When DC’s Peacemaker debuted on the silver screen in The Suicide Squad as a member of Task Force X, the potential for him as a popular character became apparent, especially considering that fans loved the character and the actor that carried him. That said, it is no secret that the Peacemaker spin-off series is on its way and is about to debut on January 13, 2022. And we all know that no comic book series is complete without its villains.
Peacemaker may or may not be a hero when it comes to the conventional standards of the term, but he does have his share of enemies and “villains” in the comics. So, in that regard, it would be nice to see some of Peacemaker’s greatest enemies on the silver screen. As such, we are here to look at some of the strongest Peacemaker villains of all time.
Strongest Peacemaker Villains
Like many different comic book characters, Peacemaker has had his fair share of facing tough enemies along the way of achieving his goal of keeping the peace. Of course, it is no secret that he has had to face some of the strongest characters in DC as well. This is why we are here to rank the strongest villains and enemies that Peacemaker has clashed within the comics.
The truth is that there aren’t a lot of things we know about Infiltrator because he is one of the characters that DC is yet to fully explore when it comes to what he can do and how powerful he can be. However, what we do know is that he has clashed with Peacemaker at least once in the comics and is one of the villains that we might see somewhere down the line not only in the series but in future comic books as well.
As the name suggests, Infiltrator works for the government. While we are not fully aware of what he can do with his abilities, it is safe to say that he has a host of different skills and possibly even some powers that allow him to be an infiltrator for the US government. It would be nice to see what he can do in the future, given that he does seem like an intriguing character, especially if he could go toe-to-toe with Peacemaker.
9. Ratcatcher 2
Some of us already know who Ratcatcher 2 is, as she was introduced on the big screen as one of the main characters of The Suicide Squad. As the name suggests, she is the second person to use the Ratcatcher name, as the first one is her father. But while she is a delightful character who may have found herself at the wrong end of the law at one point in her life, she isn’t the most capable in combat.
Ratcatcher 2 specializes in the use of her intelligence, as she was able to improve the device her father invented to communicate with rats. But while she isn’t the best in terms of combat prowess, Ratcatcher 2 specializes in team combat and is capable of controlling hordes of rats that can take down some of the strongest creatures. In the movie, the hordes of rats she controlled were responsible for taking down Starro.
We have only seen Tsukuri on-screen in the animated versions of DC. It would be amazing to see her on the screen once more but in live-action, as there is a chance that she might make an appearance in Peacemaker because of her line of work. Of course, like Peacemaker, she is someone who is often hired for special missions because of her specific skills and abilities.
Tsukuri is an amazing hand-to-hand combatant, given the fact that she was trained to be a fighter and assassin since her youth. On top of that, she is an excellent swordsman that can go toe-to-toe with the best of them. She doesn’t have any powers, but her amazing combat skills earn her a place on this list.
Tzi-Tzin is the villain that you would immediately think is the DC counterpart of Marvel’s the Mandarin. After all, the Mandarin and Tzin-Tzin are similar in a lot of aspects in the sense that they are leaders of organized crime groups and are both Asian. And the fact that Tzin-Tzin is a crime leader is what put him at odds with Peacemaker at one point in the comics.
As similar as Tzin-Tzin is to the Mandarin, the fact that this villain has magical powers is what makes him quite different. He has the ability to control humans and animals alike with his mind control magic. On top of that, he has the power to conjure up illusions that can confuse even the strongest heroes around. This makes him more than a match for Peacemaker.
Tiger used to be a hero because he was once the student and sidekick of Judomaster. However, life changed for Tiger as he went on to become one of the deadliest assassins in the world. He primarily worked for the Yakuza as their top assassin, and that was one of the reasons why he ended up clashing with Peacemaker at least once in the life of this character.
While Tiger doesn’t have any superpowers, he is still an elite assassin that stands as one of the best in his craft in the entire world. He is a master of hand-to-hand combat and is an expert in judo. This is what makes him a difficult person to fight with, especially when you consider the fact that he is elite in espionage and close combat.
5. Levi Kamei
Not a lot of people are aware of who Levi Kamei is. However, what you should know is that Levi Kamei is the new avatar of the green. That means that he is the new Swamp Thing, who may not be a villain but has clashed with heroes and villains alike, especially when it comes to matters involving the protection of the green.
The reason why Levi Kamei is ranked as high as he is on this list is the fact that he controls the green. Now that he has Swamp Thing’s powers, he can easily manipulate plants to his advantage. On top of that, he is almost indestructible, as long as he can channel the green. You can just simply look at Swamp Thing’s powers and feats to understand how powerful Levi Kamei is.
In many ways, Prometheus is the evil version of Batman. He is similar to Batman in the sense that he lost his parents at a young age. However, instead of fighting criminals, he swore to get his revenge against law enforcers, who were responsible for his parents’ death. And, through the use of his intellect, he has become a force to reckon with for characters like Peacemaker.
Prometheus doesn’t have any powers, but he makes up for it with his gadgets and tech. He uses a helmet that allows him to download any information into his brain, and that allows him to memorize attack patterns and weaknesses. On top of that, his armor is also top-of-the-line when it comes to its combat capabilities, as Prometheus has proven himself strong enough to take down any opponent with the help of his tech and intellect.
Even though Sinestro is usually a Green Lantern and a Justice League enemy, he has actually clashed with Peacemaker at one point in time. And if you know what Green Lantern can do, you would know what Sinestro can do as well, as he stands as one of the most powerful supervillains regularly appearing in DC.
Sinestro controls a yellow power ring, which feeds off fear. This allows him to understand and feed on the fear of his opponents while using the ring to conjure up any kind of object that he can use to his advantage during a fight. And because of his background as a former member of the Green Lantern Corps, he has the experience and hand-to-hand combat expertise on his side.
Eclipso is one of the strongest villains in the entire DC universe, as he was the original spirit of God’s Wrath until he was replaced by the Spectre. There is even a biblical reference to how strong he is, as Eclipso is actually the flood in the story of Noah’s Ark. He became an evil being when he became an agent of chaos and then possessed different people and beings to fulfill his evil motives.
The reason why Eclipso is as strong as he is can be attributed to his divine powers. Because he is God’s Wrath, he has god-like abilities as well. This means that he can basically do almost anything thanks to the god-like powers that he possesses. As such, it takes another being with god-like powers to contend with a being like Eclipso
Anti-Monitor is a villain that can only be defeated with the help of other heroes and characters. This is why Peacemaker, at one point, clashed with this galactic being, whose strength is several times that of any superhero you can think of. So, for all intents and purposes, Anti-Monitor is so powerful that he is essentially a god.
There are many things that Anti-Monitor can do because of his unique physiology. He basically controls antimatter and uses this energy to his advantage against any opponents. Using his powers, he has destroyed countless universes and is a multiversal threat (in comparison, Imperiex is one of the strongest DC villains but is just a universal threat).
And he is so strong that Spectre, a being with god-like powers, wasn’t even able to stop him even with the help of some of the most powerful magical beings in the galaxy.
