No matter how much of a flop ‘The Marvels’ turned out to be, it did Ms. Marvel a solid by solidifying her status as a serious superhero in the larger MCU. It also paved the way for a new venture, ‘The Young Avengers,’ featuring a group of super-powered youngsters, with Kamala Khan undoubtedly playing a crucial role.

Following Monica’s sacrifice and journey into a different universe, Kamala is seen en route to enlist Kate Bishop. Along the way, she mentions Ant-Man’s daughter, Cassie, who now goes by the alias Stature.

Despite the significant financial setback suffered by ‘The Marvels,’ rumors suggest that ‘The Young Avengers’ project is still in the works. In a recent interview with The Direct, Iman Vellani hinted at the project’s direction. When questioned about the specific Young Avengers she’ll recruit, Iman was candid. Considering the limited pool of young superheroes in the MCU, the speculation about the lineup seems to hold true, promising an exciting addition to the Young Avengers team.

She also said she would love to see her Ms. Marvel team up with Holland’s Spider-Man.

I would love to see a team-up [with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man]. Their team-ups in the comics are honestly one of my favorites. So, that would be cool.

While we do have confirmation that ‘Spider-Man 4’ is underway, Tom Holland has recently emphasized that he’ll only commit to another installment if the project proves worthwhile and the storyline captures his interest.

Details regarding the Young Avengers project remain scarce, aside from its ongoing development and the indication that it will be a live-action film rather than a Disney+ series, as per some reports. The MCU has officially introduced three Young Avengers members: Kate Bishop, Kamala Khan, and Cassie Lang. An intriguing aspect is the uncertainty surrounding the movie’s release date, with the interviewer noting that the actors portraying these teen heroes are not getting any younger.
