James Gunn Dispels Speculation Surrounding Harvey Dent Casting

Lately, there have been rumors about Boyd Holbrook playing Harvey Dent in the next ‘The Batman Part II.’ The movie got postponed for more than a year without clear reasons. Fans curious about the casting asked James Gunn on Threads, a social platform he often uses to clarify rumors. Gunn simply responded with “fake.”

Gunn has a habit of clearing up rumors about his future projects like ‘Superman’ and other connected universes like the Elseworlds label, which includes the upcoming ‘The Batman’ sequel and ‘The Penguin’ show set to come out in 2024.

As for the casting in ‘The Batman Part II,’ most of the cast is still a mystery, except for a few confirmed names like Robert Pattison, who will return as Batman, as announced when the sequel was first revealed.

Harvey Dent, also known as Two-Face, is a prominent villain in Batman’s list of adversaries. He’s been featured in various live-action adaptations, played by actors such as Billy Dee Williams, Tommy Lee Jones, and Aaron Eckhart.
