The Uchiha Clan is one of the four noble clans of Konohagakure in the fictional world of Naruto. It was considered one of the two most powerful clans in the shinobi world due to its valuable Sharingan, along with the Senju Clan, during the Clan War Era. Due to their great skills in all types of combat, they earned the nickname War Clan. A lot of members of the Uchiha Clan have been revealed and they are all – more or less – noteworthy characters we have to talk about. In this article, we have decided to compose a list of the 15 most powerful Uchiha Clan members in Naruto. Enjoy!
15. Yashiro Uchiha
Yashiro Uchiha was a Shinobi member of the Uchiha Clan and the Military Police of the Hidden Leaf Village. Yashiro was the only known member of the Uchiha Clan whose hair was not visually black. Despite his old age, Yashiro was one of the highest-ranking officers in the Konoha Police Force. He has only been seen through flashbacks in the anime, in which it is seen that he did not get along with Itachi at all.
He was one of the reasons Itachi was thought to have a front and that he had found an easy way into ANBU. Yashiro was a major conspirator in the Uchiha Clan’s plans to overthrow the Konoha government. Secretly, he received information from the Masked Man, which he fed to Fugaku with the intention of prompting him to carry out a coup d’état, unwilling to accept responsibility himself.
During the night of the Uchiha Clan Massacre, Itachi entered Yashiro’s house, killing his wife, parents, and son; Yashiro ended up running away to save himself. When Itachi caught up with him, Yashiro attempted to blame the masked man, causing Itachi to reveal that the man was now helping him take down the Uchiha. Realizing that he had been manipulated by the man, Yashiro offered to call off the hit and, failing to work, begged for his life.
Itachi used the Tsukuyomi on Yashiro, causing him to experience days of torture in moments. When Yashiro was already unable to speak coherently, Itachi cut off his head. Yashiro had long gray hair that he wore spiked up. He also possessed slanted eyes, which he only opened when he activated his Sharingan.
He wore the traditional attire of the Uchiha Clan, which consisted of a purple shirt with a high collar, short sleeves, and the Uchiha symbol on the back, as well as a pair of brown pants. He also wore a pair of black arm guards and bandages around his legs. When he was on duty, he wore the traditional Konoha shinobi outfit with the police force symbol on his shoulder. His abilities are not well known, but being a member of the Uchiha Clan, he possessed his respective Kekkei Genkai, that is, the Sharingan.
14. Izumi Uchiha
Izumi Uchiha was a Kunoichi from Konohagakure and a childhood friend of Itachi Uchiha, for whom she had feelings. During the extermination of the Uchiha clan, she died in Itachi’s arms, who killed her and her mother first. Shortly before her death, she fast-forwarded her future in Itachi-spawned Tsukuyomi – as Itachi’s partner and mother to her children.
13. Inabi Uchiha
Inabi Uchiha was a member of the Konoha Military Police and a member of the Uchiha Clan. He and two other officers, Tekka Uchiha and Yashiro Uchiha, questioned Itachi Uchiha about his whereabouts during the time Shisui Uchiha supposedly committed suicide. Itachi replied very irritated, making him suspicious.
During the night of the Uchiha Clan Massacre, Itachi killed Inabi’s wife before they were both aware of her presence. Inabi tried to attack Itachi with a fire jutsu, but Itachi cut off her head before the flames could come out of his mouth. Inabi had long dark brown hair, and he was wearing the standard outfit of the Uchiha Clan, with a Konoha Military Police symbol on one of his shoulders.
As a member of the Uchiha Clan, he possessed the Kekkei Genkai of his Clan, the Sharingan, with which he could see the Chakra Flow, among other abilities that the sharingan provided him, in addition, it is believed that he had abilities for interrogation. He was also able to use the Fire Release and in the anime, he could release a stream of fire to incinerate the target.
12. Hikaku Uchiha
Hikaku Uchiha was a member of the Uchiha Clan in the past before Konoha was founded. He lived during the time before Konoha was founded and died very young; him at the young age of 25. Hikaku had light brown hair, falling to the sides of his face, and a high ponytail at the back of his head. He was wearing a lilac shirt, with some kind of gold brooch on his right arm.
In the manga, his hair was black and his darker shirt also had unusual lines on the inside of his eyes. Although his personality is not known, it is known that, despite his young age, he had great leadership skills within the clan. Although nothing is known about his abilities, it is seen that he could use the three-bladed Sharingan. It is also said that he was one of the most powerful shinobi in the Uchiha Clan.
