Outback Steakhouse Is Teasing an ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Tie-in as Doctor Doom’s Marketing Takeover Grows
Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ has become a huge event for brands. With Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom arriving in theaters on December 18, restaurants across the U.S. and beyond have been lining up to join the excitement.
In recent weeks, Dunkin’, Jack in the Box, Burger King India and KFC in the U.K. and Ireland have all revealed their own takes on the film. Each has added a different twist to the villain-themed campaign.
Now another restaurant chain appears to be joining in. As Avengers Updates shared, Outback Steakhouse has started teasing a new collaboration for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. The short 12-second teaser is dark and moody. A hooded silhouette stands in front of a glowing green circular symbol covered in geometric patterns, an image that fits the green-heavy look Marvel has used for Doom throughout its marketing.
Outback hasn’t shared details about what fans can expect yet. Menu items, dates, and any collectibles are still under wraps. The tease comes during a busy stretch of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ partnerships. Dunkin’ launches its themed menu on November 4, with drinks like the Doom Cloud Latte, Doom’s Orders Energy and the Iced Captain’ccino, plus collectibles like a Doctor Doom MUNCHKINS tin.
Jack in the Box joins the next day with its Doomsday Dipping Box. The meal comes with 3 sauces, including the mystery Assemble Sauce, along with 1 of 8 blind-bagged puzzle magnets featuring heroes, villains and a Jack in the Box design.

Across the Atlantic, KFC UK and Ireland has teamed up with Marvel Studios on its own Doom-themed campaign. A 1-minute promo shows Doom towering over a city destroyed by battle, while a KFC restaurant is left untouched.
A voiceover explains that KFC has reached an agreement with Doctor Doom, and all it took was a burger worthy of his name. The campaign includes a limited-time Doom-inspired burger, dark iron-riveted packaging featuring his mask, Colonel Sanders cosplay figurines, and in-store activations through January 31, 2027.

In India, Burger King teased its collaboration with a video styled like Marvel’s chair-based cast announcement. Its confirmed items include the Doomsday Whopper, Magneto Crunchy Chicken Burger, Shuri Vibranium Fries, Thor Thunder Nuggets and Fantastic Fizz.
The marketing push isn’t limited to food. The film also has an ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ edition of WWE Worlds Collide on December 15, along with themed merchandise and promotional art.

With few details revealed so far, fans are already guessing what Outback might serve. The steakhouse setting gives Marvel a different kind of partner than the fast-food chains that have joined so far. Whatever Outback has planned, the teaser makes clear that Doom will be front and center. More details will likely arrive soon as the film’s release gets closer.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ brings together the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the Wakandans and the X-Men to face Downey Jr.’s Doom. His identity and background are still being kept under wraps.
