All 12 of Goku’s and Vegeta’s Fusions, Ranked by Epicness
Fusion refers to the method by which two people come together to form a single body, which is more powerful than the two people separately. There are several methods to merge. The opposite technique is fission. Although it wasn’t in the initial phases of Toriyama’s Dragon Ball manga, fusion became a very important aspect of the series later. Now, most characters have had at least one fusion, with some of the fusions being canon, while others were just gimmick fusions introduced in various derived works.
In this article, as it should be, we will talk about Son Goku and Vegeta, two of the series’ most prominent characters. In this article, we will list all their individual (and mutual) fusions as they appear in the main series and the derived materials. We will tell you about each fusion, as well as their powers, as they will be ranked based on their epicness and popularity. Enjoy!
12. Gorillin (Goku + Krillin)
Gorillin is the EX-FUsion originated by the union of Goku and Krillin using the Metamo-Ring, debuting in Dragon Ball Fusions. Gorillin is a boy with bristly black hair. He is without a nose (like Krillin) and has six points on his forehead, just like Krillin. He has round black eyes like Goku’s. He wears the Turtle School Uniform, with the change that it has red stripes that go through his entire body. He also has the Metamo Ring on his left arm, and being half Saiyan; he has a Tail.
11. Coohan (Goku + Gohan)
Coohan is the Fusion-EX originated from the union of Son Goku and his son Son Gohan through the use of the Metamo Ring. He is a half-breed Saiyan/Human who appears for the first and only time in the 3DS video game Dragon Ball Fusions. His facial features are a mix between those of Goku and Gohan. He has spiky hair, just like the latter. He wears the Whis Gi with the difference that it has a black lining. He also possesses the pants from Piccolo’s outfit that Gohan used to wear. Kuhan emerged as the EX-Fusion between Son Goku and Son Gohan by joining through the Metamo Ring invented by the Capsule Corporation.
10. Barlot (Goku + Bardock)
Barlot is the EX-Fusion that originated from the union between Bardock and his son Kakarot (Son Goku) through the use of the Metamo Ring. He is a Saiyan fusion that appears for the first and only time in the Dragon Ball Fusions game. Barlot has Bardock’s characteristics mostly, such as his trademark clothing and physical features, a scar on his left cheek, his blood-stained red scarf, and a Saiyan armor similar to the one Bardock wears but this time white and orange in color.
Barlot is always shown with a confident smile on his face, showing that he is not afraid of any opponent, a quality that both father and son have in common. Like Goku, Barlot is a Saiyan fusion with a pure heart.
9. Den-Goku (Goku + Dende)
Den-Goku is a hypothetical fusion between Goku and Dende, achieved through the Potara Earrings. Along with the Gokule Fusion, this fusion was only envisioned by Son Goku in the Majin Buu Saga of the anime when he was analyzing who he should fuse with to defeat Super Buu. Den-Goku thus never appeared in the series since Goku would end up fusing with Vegeta to form Vegito. However, the fusion is a character available in the Dragon Ball Z Collectible Card Game, where he was also named.
Den-Goku’s appearance is similar to Goku’s body, but the skin is green like Dende’s, and even the color of his muscles in Namek form is shown, but Den-Goku’s head has Goku’s hair and features. Den-Goku also has Dende’s antennae, wears Goku’s clothes, including a red vest, and is presumed to be very weak since he is the fusion of Goku and a non-fighter.
8. Gorus (Goku + Beerus)
Gorus is the EX-Fusion from the union between Son Goku and Beerus through the use of the Metamo Ring. He is a Saiyan/God who appears for the first and only time in the Dragon Ball Fusions video game. Most of his facial aspects are those of Goku, while his skin is purple just like Beerus’s, and he even wears part of his robe combined with gold pants and ornaments with Goku’s Gi and boots.
His hair is the same as Goku’s, and he also has Beerus’ cat ears. Gorus emerges as the EX-Fusion between Son Goku and Beerus by joining through the Metamo Ring invented by the Capsule Corporation. He is one of the participants in the Jikuuichi Budokai.
