The Seven Warlords of the Sea, whose full title was Seven Royal Warlords of the Sea, were seven powerful pirates allied with the World Government, which gave them a “pardon” for all their crimes. But, they also proved to be problematic. They were powerful, no doubt, and while they were loyal to the World Government, they still remained pirates, and it was impossible for the World Government to properly control them and count on them in that aspect. This is why the organization was abandoned but not completely disregarded. Namely, as the final saga revealed, Dr. Vegapunk created new Pacifista clones based on the old Warlords, enhancing them with King’s Lunarian blood. These clones are called the Seraphim.

In this article, we are going to present the Seraphim to you. Four have so far been revealed, while the remaining three are supposed to be revealed in the upcoming One Piece Chapter 1086 of the manga. This article will tell you all about them, all that is known, at least, and will present each Seraphim individually.

The Seraphim were created to replace the Seven Warlords of the Sea

In a very expensive process, the Seraphim were created by Dr. Vegapunk to replace the Seven Warriors of the Sea, as they proved to be quite unreliable. They are, like the Pacifista, cyborgs who were created to serve as living weapons, which is why they are so blindly loyal and listen to commands without any hesitation or restraint; the Marines sometimes have trouble controlling them, as they completely disregard everything once they are given a command to attack, not even caring for their own. They are also usually silent.

They are created in a very specific manner. Namely, they go through a process of extremely accelerated growth, and they are infused with both material from the original Seven Warlords, which accounts for their appearance, but also with King’s Lunarian blood, which gives them their specific dark skin tone, black wings, and white hair.

They are also infused with a special substance called Green Blood, which can be infused with the Lineage Factor of a Paramecia-type user, allowing that Seraphim to emulate the Devil Fruit abilities of the said user. In short, they are actually a combination of a Pacifista, a Warlord of the Sea, and a Lunarian, all with the addition of the Green Blood substance.

As we have said, they were created to be the perfect weapons – strong yet reliable, as they are cyborgs and will blindly obey the World Government and its demands. This is what makes them so dangerous, alongside the fact that they will simply rush into a battle head-on, disregarding their own safety and the safety of their own allies. And while the Seraphim look mostly like the original Warlords, they are not completely identical, both due to the Lunarian additions and also because they look more childlike than the original Warlords, although they seem to be much more powerful than them.

As far as it is known, Vegapunk created seven of them.

The Seven Seraphim

As we have said, there are seven Seraphim, as far as it is known, as they have been made as counterparts of the Seven Warlords. The Seraphim are intended to become one of the Three Great Powers in the world of One Piece. And while they are made to resemble the Warlords, they bear different names, although it is obvious whom they are based on. Here they are:

S-Bear

S-Bear is, of course, modeled after Bartholomew Kuma, the strongest known Pacifista. He looks like a child version of Kuma but is exceptionally strong. He has the body of a Pacifista, just like Kuma, he is able to manipulate fire, which is an exceptional feat if you ask us, and he is also able to use the powers of the Nikyu Nikyu no Mi, which are enhanced, thanks to the Green Blood substance that S-Beat was infused with.

S-Snake

Obviously, S-Snake is a Seraphim clone of Boa Hancock. Although interesting, S-Snake actually looks like Boa when she was a child, alongside the changes due to the Lunarian blood and the fact that she is a clone. The name is a reference to Boa’s family history. Like the others, she has the body of a Pacifista; although it doesn’t look like she does, she can manipulate fire and is able to use the powers of the Mero Mero no Mi.

S-Hawk

S-Hawk is a young boy based on Dracule Mihawk who looks like a child version of the famous swordsman. He is one of the more dangerous Serpahims in the group. Unlike the others, he does not have the powers of a Devil Fruit, as Mihawk himself never ate one, but he is an excellent swordsman, just like Mihawk. He also has a Pacifista body and can manipulate fire.

S-Shark

S-Shark is based on Jinbe, one of the members of Luffy’s crew and also a former Warlord of the Sea. He looks a lot like Jinbe, although he looks like a child version of him with typical Lunarian additions, like all of the other Seraphims. He also has a Pacifista body, and he actually looks like he does. He can manipulate fire, but he has no Devil Fruit powers; still, just as S-Hawk is a great swordsman, S-Shark knows Fish-Man karate, which makes him extremely dangerous.

Crocodile Seraphim

At this moment, the Seraphim clone of Sir Crocodile has not been revealed, but it will supposedly be revealed in Chapter 1086. We don’t know what he will look like, but we assume that he will use the powers of the Suna Suna no Mi.

Gecko Moria Seraphim

This one is also supposedly going to be revealed in Chapter 1086, so we don’t know what he is going to look like. Aside from all the other additions, he is probably going to use the powers of the Kage Kage no Mi.

Donquixote Doflamingo Seraphim

This is supposedly going to be the final Seraphim, and he will probably look like a kid Doflamingo. Aside from all the other additions, he is probably going to be able to use the powers of the Ito Ito no Mi.
