How did Minato Namikaze die?

The Nine-Tails’ attack coincided with the birth of the son of Kushina Uzumaki, the beast’s second Jinchūriki, named Naruto on the night of October 10. As the previous jinchūriki’s seal was nearly broken during the birth, the village took multiple precautions, which were carried out in secret, with Biwako Sarutobi, the Third Hokage’s wife, as their midwife, some ANBU as security, and with Minato maintaining the seal of the four symbols, alongside one of the mightiest and most secret barriers that the village had to protect them.

Tobi ultimately found the location, killed the ANBU and Biwako, and kidnapped the newborn Naruto. Tobi told Minato to run away from Kushina while holding Naruto in his clutches. As the seal started to deteriorate, Minato made an effort to reason with Tobi. Minato was told by Kushina that he ought to defend Naruto. Tobi made an attempt to stab Naruto at that same moment. Minato was able to yank Naruto away before the knife could cut him. Unexpectedly, the blanket Naruto was wrapped in had explosive tags all over it, thus he was forced to perform the Flying Thunder God Technique to get the blast away from Naruto and Kushina.

Tobi employs a method to free the Nine-Tails from Kushina while Minato is abroad. He sped up the extraction by pointing out that the Flying Thunder God Jutsu seal is also written on the Nine-Tails seal, thus Minato will be there shortly to try to save Kushina. Tobi utilized his Sharingan to take command of the Nine-Tails as it broke free from the seal. Due to the Demon being removed from his body, Kushina was barely alive when Tobi urged him to leave Konoha alone. This prevented Tobi from starting his plan to destroy Konoha. Tobi then ordered the Nine-Tails to attack her prior Jinchūriki, but her husband’s appearance saved her from being trampled under the monster’s powerful legs.

Before Minato could leave to defend the Konoha village, she fled quickly and joined Naruto in a hidden place. The Nine-Tails’ power at the time was so tremendous that a young Itachi Uchiha and numerous other shinobi could detect him even from outside the town. Under cover of darkness, Tobi crept into the village and, using the Summoning Technique, unexpectedly called the beast into the community. When the Shinobi and the villagers saw the Nine-Tails, they were terrified because it started wreaking havoc and killing people right away. Even before the ANBU alerts him to the attack, Minato begins to prepare for battle as soon as he detects the familiar might and malice. The shinobi get ready to defend the village in a flash.

The Nine-Tails swiftly latches onto Minato when he climbs to the top of the Hokage Monument and attempts to kill him using the Tailed Beast Bomb. The other shinobi become aware of Minato’s presence as he teleports the blast away from the settlement using a space-time jutsu. Tobi teleports to Minato’s location and attempts to use his own jutsu on him before Minato has time to alert the Third about what has happened with Kushina. Minato narrowly escapes by using his Flying Thunder God jutsu to teleport away from the village.

After assessing his abilities, Minato asked Obito if he was Madara Uchiha. Obito had followed him. After providing a conclusive response, Minato is attacked by Obito as they each use unique space-time strategies to avoid capturing him. During the battle, Minato managed to hit Tobi using a Rasengan and then toss one of his kunai at him, impaling his skull. This gave Minato the chance to teleport behind Tobi and strike him. Tobi attempted to flee, but Minato teleported next to him after putting the Thunder God Jutsu seal on him with his previous blow.

The Nine-Tails are eventually released from Tobi’s control as Minato places another seal on him. Minato is a deserving Hokage, according to Tobi, but once he takes control of the Nine-Tails and the world, everyone will have to bow to his rule. While Minato teleports back to the village, Tobi leaves. The Nine-Tails proceeded to slaughter Konoha even though Tobi was no longer in charge of them. But his ninja soon forced him outside of Konoha’s defenses. The beast was pushed back even further as a result of the Third Hokage’s and other shinobi’s relentless assault on it. A young Iruka Umino was shielded from the Nine-Tails during this period by his mother, who was also attempting to drive the monster away.

Iruka remained in the fight against his father’s orders to leave because he was desperate to defend his mother. However, other shinobi soon hauled him out of the conflict. In order for future generations to maintain their faith in the Will of Fire, certain young people from the conflict between Konoha and the Nine-Tails were also jailed. When Minato reached the settlement, he was appalled at the devastation. The Fourth then called forth Gamabunta to fend off the beast for a minute just as the Nine-Tails were about to launch another bomb into the village. In order to avoid further injuries, Minato takes advantage of the situation and escapes the village with Kurama, himself, and the explosion.

He ran into Kushina, who uses her chakra to paralyze Kurama. When Minato learns that Kushina intends to lock herself to the Nine-Tails and take him with her when she passes away, Minato devises a different strategy because he is aware that the Fox, without a host, will eventually be awakened and transformed into a beast, posing a threat to Konoha once more. Minato imagines employing the Death Demon Consuming Seal to seal the Yin chakra of the Nine-Tails within himself, risking his life in the process.

Minato, who locks Nine-Tails within himself, uses the Eight Trigrams Sealing Style to enclose Naruto’s Yang half. The reason given by the young Hokage was that he thought Tobi would herald a terrible catastrophe in the near future and that Naruto would eventually require the strength of the Nine-Tails to stop him. Additionally, Minato intends to implant some of his son with his and his wife’s chakra. This would act as a protection to stop the Nine-Tails from being released as well as a help to Naruto in case he ever tried to fully control the chakra of the beast again.

Hiruzen and a few other shinobi finally find Minato at some point, they discover him inside a barrier with Kushina and Kurama. In opposition to the use of her son as a host for the beast, Kushina begged Minato to stay alive and teach Naruto, but Minato managed to convince her that his sacrifice was not just for the village’s good, but for the village’s good. This also results from Naruto. The Nine-Tails’ size is substantially reduced as Minato seals half of the beast’s chakra within himself as Kushina immobilizes the Nine-Tails.

Shortly after, Minato places Naruto on the throne required for the Eight Trigrams Sealing Style. The Nine-Tails attempted to kill Naruto as they were about to seal it once more. To block the claw before it reached Naruto, Kushina and Minato both moved in front of him; the claw pierced through Naruto’s torso instead. Kushina tells her son how she wanted him to live so that she would never forget who he is and how they love him. Minato entrusted the key to the seal to Gerotora to give to Jiraiya. After telling him to pay attention to what his mother had to say about him, Minato had his son seal the nine tails.
