‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Reportedly Casts 4 Transgender Roles in Significant Parts

The upcoming MCU show, ‘Daredevil: Born Again,’ is highly anticipated. It will fully integrate Daredevil into the MCU and serve as a soft reboot for the character. While much of the story remains unknown, we do know that Murdock will establish a new law firm and intersect with Wilson Fisk, who is campaigning for mayor of New York.

The show faced challenges during development, including nearly being scrapped despite filming more than half of the episodes. Following the resolution of the SAG-AFTRA strike, the show took a new direction, with many actors from Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’ reprising their roles. Elden Henson’s Foggy, Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen, and Bernthal’s Punisher are set to return, with rumors suggesting Élodie Yung’s Elektra may also make an appearance.

Among the returning roles, there are also new ones yet to be introduced in the show. Daniel Richtman, a well-known insider, reported that the studio cast 4 transgender actors in ‘Daredevil: Born Again,’ with significant roles in an episode.

Since the plot of the show is largely unknown, it’s uncertain what roles the transgender talents will play and how they will tie into the overall storyline. Given that they are mentioned in connection to a single episode, it’s possible that Matt will represent them in a legal case. We’ll have to wait and see for more details.
