‘One Piece’: Who Is Ethanbaron V. Nasujuro? Explained!
Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece series is known for introducing us to a variety of amazing characters. Most have been grouped in one way or another, usually belonging to some organizations rather than smaller groups or pirate crews. One such group is known as the Five Elders, and they are a group of five old World Nobles who seem to have enormous influence in the World Government, as they seem to be directly responsible to Imu and no one else. Until recently, the names of the Five Elders and their roles have not been known, but with the final saga finally evolving, we’re finally getting what we’ve been waiting for for years. In this article, we will present one of the Five Elders, the bald guy Ethanbaron V. Nasujuro.
Ethanbaron V. Nasujuro is one of the Five Elders in One Piece. He is the bald old man wearing glasses, and as far as we know, he is the Warrior God of Finance, i.e., the Elder that is in charge of the World Government’s financial dealings. Not much is known about his backstory at this moment, but we assume that Oda is going to provide us with even more details in the future. His name is a reference to Venus, just like every other Elder has such a reference in their name.
The rest of this article will be about Ethanbaron V. Nasujuro, his backstory, and his role in the world of Oda’s One Piece series. We will introduce you to his history and tell you what exactly happened to him, how he developed as a character, and tell you where Ethanbaron V. Nasujuro is now, and what he is doing in the current narrative of the manga. This article will contain some spoilers, so if you’re not fully up-to-date with everything, you have been warned.
Saint Ethanbaron V. Nasujuro is one of the Five Elders, the one in charge of finances
Really, it has become obvious that Oda’s final One Piece saga promises to be an epic one because not only will many unanswered questions be resolved in due time, but the original lore will also be significantly expanded upon, from what we see. In this post, we’ll concentrate on recent developments and interesting information related to the Five Elders and the new information we’ve received related to these five mysterious geezers. But allow us to do a quick recap.
The Five Elders represent the World Government’s highest authority. They comprise five individuals who oversee the World Government’s political structure. As a result, they effectively control most of the world (anywhere where their authority is recognized, at least). Pirates like the Emperors are out of their authority and jurisdiction in the New World.
They are the five men who control the Cipher Pol, the Marines, and the Seven Warlords of the Sea, but also, as was revealed recently, the God’s Knights. The only person they seem to answer to is Imu, the mysterious ruler of the World Government.
It is unknown how powerful these five geezers are, but they have enormous political power and can control a lot of what is happening in the world. They have immense influence, and while we don’t know if they have any other powers, they are certainly a power to be reckoned with. Due to their actions, and especially their affiliations, they are among the series’ main antagonists. They are also the highest-ranking Celestial Dragons, having authority over the rest of them.
Until recently, their identities and origins have not been revealed in a clear and detailed fashion, so we only had some crumbs and details to work with, but this changed recently, like many other things in the series. Namely, in the most recent chapters of the series, we finally found out the names of the Five Elders and their roles in the World Government. They are:
- The Warrior God of Scientific Defense, Saint Jaygarcia Saturn (scarred one)
- The Warrior God of Agriculture, Saint Shepherd Ju Peter (blonde one)
- The Warrior God of Finance, Saint Ethanbaron V. Nasujuro (bald guy with glasses)
- The Warrior God of Legal Affairs, Saint Topman Valkyrie (big mustache guy)
- The Warrior God of Environment, Saint Marcus Mars (bearded guy)
The specific member we are going to talk about here is the Warrior God of Finance, Saint Ethanbaron V. Nasujuro, formerly known as the “bald guy wearing glasses.” Saint Ethanbaron V. Nasujuro is the Eldero who wanted a replacement to take Crocodile’s place in the Seven Warlords of the Sea, and he is the one who informs the Marines that Shanks and Whitebeard have successfully met; both of these events happened much earlier in the story.
After the Battle of Marineford, he was sharpening his sword while making remarks on the Three Great Powers’ demise, how to fill the three remaining spots in the Seven Warlords of the Sea, and how the letter “D.” stands for “danger” in the world.
Aside from this, not much is known about him, still. Oda has revealed more information about each of the Elders, but we assume that there is more to come. We’ll probably find out why they are called like they are, how they became the Five Elders, and how powerful they actually are. Aside from being a financial genius, Saint Ethanbaron V. Nasujuro seems skilled with the sword, but we don’t know if the blade is just for show or if he has any actual skills with it.
Be that as it may, this is everything we know about Saint Ethanbaron V. Nasujuro at this moment, and we are happy to say that we hope that more information is definitely going to arrive soon, as it seems that Oda has meticulously planned out the whole story, so we think we’re in for a proper treat in the upcoming chapters of One Piece.
