Bleach: Main Characters’ Heights, Ages & Birthdays
Tite Kubo’s Bleach is definitely a manga that defined a whole generation; the anime series that adapted the manga did the same and that is why the fans were so shocked when Bleach ended abruptly ten years ago. But, Bleach is finally back with its final arc and in this article, we are going to honor the legacy of this great series. Bleach is one of the “Big Three” anime series, alongside One Piece and Naruto, and in this article, we have decided to talk about the amazing characters of this series.
What we are about to tell you is a list of the most important Bleach characters and their heights, ages, and birthdays. The data we are going to use refers to the canon data we have and refers to the year 2003, in-universe, where applicable, which is when the main plot was over (we did not want to include the data from the tentatively titled “Hell Arc“). Ichigo Kurosaki
Ichigo Kurosaki is the protagonist of the story. Ichigo is a high school student who has the ability to interact with spirits. Afterward, he was forced to become a substitute shinigami unintentionally, as he absorbed most of the powers of another shinigami named Rukia. When the manga series was created, Kubo commented that Rukia Kuchiki had been the first character that he devised, but not for her to be the protagonist of the work, so he designed Ichigo to fill that role.
Orihime Inoue
She is an orphan and was raised by her older brother, Sora. However, Sora died in a car accident, leaving her completely alone. Initially, she lacked spiritual powers, but over the course of the series, she developed her spiritual consciousness, thus obtaining strange powers capable of violating God’s designs, and being able to reject any phenomenon altering time and space.
Uryū Ishida
Uryū Ishida is a Quincy, descended from a line of hollow hunters. At the beginning of the series, he had a certain rivalry with the other main characters, since he had a deep grudge against all the shinigami, including Ichigo, but as the story progresses they become friends. However, even being Ichigo’s friend, he cannot stop competing against him.
Yasutora Sado
Chad, whose real name is Yasutora Sado, is one of Ichigo’s best friends at school. Despite his imposing appearance, he is very meek, refusing to fight unless it is for the good of another. Chad could not see hollows, but this changed when a group of children was attacked by one. At that time, he discovered a unique ability, which was armor that strengthened his right arm. Later, he developed the ability to shoot energy with his arm and also discovered that his left arm had a powerful offensive ability.
Kon
Kon is Ichigo Kurosaki’s own mod soul at the beginning of the series. He is a Modified Soul intended to inhabit Ichigo’s body during his missions, allowing him to simultaneously hunt Hollow as a Shinigami and attend school/at home as a human. When Ichigo is not in his Shinigami form, Kon inhabits the body of a lion-shaped stuffed animal.
Rukia Kuchiki
Rukia Kuchiki is the trigger of the plot which revolves around the series and the co-star during the first two arcs. Rukia is a shinigami who was sent to Karakura Town to eliminate all the hollows there. Although her physical appearance is that of a teenager, she is actually ten times older than Ichigo.
Early in the story, Rukia was forced to transfer her powers to Ichigo and thus assumed a temporary lifestyle as a human normal, to teach her how to use her shinigami powers until she could get hers back and go back to her world. Kubo commented that Rukia was the first character created in the series, and decided to use her design to create the other shinigami in the work.
Renji Abarai
Renji Abarai is a shinigami with the rank of second-in-command of Division 6. Although he initially follows his duty and appears as a deadly enemy in the fight for Rukia, he is increasingly troubled with his conscience because he has been friends with Rukia since the beginning of his career. He is very bold, but has great respect for the skills of his superior Byakuya, whom he is determined to outrank. In addition, he does not always agree with his actions, which are strictly based on traditional rules. In battle, Renji always uses his Zanpakuto Zabimaru.
Keigo Asano
Keigo Asano is a student at Karakura High School and a classmate of Ichigo Kurosaki. Keigo is mostly a very goofy and hyperactive teenager who likes to use overly dramatic words and movements to express his feelings. He also loves fireworks, video games, and beach parties. Although he’s more or less just a clown in the early part of the series, he becomes a bit more important later in the series.
The Asano family consists of Keigo, his father, his mother, and his sister Mizuho Asano. Just like Tatsuki, Keigo lives with both parents, which is unusual, unlike many other characters in the series.
