Episode 7 Hints Already Reveal the Second Sith in ‘The Acolyte’

After Qimir was unveiled as The Stranger in ‘The Acolyte,’ Leslye Headland hinted at the presence of another Sith in the show. We expect to discover the identity of this second Sith tomorrow with the release of the final episode.

Many theories suggest that Master Sol is a Sith Lord or that Darth Tenebrous will be introduced. However, based on Episode 7, the truth seems much simpler than these speculations.

If you suspect that Mother Koril is a mysterious Sith Lord, I have to agree with you. The show, particularly the latest episode, has dropped some significant hints in that direction.

Let’s consider who opposed the Jedi the most in Episodes 3 and 7. Mother Koril was antagonistic from the start and significantly contributed to the tension between the Witches of Brendok and the visiting Jedi.

Additionally, Mother Koril advocated for a tougher approach to raising the twins. She was extremely opposed to the twins being tested, especially Osha leaving the coven.

She also sent Mae to stop Osha from leaving by any means necessary, which led to Mae setting Osha’s room on fire. This action indirectly resulted in the destruction of the entire coven, fueling dark emotions within her.

Mother Koril is also the only witch to survive the onslaught, having transformed into a shadowy Force Spirit form and escaped.

The biggest clue, however, is her unique understanding of what the twins Osha and Mae truly are. Leslye Headland explained that Osha and Mae are prototypes of the chosen one, an early version of Anakin but far weaker. This is because Aniseya’s power was split in two while creating them, as she lacked the strength to create a single powerful being.

The Force Vergence completed the process, leading to the creation of the twins. Their greatest strength lies in their unity, which is the essence of “The Power of Two.” Aniseya’s and Koril’s entire philosophy centered around keeping the girls together, explaining Koril’s vehement opposition to their departure with the Jedi.

However, Qimir also seems to grasp the concept of “The Power of Two,” suggesting he received this knowledge from someone intimately familiar with the twins’ creation. While Mother Aniseya used her powers to bring them into being, it was Mother Koril who gave birth to them.

The reveal of the second Sith may not be a surprise but rather a confirmation of what we suspected—that one of the twins’ mothers is indeed the Master. Qimir’s relentless pursuit of “The Power of Two” and his Acolyte appears to be aimed at eliminating this Sith.
