life. Some careers can be exhausting, but people mostly want to find something that fulfills them and complements their lifestyle well. Maxis also incorporated this feature in the Sims games, and players could become whatever they wanted. Of course, while working, Sims are earning money and leveling up their skill in certain areas, and Maxis added one feature to the game that intrigued the players – mentoring. This article will explain how to mentor Fitness in Sims 4.

  • Article Breakdown:
  • Quite easily, actually. For your Sim to mentor another, your Sim needs to master, in this case, the Fitness skill. More specifically, your Sim needs to be level 10 in Fitness skills or an Athletic Career as a personal trainer.
  • When you are, for example, in the gym, you’ll need to befriend the Sim you want to mentor.
  • While the other Sim is exercising, you need to click on the Sim and find an option, “Mentor,” for your athletic Sim to train another.

Fitness makes your Sims more athletic

Before we start explaining details around mentoring in Sims 4, we need to determine what classifies as a Fitness Skill, what careers your Sims can have if they are fond of sports, and finally, discuss the ways you can level up Fitness skills.

Since the first Sims games, Fitness always had the same definition – Fitness is a skill in The Sims games and a way for Sims to become more athletic. It also indicates that Sim will be in great shape and will probably use this particular skill in his career.

To build a Fitness skill, one needs to use treadmills, weight machines, punching bags, and all other gym equipment. There’s an option for Sims to jog around the neighborhood, which can be triggered when they are outside the house.

Athletic trait connects other aspirations and lifestyles to Sims

Of course, even though the Sim is ready to work out, especially if it has an Athletic trait, you attach to Sim during the customization. Of course, Sims gets tired after a long workout, and Pumped moodlet quickly changes to Uncomfortable after some time. The moodlet points at Sims’ soreness from working out and the fact they are tired.

Other moodlets after the long workout are Fatigued, Pulled a Muscle, and possibly Sore Back if your Sims sleeps on a cheap bed. Hygiene decay is highly possible as well, and the mood called Filthy is possible to appear as well.

The Athlete career was present in the Sims games from its very beginnings. Still, in Sims 4, Maxis added another possible career path, and now players could choose to become either a Bodybuilder or a Professional Athlete career. The more you impress your employers, the more Simoleons and promotions on work, your Sim, will gain.