Tatsuki Arisawa
Tatsuki Arisawa is a student at Karakura High School and a classmate of Ichigo Kurosaki, his childhood friend, and former karate partner since they went to the same karate dojo when they were kids. She is also Orihime Inoue’s best friend and has been caring for her and protecting her ever since her brother’s death.
Mizuiro Kojima
Mizuiro Kojima is a student at Karakura High School and one of Ichigo’s classmates. Despite his appearance, Mizuiro is, according to Ichigo, a “lady killer” with a penchant for women who are older than himself.
He often has great success with it, which is most likely due to his looks and demeanor when meeting interesting women discovering, connecting, and often dating more than one woman, which is why he often has to apologize to Keigo because he has to cancel dates with him.
Chizuru Honshō
Chizuru Honshō is a student at Karakura High School and she is in the same class as Ichigo Kurosaki. She is a proud lesbian who seems happy almost all the time. Her name is listed as the 31st Student in Academic Achievement.
Chizuru is a lesbian who does not hide her sexual orientation and, on every minimal occasion, she takes the opportunity to kiss Orihime Inoue, compliment her, and stroke her breasts.
Don Kanonji
Don Kanonji owns a hit TV series and is a self-proclaimed ghost hunter. His real first name is Misaomaru. Don Kanonji is quite a show-off who overestimates himself and is very proud, which is why when he first encountered a hollow, he didn’t want to let Ichigo fight, but wanted to exorcise the “evil spirit” himself.
But when he realized how strong he is, he preferred to leave him to Ichigo. Still, Kanonji would rarely run away from an opponent, especially when cameras are rolling, so as not to deprive his fans, especially children, of hope that heroes still exist.
Karin Kurosaki
Karin Kurosaki is the daughter of Isshin and Masaki Kurosaki, Ichigo’s little sister and Yuzu’s fraternal twin. In the anime, she befriends Tōshirō Hitsugaya. Like Yuzu, she often helps out at the family hospital.
She can see ghosts just like Ichigo, which is how she finds out that her big brother is a shinigami. Karin is a very self-confident girl and sometimes seems a bit grumpy. She is Yuzu’s twin sister.
Yuzu Kurosaki
Yuzu is Ichigo’s little sister and also Karin’s twin sister. Unlike her sister, Yuzu is more reserved and much more empathetic than her. Yuzu takes care of the household chores by cooking food, cleaning up, and even cutting Ichigo’s hair from time to time, as well as helping out at the family clinic.
She also likes to play with Kon but does not know that he is alive and often dresses him in clothes or something similarly feminine. Yuzu also tends to get very upset when Ichigo disappears for an extended period of time.
Isshin Kurosaki
Isshin Kurosaki, formerly known as Isshin Shiba is the father of Karin, Yuzu, and Ichigo and thus the head of the Kurosaki family. He has a small private clinic, the Kurosaki Clinic. He is a very experienced doctor and can perform almost any medical procedure in his clinic, except for major operations. He is a former Shinigami and the former Captain of Division 10, who gave up his powers to save Masaki Kurosaki from becoming a Hollow.
Masaki Kurosaki
Masaki Kurosaki was an Echt Quincy and the wife of Isshin Shiba, the mother of Ichigo Kurosaki, Karin Kurosaki, and Yuzu Kurosaki. She died nine years ago protecting her son from Grand Fisher. This was later confirmed to be due to Yhwach’s machinations, which made Masaki much weaker, which, in turn, enabled Grand Fisher to kill her.
Ururu Tsumugiya
Ururu Tsumugiya is a shy, black-haired girl who mostly does the work at the Urahara Shop.
Ururu’s skill in combat contrasts with her normal attitude, which until now has been undefined but said to be very high (Kisuke Urahara described her skills as being at an “anti-Shinigami level”). She is often the “victim” of Jinta’s bullying, after which Tessai kicks Jinta’s butt.
Jinta Hanakari
Jinta Hanakari is a small, red-haired boy who was supposed to do the housework for the Urahara Shop, such as cleaning. Instead, he usually takes it easy, forcing Ururu Tsumugiya to do all the work.
Although he keeps pushing her around, he still seems to care for her, such as when he brings back Ururu’s body after she was wounded by an Arrancar. Although he knows a lot more than his appearance would suggest, he is still very childish.
