League of Legends also referred to as just “LoL” is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) developed and published by Riot Games. Like many other games of the genre League of Legends was inspired by Defense of the Ancients modded custom map for Warcraft 3. The game is among the most popular game franchise in the world and eventually has spawned additional video games, tv series set in its universe, various merchandise, collectible card game, and many other fictional works.
