Rumors Shed Light on the Possible Members of the Next Avengers

We haven’t seen the full Avengers team in action since ‘Endgame.’ Since then, most members are either gone, doing their own thing, or still recovering from the heavy hits they took in the last few phases of the MCU.
There are two new Avengers movies in the works: ‘Avengers 5,’ also known as ‘Kang Dynasty,’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars,’ which fans hope will draw from the comics. People are speculating a lot about who will be in the new Avengers, especially with the bunch of new superheroes introduced in the last phase and more expected in upcoming projects. There’s also a ‘Young Avengers’ movie in development, showing the next generation of heroes getting ready to take over from the older ones.
During a recent Discord Q&A, Alex Perez from Cosmic Circus, a reliable insider known for providing truthful information, shared details about what we can anticipate from the upcoming Avengers team.
The Avengers are “disassembled” so to speak. Every hero is currently out doing their own thing. Captain America has his own team with Falcon. Bucky will be busy handling the Thunderbolts. She-Hulk’s busy being a lawyer. Doctor Strange is off on his own with Clea. Thor’s off-world with Gorr’s daughter. Valkyrie is taking care of New Asgard. Scott is spending time with his family. The Scarlet Witch is resting. Vision is on a journey of self-exploration. Hawkeye’s retired. The only potentially “active” Avengers on the roster right now are Wong, Captain Marvel, Bruce Banner, Shang-Chi and Katy.
Captain America and Falcon are set to star in their own movie next year called ‘Brave New World.’ Bucky is also slated for a significant role ‘Thunderbolts,’ although specifics about the movie are scarce. Thor has a project in the works, but Taika Waititi confirmed he won’t be returning to direct it. Valkyrie recently appeared in a minor role in ‘The Marvels.’ Given the lukewarm reception of ‘Quantumania,’ the likelihood of another ‘Ant-Man’ sequel is slim, as it is for the next ‘Captain Marvel’ movie. The fate of Scarlet Witch remains uncertain, but indications suggest she’s alive.
‘Shang-Chi’ also has a project in development, rumored to involve time travel and featuring Iron Fist. The challenge now is how to bring these heroes together again, likely in a single movie, and Perez provided an answer to that.
However, there will be a story line that will force multiple heroes to unite. According to some sources, there is an interest from Marvel in developing a ‘World War Hulk’ project, as a way to set up multiple street-level heroes as part of the Avengers roster to prepare them for the impending battle with Kang.
This lines up with a recent rumor we discussed about a ‘World War Hulk’ movie potentially being reworked into an Avengers project. This comes despite Ruffalo previously stating that Hulk won’t have his own movie. He initially confirmed his role in ‘New World Order’ but then denied it shortly after.