Kūgo Ginjō
Kūgo Ginjō is a mysterious man who appeared 17 months after Ichigo Kurosaki lost his Shinigami powers. He is also the leader of the Xcution group. Kūgo has almost shoulder-length black hair, which he wears slicked back, similar to Sōsuke Aizen. He is tall and wears a black leather jacket with a fur collar, a light T-shirt underneath, dark trousers, and a necklace in the shape of a cross.
Shūkurō Tsukishima
Shūkurō Tsukishima is a Fullbring user who has been attacking Ichigo and his friends ever since Ichigo contacted Xcution. Shūkurō Tsukishima is a very opaque cold character. At first glance, he seems very relaxed and calm, he seems to be able to judge his subordinates and his opponents well, which is why he is not easily surprised by anything. His remarks to others are often mocking or provocative, although his general demeanor is exceedingly polite.
Riruka Dokugamine
Riruka Dokugamine is a former member of the organization Xcution, which was dissolved after the death of Kūgo Ginjō, and was registered there as member 003. Riruka is very confident and quite cheeky.
She is so confident in herself that she told Kūgo that she has a better chance of bringing Ichigo Kurosaki to her side than he does. Her performances so far have also shown that she is very impatient and spirited.
Yukio Hans Vorarlberna
Yukio Hans Vorarlberna is a quiet boy who belongs to the organization Xcution, where he is registered as member 005. Yukio is a fairly quiet guy who, after Rirukia, has a habit of just playing video games most of the day.
But sometimes he also behaves very childishly, he annoys Rirukia and says that you can see her panties when she kicks the doors, ignores her when she counters, thinks it’s cool that his opponent has an ice sword or refuses to do things that he just doesn’t want to do.
Kazui Kurosaki
Kazui Kurosaki is the son of Ichigo Kurosaki and Orihime Inoue. Born after fighting Yhwach, he possesses Shinigami powers. Kazui has dark orange hair and orange-brown eyes. His facial features are clearly those of his mother, his hair is reminiscent of Ichigo’s, but it is much less spiky. Kazui wears a green hoodie when he performs.
Ichika Abarai
Ichika Abarai is the daughter of Rukia Kuchiki and Renji Abarai. She is a Gotei 13-trained Shinigami. Ichika’s facial features are similar to Rukia’s (particularly her eyes, which appear to be slightly lighter than Rukia’s). Like Renji’s, her hair is divided into coarse strands and partly tied up in a ponytail. Her hair color is not revealed in the manga, but it stands to reason that it is a dark shade of red.
Sōsuke Aizen
The former 5th Division captain, Sōsuke Aizen is a man of calm and serene appearance, despite his level of power. He would later prove to be a traitor to Soul Society (along with Tōsen and Ichimaru).
He is the instigator of the plot to bring down Soul Society. In order to recover the Hōgyoku (Pearl of Destruction), created and hidden in Rukia Kuchiki’s body by Kisuke Urahara, he organizes the execution of Rukia, which creates unrest in the Seireitei; he then pretends to be dead with the help of his zanpakutō which possesses hypnotic powers, in order to be able to act discreetly.
Yumichika Ayasegawa
At first glance, Yumichika Ayasegawa really doesn’t belong in the Eleventh Division. As Ikkaku already occupies the 3rd rank and he finds the number 4 ugly (as it is synonymous with bad luck in Japan), he preferred to be in the 5th place, so that would mean that he is more powerful than his rank and that he is certainly as powerful as Ikkaku, even if he willingly lets him fight. He worships beauty above all.
Momo Hinamori
Momo Hinamori is the Lieutenant of the 5th Division under Aizen. She is a good friend of Renji and Kira as well as Captain Hitsugaya’s adopted sister (Rukongai). She idolizes her Captain Aizen and will be so upset by his (alleged) death, that she will challenge Captain Hitsugaya to a duel, believing that he is the assassin. She will then escape from prison to avenge her captain.
Despite her fragile appearance, she is very strong and will even stand up (verbally at least) to Captain Kuchiki when the latter gives the order to throw the seriously injured Renji in prison without treating him. She is also an expert in kidô (magic) and baking.
