My Hero Academia watch order (fully explained):

1. Season 1: My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia Watch Order 2021 (Anime Series And Movies)

The series’ first season is its foundation. Season 1 is essential to fully grasp the series. The first season was released in 2016. It allows you to grasp the whole plot and inspires you with the smile of the man who saves lives.

This season lets you see the life of Izuku Midoriya, who desperately wants to be a hero. However, he discovers that he is one of the very few people of his generation who is born without a “Quirk”. All of the plots revolve around his fate.

The plot thickens in the remaining episodes which allows Izuku to understand his Quirk and to do his best. He also tries to save the day and become the person he always wanted to be.

The entire season is consisting of 13 episodes as follows:

  1. Episode 1: Izuku Midoriya: Origin

My Hero Academia Watch Order

Season 1 includes a 25-minute OVA that was released on November 27, 2016. This OVA features Izuku as a member of class 1-A at the training school. The class is trying to finish their training when they discover a villain. But the real question is, are the students willing to fight back?

3. My Hero Academia 2: Hero Note

It is a recap of season 1. I think it does a good job of explaining the main events.
These are the best soundtracks, and the main characters are featured. There was not much new animation.

It is a good reminder for those who have seen season 1 and a quick one at that. However, it does not take away from the most memorable scenes of season 1.

Let me conclude by saying that if you don’t want to watch a complete season 1 before watching season 2 then I think this episode is a good way to get in the mood for season 2.