11. Tajima Uchiha
As a veteran and experienced Uchiha member, he possesses his clan’s Kekkei Genkai, the Sharingan, though the mastery he had over it is unknown. In addition, it is assumed that he may have been a user of the Fire Release as is usual for members of the Uchiha Clan. However, virtually nothing is known of Tajima’s abilities, but he was seen carrying a Sword on his back, indicating that he was a practitioner of Kenjutsu.
10. Kagami Uchiha
As a member of the Uchiha Clan, Kagami possessed a very strong Chakra, plus he was able to awaken his clan’s Kekkei Genkai, the Sharingan, which provided him with many abilities. These include being able to see the Flow of Chakra, easily recognize Genjutsu and different forms of Chakra, the ability to foresee enemy movements, as well as copy techniques.
In the anime, his visual prowess was praised by Danzō because with it, he was able to save his life on several occasions. One of Kagami’s descendants, Shisui, who was one of the strongest and most skilled users of the Sharingan, openly declared his inferiority as a ninja compared to his ancestor.
9. Sarada Uchiha
Inheriting her father’s prodigious talent, to the point of being compared to him in his prime, and her mother’s intelligence, Sarada was rated third in her Academy class, her teachers claiming she would pass. the Genin Exam easily, and that she had what it takes to achieve her dream of becoming Hokage.
As a kunoichi of the Uchiha clan, she is considered an elite genin who excels at everything, being able to make it to the final round of the Chūnin Exam and judged to have Chūnin-level combat analysis and leadership skills by the senior ranks. By gaining more practice with her Sharingan, she is able to defeat experienced shinobi such as Buntan Kurosuki, Ashimaru, and Kirara.
8. Fugaku Uchiha
Fugaku Uchiha was a jōnin from Konoha. He was both the head of the Uchiha clan and the Konoha Police Department. Fugaku Uchiha was the leader of the Uchiha Clan as well as the head of the Konoha Police Department, a police force responsible for maintaining order within the village, created at the time of the Second Hokage, and which since then has always been under the responsibility of the Clan.
During the Third Great Ninja War, shinobi of other nations trembled at the mention of Fugaku, the Evil Eye. In the final weeks of the war, Fugaku accompanied his four-year-old son, Itachi, to a battlefield to confront his young son with the harsh reality of death. He sought to make him aware of what the life of a shinobi was like fighting, killing, and dying.
7. Shin Uchiha
Shin Uchiha was a shinobi who was once a follower of Orochimaru and his test subject for experimentation with genetics. Shin was trying to revive Akatsuki and return the conflicts to the world so that humans could evolve through them. Despite his last name, he wasn’t really a member of the Uchiha Clan.
Shin was a very capable combatant and strategist, such that he was almost able to defeat Sasuke by manipulating his father’s state before Sakura’s intervention. During her battle against Sakura, he was able to stand his ground against her and hurt her to the point of being exhausted after Sasuke’s intervention.
Shin possessed a unique genetic makeup that allowed him to fully accept any genetic material, be it tissue, organs, or entire limbs, without the ability to reject it, allowing him to fully integrate it into his being. This allowed Shin to make use of any genetic modification to its full potential.
According to Orochimaru, it was precisely this ability that facilitated the creation of clones as permanent entities separate from himself. These clones apparently possess the same genetic modifications that Shin underwent.
6. Shisui Uchiha
Shisui was one of the most outstanding and talented members of his clan in battle, earning the nickname Shisui of the Blinking Body, which implies a great mastery of the Blinking Body Jutsu. His abilities made him captain of his own team: Team Shisui. In addition to this, he was known for his great mastery of Genjutsu, surprising a squad of Kirigakure ninjas with his genjutsu who, noticing his presence, instantly retreated.
Another indication of his power is that Kabuto Yakushi wanted to revive him during the war and recognized the genjutsu that freed Itachi as the Kotoamatsukami (Shisui’s Mangekyō Sharingan Genjutsu). He was also supposedly a good user of Kenjutsu, mastering the use of his Tantō, and possessing good pain tolerance, as he didn’t even flinch when removing his remaining eye.
Like many members of his clan, Shisui had awakened to the Sharingan. The mastery of his pupils rivaled that of Itachi, both renowned for their prowess and power in their use. Using it, he accessed basic dōjutsu skills such as distinguishing chakra, anticipating movement, and placing a victim in a paralyzing genjutsu with a single glance.