Shūhei Hisagi
Shūhei Hisagi is the lieutnant of the 9th division. When he was younger, when he was not yet vice-captain, he had Renji, Hinamori and Kira under his command at the shinigami academy for their first mission to hunt hollows in the real world. He has a deep respect for ex-captain Kensei Muguruma, and his tattoos pay homage to him.
Tōshirō Hitsugaya
He is the Captain of Division 10 and the youngest ever to hold such an office. He is very intelligent and first suspected Gin Ichimaru of being the mastermind behind the plot. He would protect his childhood friend Momo Hinamori with his life, but he is of small stature for his age and is repeatedly treated like a child, which he absolutely dislikes.
His Zanpakuto is called Hyōrinmaru and appears in the form of a gigantic ice dragon with the power to rule the sky and weather. It is the strongest Ice Zanpakutō ever.
Gin Ichimaru
Ichimaru Gin was captain of the 3rd division and the former lieutenant of the 5th division, under the command of Aizen Sosuke. Upon his arrival at the Seireitei (after completing the academy in a year, which is stupendous), he killed the third seat of the 5th Division in secret and took his place. He first appears after Byakuya Kuchiki confirms Renji and Rukia that the latter has been executed.
Izuru Kira
Izuru Kira is the 3rd Division lieutenant. He was first under the orders of Ichimaru Gin, then, after the latter’s betrayal, under the orders of Amagaī Shūsuke (in the anime). Izuru Kira will find himself without a captain again after Amagaī’s suicide. Izuru was born into a family of lesser nobility, his parents died when he was young.
Sajin Komamura
He is the commander of Division 7. His appearance resembles that of a humanoid, gigantic fox. To hide his true appearance, he wore a mask until the fight against Kenpachi Zaraki. He was a good friend of Kaname Tōsen until the day the latter betrayed him and Soul Society.
He became a shinigami to honor Yamamoto, since he was one of the first people (along with Tōsen, who couldn’t see him) not to disown him for his looks. His Zanpakutō is called Tenken, but he almost always fights with the Bankai.
Byakuya Kuchiki
He is the Captain of Division 6 and head of one of the four noble families of Soul Society. He is a very rational, cool person who has faithfully followed the law ever since his wife Hisana, Rukia’s older sister, died. At her request, he took Rukia into his family and was supposed to protect her as his own sister.
At the same time, he swore by his parents’ grave that he would never again break the rules of Soul Society, even if they didn’t seem (totally) reasonable to him. He feels a debt of guilt to Ichigo for allowing him to once again choose between the law and one’s heart’s desire. His Zanpakutō is called Senbonzakura.
Mayuri Kurotuschi
He is the Captain of Division 12 and the head of the research department. He has a strange and ever-changing appearance, stemming from the experiments he has performed on himself.
Because of these experiments and inventions, he sometimes has very unusual fighting techniques. His zanpakutō is called Ashisogi Jizō. He likes to refer to beings with special strengths as “test subjects” and has very macabre traits. He’s a scientist who hates perfection because perfection doesn’t allow for improvement.
Nemu Kurotsuchi
Nemu Kurotsuchi is an artificial being composed of gigai created by Mayuri, whom he calls his “daughter”. Regularly, it serves as a diversion during the fights of Mayuri, and acts as a pain reliever.
Nemu’s artificial nature allows Mayuri to use her as an object, such as having her perform low physical works or inserting different potions into her body (Szayelapporo Grantz will pay the price). She will save Ishida’s life by giving him the cure for the poison with which Mayuri had infected him.
Shunsui Kyōraku
He is the Captain of Division 8 and a former student of Yamamoto. He appears lazy, spends his days daydreaming, and likes to drink sake, but is a strong, loyal fighter and has good people skills. He was one of Yamamoto’s students along with Jūshirō Ukitake. His zanpakutō is called Katen Kyōkotsu. After Yamamoto’s death, he was selected as the new Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13.
Ikkaku Madarame
Ikkaku Madarame is the third officer in the division and like all members of it, he particularly enjoys combat. He will meet Zaraki, his future captain, in Rukongai, during a fight between them. While both were not yet shinigami. At the end of a long fight, Madarame will lose, and will swear to devote his life to the only man who could dominate him like this. It is for this reason that he will join the ranks of the 11th Division. He will be Ichigo’s first opponent in the Seireitei against whom he is waging a fierce battle.
