Is Chris Pratt Leaving the MCU for Gunn’s DCU?: “There’s Always a Chance”
A couple of weeks ago, Chris Pratt hinted at his involvement with both the DCU and the MCU. ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ teased his return with the caption “Star-Lord will return,” but there are also numerous arguments supporting his potential crossover to the DCU.
Recently, Pratt was spotted with James Gunn on the set of ‘Superman,’ sparking fan speculation that he might have a role in the movie, no matter how minor. Pratt’s recent comments have only fueled these speculations further.
Speaking to TMZ, Pratt revealed that he can’t confirm or deny having a role in the DCU, but he is certainly interested in various roles.
There’s always a chance but of course, I wouldn’t be able to spoil it here on the sidewalk with you. […] But I better not, I better not.
He also declined to reveal which character he would like to play, leaving that speculation to the fans.
Man, I just have to leave that to the fans, and to people like James [Gunn] to decided. I’m not exactly sure. […] If it could fit into my schedule and if it made sense…I would love it. Of course, I love playing Star-Lord, and so, hopefully, there’s a chance that could come back, and you know I just feel so blessed, to be able to do any of it, to be considered for any of it. […] If It’s right and the fans would love it, then I’d be more than happy to do it.

Pratt was widely speculated to join the DCU as Booster Gold, a character slated to get his own series in the DCU’s first phase. However, Gunn debunked this rumor a couple of weeks ago, though his wording doesn’t entirely rule out Pratt’s involvement with the role.
