Re-l Mayer is the female protagonist of the anime Ergo Proxy. Nineteen-year-old inspector of the Intelligence Department of the dome city of Romdo and grandson of Regent Donov Mayer, Re-l runs into Ergo Proxy while carrying out her duties and is so upset that she begins to investigate in order to solve the many mysteries that surround the creature.