Rangiku Matsumoto
She is the lieutenant of the 10th division. She is a beautiful red-haired woman with a big chest that she highlights with cleavages, and that she does not hesitate to use to achieve her ends (see the landing of the Hitsugaya team at Ichigo). She loves alcohol and does everything to postpone the moments of work. She is a childhood friend of Gin, and she seems to have feelings for him, which are reciprocal. They had been living together since the day Gin found her passed out in Rukongai.
Chōjirō Sasakibe
Chōjirō Sasakibe was the vice-captain of the 1st Division. Little is known about him except his great admiration for the Victorian era.
He is killed by the Quincy Driscoll Berci at the start of the final arc, in a fight where he will have used his Bankai for the first time to defend himself; he would have mastered it before older captains like Shunsui Kyōraku or Jūshirō Ukitake but declined the captaincy out of loyalty to Captain-Commander Yamamoto.
Yoruichi Shihōin
Yoruichi Shihōin was once the leader of Division 2. She helps Ichigo and his friends get into Soul Society. She initially took the form of a cat and liked to embarrass Ichigo when she transformed back. Yoruichi is very revealing and becomes the subject of a few fanservice scenes. She also has a very special relationship with Soi Fon and is very close with Urahara.
Soi Fon
She is the Captain of Division 2 and a former member of Yoruichi Shihōin’s bodyguards, who harbored a violent grudge against her until a fight. After her defeat, she forgives Yoruichi for her disappearance without a trace.
Her Zanpakutō is called Suzumebachi. Despite this, she quickly becomes embarrassed when Yoruichi is around her, often giving the impression that she wants to form a yuri relationship with her. She is therefore very polite and extremely respectful of her former mentor.
Jūshirō Ukitake
He is the Captain of the 13th Division and thus Rukia’s superior. A former student of Yamamoto, he is a very intelligent, quiet man who values his subordinates. He suffers from a disease similar to tuberculosis because he keeps coughing up blood, which renders him incapable from time to time. His Zanpakutō is called Sōgyo no Kotowari.
Kisuke Urahara
Kisuke Urahara is the owner of a shop that sells useful items for Shinigami. It is learned that he is the former commander of Division 12 and the founder of the research department.
Kisuke is a very easy-going person who often infuriates Ichigo and his friends. He typically wears a green and white striped hat, coat, and sandals. When it comes down to it, Kisuke can also get serious and proves to be a very strong fighter. According to Aizen, Kisuke has a higher intellect than himself. His zanpakutō is called Benihime.
Retsu Unohana
Retsu Unohana is the Captain of Division 4 and specializes in healing powers. She is a beautiful and gentle, yet very assertive woman, who sometimes has a slightly morbid and sinister demeanor that silences even the thugs of the Eleventh Division. Her zanpakutō is called Minazuki. Although she rarely participates in battles and her company is the weakest, she is considered one of the strongest shinigami. Her previous name was Yachiru Unohana.
Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto
He is the Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13, the Division 1 Captain, and the teacher of Shunsui Kyōraku and Jūshirō Ukitake. He is a very old man and strictly follows the rules of Soul Society.
He is considered the strongest Shinigami of the last millennium and is very muscular despite his old age. His sword is called Ryūjin Jakka and is the strongest of all Zanpakutō. He is killed fighting Yhwach after his Bankai is stolen from him.
Kenpachi Zaraki
He is the commander of Division 11 and the only commander who neither knows the name of his Zanpakutō nor can arrange for its release (in the beginning, at least).
The name Zaraki Kenpachi is a name he gave to himself. It is composed of the words “Zaraki”, the name of a district in Rukongai – the slums of Soul Society – from which he comes, and “Kenpachi”, a title given to the strongest swordsman. In his arguments, he relies entirely on his strength and the hardness of his body; he appears very uncouth and brutal but tends to lecture his opponents and give them a second chance.
