Who is Carrot in One Piece?

Sometime in her youth, Carrot joined the Inuarashi Musketeer Squad and was trained in fencing by Sicilian. However, apparently, she lacked talent with the use of weapons, Pedro, noticing this, decided to give her a pair of gloves instead, which became her main weapon in battle. When the Beast Pirates led by Jack attacked Zou in search of Raizo, Carrot and the rest of Inuarashi’s Musketeer Squad fought them until 18:00 PM, where Inuarashi ordered them to retreat to be relieved by Nekomamushi and the Guardians in battle.

The battle against the Beasts Pirates lasted for five days. Even though the minks had the upper hand, they were unable to defeat Jack. On the fifth day of the battle, the Calamity lost his patience and used Caesar’s gas weapon, leaving the mink tribe defeated at the hands of the pirate. The next day, Jack left Zou after learning of Doflamingo’s capture and defeat.

Later, the minks were saved when Sanji and his group arrived at Zou. After Capone Bege kidnapped Sanji and Caesar, Nekomamushi told Carrot and Wanda to keep quiet about the incident. Carrot first appeared spying on Zoro, Law, Usopp, Franky, and Robin once they arrived at Zou, wondering what happened to Bariete. She finally decided to attack the intruders, having a brief confrontation with Zoro in which she managed to electrocute him with his claws.

However, Wanda interrupted the battle and informed Carrot that they were not the people she was looking for. She jumped into the air to study the situation. After telling Wanda about it, she left in a hurry. Later, they reached the Whale Forest and stopped the confrontation between Luffy and Roddy by appeasing the Guardians. Due to the eruption of rain, Wanda invited Luffy to ride Wany together with her and Carrot.

Carrot later hid in the Thousand Sunny, wanting to go on an adventure, and revealed herself to Sanji’s rescue team after they were away from Zou. The team was surprised to see her on board as she greeted everyone on the ship. When Pedro said they should head back, Carrot asked them to let her go along. Vowing not to cause any trouble for the group, Carrot was allowed to join them.

Sanji’s rescue team then found out in a newspaper about the Blackbeard Pirates’ attack on the Revolutionary Army’s headquarters in Baltigo, surprising everyone on board. After going through a storm, Luffy introduced his cooking, which was inedible. Luffy then admitted that he used up all the food they had and the group found themselves in a food shortage crisis.

A couple of days later, Carrot and the rest of the group were starved from lack of food and overheated as they passed through the boiling water but were saved from starvation when Luffy managed to catch a giant fish. After Luffy succumbed to food poisoning due to eating the fish’s lethally toxic skin, Carrot and the others ate a meal prepared by Nami using Sanji’s recipe. She then helped the Straw Hats during the Whole Cake Island Arc.

During the Wano Country Arc, Carrot fell on some rubble as soon as it enters the ruins of Oden Castle. When Kin’emon reveals that they have come from twenty years ago, the mink is shocked and asks him to explain himself better. The alliance members then honor the tombs at the ruins, which is why they are outside when Kaido arrives. He is shown when Carrot, Wanda, and other minks steal food after digging an underground passage.

Carrot and Wanda watch the clash between the Atamayama thieves and the pirates led by Hold’em. On the day of the fire festival, she spots the port of Onigashima. Once the invasion begins, Carrot and Nami seduce some members of the Beats Pirates so that the group can continue. We later see Carrot, Nami, and Zeus captured by Big Mom and her homeys. Afterward, the two girls use a combined attack against the homeys, and the scene where they defeat them is shown.

Carrot goes to help Wanda, who is leading a group of minks to the castle entrance to prevent the enemies from entering, before walking away as she hears Perospero’s voice. Once he reaches the latter, he hesitates to transform into a sulong, but he strengthens himself thanks to Wanda’s words. The scene where the two transforms is shown and then they grab Marco when Big Mom throws him at them.

Perospero covers Carrot and Wanda with his syrup. The first, however, manages to free herself, then resorts to the same to free her friend and attack the pirate, damaging his created arm. He sees the minister settle the latter and trap Wanda in a network of syrup, then making her fall on a wall of the same material, which shatters, defeating her.

Then Carrot attacks the pirate who defends himself with syrup armor, which the mink manages to overcome. When she tries to attack him again, his sulong form disappears as the moon is partially covered by clouds. She later left the Straw Hats and returned to her home, the Mokomo Dukedom, remaining an ally of Luffy and his friends.

How old is Carrot in One Piece?

The Vivre Card – One Piece Visual Dictionary, the sixth overall One Piece handbook, which came out in 2018, revealed some information about Carrot, including the fact that she is 15 years old, making her one of the younger characters in the franchise. We also know that her birthday is on May 24th.

Does Carrot join the Straw Hats?

She is an ally of the Straw Hat Pirates during the Whole Cake Island Saga and Wano Country Arc, where she joined the Sanji Retrieval Team to rescue Sanji on Whole Cake Island and continued to travel with the crew to Wano Country. She was, thus, an unofficial member of the Straw Hat Pirates, but she never actually joined them like the other crew members. After the Straw Hats completed their mission in Wano Country, Carrot left them – remaining an ally, though – and went back to her Dukedom, where she was named leader.

Does Carrot like Luffy?

Carrot and Luffy are one of the more popular ships in the world of One Piece, although it is a highly unlikely one. Namely, Carrot grew fond of the whole Straw Hats crew as she was their friend and ally during two arcs. She particularly liked Sanji’s cooking and with time, she grew fond of Luffy and his personality.

But from what it seems from our point of view, Carrot never really liked Luffy in a romantic way. She likes him as a friend because he cares for her and wants to protect her, while – at the same time – liking his fun personality. They are quirky and are, in that aspect, similar, both of them, which is why it makes sense for her to actually be close to him but there is no evidence of any romantic feelings between them.

Why was Carrot biting Luffy?

The answer to this question is actually hidden within the analysis of Carrot’s personality. Carrot is impulsive, naive, affectionate and obviously enjoys stealth games. She seems to want to defend her territory. She is very protective of her country and very aggressive towards intruders. She refers to the man as a second-rate Mink.

Carrot is also protective of the people she cares about; when the Straw Hats were confronted by Germa 66, Carrot was ready to fight the army in order to protect them. She can also be very emotional; when Luffy is about to die from the poison, Carrot tells him not to die and kisses him crying once the poison is sucked out of him.

Like an ordinary rabbit, she likes to gnaw on things, including people like Luffy. She loves carrots to the point where her stuff for the trip to Whole Cake consists entirely of carrots. She also attacked Luffy when he ate one of her carrots. She also likes chocolate. Although wild and vicious when intruded, Carrot can be quickly calmed down if someone pats the top of her head.

Despite her status as a fighter, she seems to be naive about serious matters and the world beyond Zo. She was easily excited by events new to her. When she heard Luffy’s planning to go against Big Mom and ruin the wedding ceremony, she felt it would be interesting to take part, not realizing the extreme danger she would face.

Can Carrot use Haki in One Piece?

As far as it is known, Carrot cannot use any of the three types of Haki in One Piece. This might be changed later on, but from what we know at this moment, Carrot is not a Haki user. This is not strange, since Haki is a very powerful and complex skill that is used only by the strongest characters in the One Piece franchise.
