‘Black Clover’: How Did Asta Get His Scars?

We all know that Asta is the protagonist of Black Clover. Asta is a truly well-written character but aside from being very powerful, Asta is also unique to the world of Black Clover. Now, fans of the series know that there are numerous things about Asta that we could discuss in this article, from his powers and abilities to his relationships with some of the characters. But, this article is going to focus on his physical appearance. Fans of Black Clover know that Asta has several scars on his body, and because they do not have the same origin, their stories are quite interesting. Asta has three groups of scars on his body, and in this article, we are actually going to tell you the stories behind each of them.

Asta has three groups of scars on his body. Those scattered all around his body are actually the result of his strenuous training, to which he has been subjecting himself over the years. The scar on his chest came to be when he was fighting and when one of Mars’s Harpes pierced him in the abdomen. His final scar, a large one running from his right shoulder to his left hip, was actually given to him by Lucius Zogratis during a powerful attack that nearly killed Asta.

As you can imagine, the rest of this article will be dedicated to Asta and his scars. We are, of course, going to expand on the answer we have given you above and give you more details on the scars we’ve seen on his body. Asta is a fairly interesting character, and each of these scars has an interesting story. Asta’s scars can be divided into three groups based on their origins

As we have said, Asta is the principal protagonist of Black Clover. He is a typical Shonen hero, and while he embodies many stereotypes, Tabata managed to make him special and distinct from the others. His desire to become the next Wizard King is quite well known, and the story follows his adventures as he aims to achieve that goal. But, while we are not going to focus on Asta’s adventures here, we will focus on his physical appearance, which is also quite specific and interesting.

So, what does Asta look like? Asta is a short young man with a muscular build. He has green eyes and messy, ash-blonde hair with a single strand sticking up from the center of his head. He holds his hair together with a black headband with the golden insignia of the Black Bull squad and a red four-sided star with three stitches on the back.

After training himself in the Heart Kingdom, Asta looks more muscular. This is a relatively basic description, and it doesn’t reveal much, but we have to note that Asta’s body reveals much more than this description.

Namely, fans of Black Clover will know that Asta’s torso and body are covered with various scars. These scars are different in shape, size, and origin, and they did not show up simultaneously. Knowing the story, as we’ve said, we can divide them into three groups based on their origins. The first group consists of those scattered all around his body that are actually the result of his strenuous training, to which he has been subjecting himself over the years.

The large, menacing-looking scar on his abdomen came to be when he was fighting and when one of Mars’s Harpes pierced him in the abdomen. As for the first group, we can state that these scars are, as we’ve said, Asta’s own “fault.” It is a known fact that Asta is still subjecting himself to strenuous training and that he has been doing it for a while. And while he managed to come out stronger out of each training session, Asta actually also keeps some reminders of the gravity of his training routines.

We don’t really know how each of these individual scars came to be, but we do know that there are several of them, and that certainly means that Asta’s training sessions were quite difficult. This explains how and why he has become such a powerful character in the series.

The scar on his abdomen, the second one, actually has a story behind it and is not Asta’s fault. This scar actually appeared after Asta’s battle with Mars. It was a difficult battle, and although Asta could counter some of Mars’ attacks when Mars summoned his Harpes, the Harpes attacked Asta and pierced his abdomen. Asta survived the attack, of course, but a permanent scar was left on his abdomen that could be seen in his future appearances. This was a powerful attack; by the nature of the scar, we can see how strong it was.

His final scar, the largest one, came to be after an attack by Lucius Zogratis, a powerful opponent in his own right. Lucius attacked Asta, and he landed a powerful blow that made a deep cut on Asta’s body. And while Asta was able to heal from it, the attack was so powerful that, at one moment, there was an actual danger that Asta might die from this attack. Luckily for him, he managed to heal himself, but a scar was left in the place of the attack.