Shinji Hirako
Shinji Hirako is the leader of the Visored. Although he is almost always the protagonist of comic skits, he knows how to be serious in critical moments. One hundred years before the current events he was the captain of the Fifth Division and, distrustful of Aizen, he chose him as a lieutenant precisely to be able to control him closely; however, due to his distrust, he did not notice the illusory properties of Aizen’s Zanpakutō, allowing him to continue his plans undisturbed.
Kensei Muguruma
Kensei Muguruma is the captain of the Ninth Division. With a muscular and athletic physique, he wears a blue tank top with a gray outline and orange gloves, has silver-gray hair, and has the number 69 tattooed on his abdomen, which Shūhei Hisagi imitated by making a similar one on his cheek as a sign of gratitude after being was saved as a child.
According to what Kuna revealed, he is short-tempered, quarrelsome, and somewhat irritable.
Rōjūrō Ōtoribashi
Rōjūrō Otoribashi, also known as Rose, is a man with long blonde hair. He was promoted to Captain of the Third Division one year before Kisuke Urahara, 111 years ago. Ten years later, when the blackouts on the Rukongai reach Captain Kensei Muguruma and his Lieutenant Mashiro Kuna, Rose is sent along with Shinji, Love, Lisa, and Hachigen to investigate the incident, which turned them all into Visoreds.
Lisa Yadōmaru
Lisa Yadōmaru is the Captain of the 8th Division, she was formerly the Lieutenant of that company and served under former commander Shunsui Kyōraku. Furthermore, Lisa is one of the eight Shinigami who were hollowfied through Sōsuke Aizen’s experiment and thus became one of the Visored. Because of this, she temporarily lived in the mundane world, in exile in Karakura.
Kaname Tōsen
Kaname Tōsen is blind, has dark skin, and braided purple hair, and after serving as the 5th Seath of the 9th Division under Muguruma Kensei, he became the former captain of the 9th Division. Tōsen is mainly interested in the notion of justice, and became a shinigami in order to fulfill this ideal. This motivation of Tōsen comes from the murder of his best friend, forcibly married to a nobleman who killed her without being worried by the courts. Aizen recruits Tōsen after this incident, promising him to overthrow the corrupt monarchy that reigns over the Seireitei (and thus do justice to his best friend).
During Aizen’s rebellion, Tōsen goes with him to Hueco Mundo and gains Vizard powers, allowing him to summon a Hollow Mask to increase his strength.
Ulquiorra Cifer
Ulquiorra is a very strong fighter. Before his final battle against Ichigo, he appears to have no trouble dealing with opponents, instead fighting with his hands in his pockets, which he only uses to block attacks or stab enemies unarmed. Only in the last fight does he finally draw his sword, with which he is also very skilled.
Asguiaro Ebern
Asguiaro Ebern was an Arrancar in the service of the Wandenreich organization. Despite being an Arrancar, he has shown some servitude towards the leader of the Wandenreich, and even showed annoyance and anger before Ichigo Kurosaki when Kurosaki called him “Arrancar”, trying to prove him otherwise by using his Quincy powers.
Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez
As the Sexta Espada, Grimmjow is the 6th most powerful Arrancar in Aizen’s army, with a level capable of rivaling Ichigo repeatedly and being an opponent worthy of a Shinigami Captain. He has not been shown to possess at least one unique ability but is a very proficient hand-to-hand combatant, possessing a masterful ability to use it as his primary means of attack. He is equally deadly with punches and kicks, and is very unpredictable.
Szayelaporro Granz
Being the Octava Espada, Szayelaporro is the 8th Arrancar with the highest destructive power in Aizen’s army, which makes him a not inconsiderable enemy, at the level of a Soul Society Captain. In addition to undeniable combat skills, Szayelaporro is responsible for the scientific and technological development of Hueco Mundo, being the inventor of numerous spiritual weapons (or so Dondochakka claims).
Tier Harribel
As the Tercera Espada, Harribel is officially the 3rd most powerful Arrancar within Aizen’s army, making him one of the most powerful characters in the series and an opponent comparable in terms of strength to a Captain of the Gotei 13. Her spiritual pressure is so great that both she and the other Espada who occupy the top four positions in the hierarchy are totally prohibited from releasing their Zanpakutō under the dome of the Las Noches.