5. Izuna Uchiha
Izuna Uchiha was recognized as possessing prodigious talent, even by the battle standards of the Uchiha Clan, as well as being one of the most powerful members in his clan’s history. Together with his brother, Madara, he trained daily to hone his skills. On the other hand, they both possessed exceptional Chakra, even for the Uchiha. His prowess allowed him to fight equally against Tobirama, who was considered the fastest shinobi of his time.
In the anime, Izuna was shown to be a great user of the Fire Release, being able to perform the Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu with the necessary power to counter Tobirama’s water dragon, which, at the time, was known to be one of the best users of the Water Element.
Izuna, along with Madara, became the first Uchiha to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan. His eyes took on the appearance of three bars, stretching across his pupil. The new abilities acquired by Izuna were such that together with Madara, he took the leadership of the Uchiha Clan.
From a young age, Izuna wielded a basic sword, hinting that he possessed some mastery and knowledge of Kenjutsu, as well as being able to stand up to Tobirama Senju, who was another highly skilled user in this area.
4. Itachi Uchiha
From an early age, Itachi was quiet and shrewd, showing noticeable maturity for his age and knowledge of how to deal with any situation. At the same time, Itachi was still quite naïve as a child in many real-world scenarios, and as such was willing to learn from his peers on how to differentiate certain situations. He lived at a distance, observing people and ideas without getting directly involved so that he could fully understand them.
Itachi Uchiha was considered a genius in his village, even within the famous Uchiha clan, adept in combat. He was able to effortlessly learn a new jutsu from mere observation and quickly rose through the various ninja ranks. His prowess rivaled Shisui Uchiha, who was considered the strongest Uchiha of his time. He was particularly versatile: he excelled in taijutsu, ninjutsu, seals, and genjutsu and won praise from his allies and enemies.
Orochimaru, one of Konoha’s Three Legendary Ninjas, openly admitted that Itachi was stronger than him. Tobi reveals to Sasuke that, although weakened by illness, Itachi could have killed him during their fight if he wished. Even while holding back, a team of jônin was pushed back into their entrenchment by the latter.
3. Obito Uchiha/Tobi
During his time as a Konoha ninja, Obito’s abilities were average at best, struggling to match his Academy comrades. Determined to improve, he trained for several months and eventually became a chūnin. Madara saw great potential in Obito and therefore chose him as his disciple. Madara’s hopes proved right, as, under her tutelage, Obito greatly enhanced his late-blooming abilities, becoming a copycat of Madara in his prime.
At the age of 14, Obito issued a challenge to the Fourth Hokage and nearly destroyed Konoha. As an adult, he defeated two of the most talented Root ninjas, killed Konan, and held his own in one-on-one combat with Naruto, Killer B, Guy, and Kakashi. As Shinju’s jinchūriki, Obito’s power exceeded even Hashirama Senju’s, he was able to effortlessly battle three powerful Hokage, overwhelm both Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, as well as the entire forces of the army. Shinobi, with minimal effort.
2. Madara Uchiha
Madara is described by many as a confident and proud man, looking down on his enemies such as Ōnoki, both after his resurrection and in the past, as well as not being afraid of Mei Terumī’s jutsus.
However, sometimes, he praises the abilities of others, such as Mei’s abilities and also A’s and his Lightning Release Armor, also Gaara and Ōnoki, for their impressive defense, he also praises them for being able to put an end to his first meteorite, as well as praising Naruto, for countering his Wood Release attack.
Also, he has a habit of referring to fighting as “dance”. As an Uchiha, Madara has an extreme and cruel hatred towards the Senju Clan and Konoha, as he is a descendant of Madara’s older brother, who was not approved to have been the successor of the Sage of Six Paths. This hatred was compounded, when the town chose Hashirama Senju to be Hokage, instead of him.
1. Sasuke Uchiha
Sasuke is able to understand and practice ninja techniques with ease. In addition, being a member of his clan, he is the possessor of a line of succession technique known as the Sharingan, which provides him with a wide variety of advantages in battle.
After the death of Itachi, Sasuke develops the Mangekyō Sharingan, an evolved form of the Sharingan with which he can perform techniques of a higher level, such as the Amaterasu, which consists of generating powerful black flames that consume everything in their path.
He also uses the Tsukuyomi, a powerful illusory jutsu, as well as the Susano’o, a large skeletal creature that progressively becomes a flaming warrior that protects its summoner and fights for him. Before he escapes from the village, his sensei, Kakashi Hatake, teaches him Chidori, a technique that consists of a series of chakra rays accumulating in the hand.
