Metallic Rouge

‘Metallic Rouge’ is a Japanese original anime television series produced by Bones for the studio’s 25th anniversary. Directed by Motonobu Hori, the series premiered on Fuji TV’s +Ultra programming block on January 11, 2024. Set in a world where humans and artificial beings coexist, the story follows an android girl named Rouge Redstar and her companion Naomi Orthmann on a mission to Mars. Their objective is to eliminate nine rebellious androids known as the Immortal Nine, who pose a threat to the government. Yutaka Izubuchi is in charge of series composition and serves as the chief supervisor, with Toshizo Nemoto handling the screenplay, Toshihiro Kawamoto designing the characters, and Taisei Iwasaki, Yuma Yamaguchi, and Towa Tei composing the music.