Baraggan Louisenbairn
Being the Segunda Espada, Baraggan is considered the 2nd most powerful Arrancar in Aizen’s army, which also makes him one of the characters with the greatest combat potential in the entire series, comparable or even superior to that of most. of the Shinigami Captains. His spiritual pressure is so great that he and the other Espada of rank 4 or higher are prohibited from releasing their Zanpakutō inside Las Noches.
Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck
In her original form, Nell wields a Zanpakutō, and her abilities and knowledge of the battlefield are high enough to make her one of the most powerful Arrancars in existence.
Although it is true that, as Nnoitra told her, her former position as the third Arrancar with a greater destructive capacity no longer means anything in the scale of power of the current Espada, despite not having fought for years or being in the fullness of her strength, she was able to put the Fifth Sword on the ropes, which makes her a warrior of enormous potential.
Coyote Starrk
Starrk is the Primera Espada and, therefore, the most powerful Arrancar in Aizen’s army, it was believed until it was discovered that the number of swords is counted from 0 to 9, alluding to the fact that Yammy Llargo released his Zanpaku -tō converts from Sword 10 to 0 is the strongest. While his laid-back and lazy nature makes him dislike taking his fights seriously, Starrk has proven to be one of the most powerful characters in the series, measuring up to the highest ranks of Soul Society.
Yhwach
Yhwach is the king of the Vandenreich, the Sternritter with the designation A, and the strongest Quincy. He is cruel, devious, and absolutely authoritarian toward his subordinates.
A thousand years ago, he was sealed by Yamamoto, but after 900 years his heart started beating again, after 90 years he regained his intellect, and after 9 years his powers. During the invasion of Soul Society, he kills Yamamoto and steals his Bankai. His goal is to conquer the world in 9 days.
Ryūken Ishida
Ryūken Ishida is the father of Uryū Ishida and with him the (currently) last living Quincy. He is the son of Sōken Ishida, Uryū’s grandfather, and an old acquaintance of Isshin Kurosaki. Ryūken comes across as very cool and rational.
Also, he obviously doesn’t believe in Shinigami and Quincys. He repeatedly emphasized to Uryū during his childhood that he was not interested in anything that Uryū understood that his father had no Quincy powers. Also, Ryūken forbade Uryū from training with his grandfather.
Sōken Ishida
Sōken Ishida is Ryūken Ishida’s father and Uryū Ishida’s grandfather. He was one of the last of the Quincy until his death. Sōken was a kind-hearted old man with gray hair, a mustache and glasses. He was loved and admired by his grandson, who saw him not only as a grandfather but also as a teacher. Sōken seems to have been more of a pacifist or at least a peace-loving person, as can be inferred from his Quincy philosophy.
Jugram Haschwalth
Jugram Haschwalth is the Sternritter with the designation B the right hand of Yhwach. He is respected by most Quincys and is considered by many to be Yhwachs’s successor. Bazz-B calls him “Jugo”. Haschwalth broke Ichigo’s bankai during the invasion.
Askin Nakk Le Vaar
Askin Nakk Le Vaar is the Sternritter with the designation “D”. He is part of the Schutzstaffel and looks like a black-haired boy, with a small tuft that falls in front of his face and full lips. He is a very lazy character: in fact, he is the only one of all the Quincys who does not actively take part in the war against the Shinigami.
One of his main characteristics of him, however, is that he is very cautious and thoughtful. His particular power consists in altering the lethal dose of any substance present within his own organism or that of his opponent, so as to survive deadly attacks or cause death.
Äs Nödt
Äs Nödt is the Sternritter with the designation F. Äs’ gender was unknown because of the long hair and the half mask that covers the lower half of the face but was later revealed to be male. Äs can inspire fear in his opponents. This is how Äs defeated Byakuya after Äs stole his Bankai. Äs is burned by Yamamoto’s flames but survives.
Quilge Opie
Quilge Opie is the Stertitter with the designation J and is also the commander of the Hunting Army. He defeats Harribels Fracciónes and Ayon but is defeated by Ichigo. However, Quilge gets back up and delays Ichigo’s arrival in Soul Society by imprisoning him in a Reishi prison. Before he can kill Urahara, Orihime, and Chad, he is killed by Grimmjow. His Quincy: Vollständig is called Biskiel.