7. Karoly (Goku + Broly, EX-Fusion)
Karoly is the EX-Fusion that originated from the union between Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan, and his rival Kakarot (Son Goku) in his Super Saiyan state through the use of the Metamo Ring. He is a Saiyan fusion who appears for the first and only time in the Dragon Ball Fusions 3DS video game.
6. Ultra Fusion (Tekka + Goku, Goten, Trunks, and Pan or 4 others)
The Ultra Fusion is the fusion caused by the union between Tekka and four other beings through the Fusion Dance of five; in the promotional materials of Dragon Ball Fusions, he is always presented as the Fusion of a young Son Goku, Son Pan GT, young Trunks, and Son Gotten.
He is a hermaphrodite half-breed Saiyan/Human who appears for the first and only time in the 3DS video game Dragon Ball Fusions. He is of tall stature. He possesses several red pieces of cloth and a Metamoran vest. When formed, the Ultra Fusion appears in a form with the traits of Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan Blue. Still, in other promotional materials, it appears with the traits of a Super Saiyan 4 but gold in color.
5. Vegenks (Vegeta + Future Trunks, EX-Fusion)
Vegenks is the Fusion-EX originating from the union between Vegeta and the alternate future version of his son Trunks via the Metamo Ring. He is a half-breed Saiyan/Human who appears for the first and only time in the 3DS video game Dragon Ball Fusions. He has facial features mixed between those of Vegeta and Trunks, with the former predominating.
He has purple hair raised at the back with two strands and black at the back. His eyebrows are purple, and his eyes are light blue. Vegenks has the pants that Vegeta wears during the Resurrection of F Arc, while on his torso, he wears a jacket similar to the one used by Future Trunks, only white and gold.
4. Gokule (Goku + Mr. Satan)
Gokule is the fusion of Goku and Mr. Satan through the Potala Earrings. His only appearance in the series was during a scene where Goku imagined such a fusion. His personality is like that of Mr. Satan; he strikes ridiculous poses and behaves smugly in front of his opponents, displaying new powers. He is stronger than Goku alone, though obviously much weaker than his and Vegeta’s fusions.
3. Veku (Vegeta + Goku, failed)
Veku, a failed fusion, was created when Goku and Vegeta performed the Fusion Dance wrong, disrupting the union process and bringing their power and talents to the lowest possible level.
He is identical to Gogeta, but shorter, much heavier, and immensely weaker. Throughout his brief debut, he did not demonstrate any particular skills other than ki control, resilience to Janemba’s strikes, and speed (while running).
A good part of his “attacks” consisted of blows that he managed to connect by stumbling or pure carelessness. In Dragon Ball Super: Broly, this erroneous fusion is caused in the first place when Vegeta misinterprets Piccolo and Goku’s instructions on the steps required for the Fusion Dance to work, forcing both of them to perform it again, waiting 30 minutes to do it while Freeza distracts Broly.
2. Vegito (Vegeta + Goku, Potara Fusion)
Vegito is the Fusion created when Goku and Vegeta fused with the Potara Earrings. In order to battle Super Buu, he appears in both the base state and as Super Vegito (Gohan Absorbed). He undid the fusion by entering Buu’s interior because he had reached his strength limit for the day. He transforms into Vegito Blue, Goku’s most potent combined form, outperforming Fusion Zamasu from Dragon Ball Super.
1. Gogeta (Vegeta + Goku, Metamoran Fusion)
Gogeta is the fusion resulting from the union of Goku and Vegeta through the Fusion Dance. His first appearance was in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn, where it was used to defeat Janemba, and would later appear in Dragon Ball GT when it was combined with Super Saiyan 4 transformation in his battle against Yi Xing Long.
A Super version was introduced later, being the Saiyan fusion born through the union between Son Goku and Vegeta when performing the Fusion Dance of the Metamorans. He is considered to be the reboot and primary equivalent of Gogeta, previously seen in the Dragon Ball Z movies and the Dragon Ball GT anime, who first appears as a character in the movie Dragon Ball Super: Broly.
