Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball series is one of the pivotal anime titles in the history of the medium. And while manga is also popular, anime has helped expand the cultural influence of Japanese animation when the West did not know much about anime. Now, the overall structure of the series isn’t overly complex, but there are a lot of different iterations of the series and fans are not always sure about the Dragon Ball canon. In order to help you a bit with the canon, we have decided to focus on Dragon Ball Super in this article, as we are going to bring you a complete list of arcs that form part of the Dragon Ball Super.

Dragon Ball Super arcs in order (fully explained)
This section is going to list all the major Dragon Ball Super manga and anime arcs and give you some basic info about their plots. The Dragon Ball Super arcs are going to be divided based on which source material they are taken from. The arcs are listed by the release date.
Now, since the Drago Ball Super manga itself wasn’t officially divided into arcs, but rather into sagas (which actually consist of arcs and mini-arcs), we are going to use a combined division from both the manga and the anime series to give you a proper overview of the series.
NOTE: Those arcs denoted with an asterisk (*) are anime-only arcs and are not considered canon.

This sighed in relief for a moment while the other was stunned. They were both fighting Moro, the Eater of Worlds, a powerful evil sorcerer and genocidal wizard who absorbs the life energy of planets to make himself stronger. Moro now set his target on a planet close to the one he was on, quickly draining all life from it and gathering it into a sphere of energy that he later consumed as food, becoming even more powerful than before.
Having broken his limits and increased his strength to the maximum, the sorcerer released a series of electric shocks around him. The South Kaio-shin barely realized what was happening, while the Great Kaio-shin admitted that they didn’t stand a chance against him. Just at that precise moment, two members of the Galactic Police, the former predecessor of the Galactic Patrol, went to the battlefield and recognized Moro, the planet eater, for the total extermination of the Iragi star system and the eradication of 320 planets in the universe.

Beerus and Vegeta look at them and Vegeta explains to the God of Destruction that he doesn’t intend to get Ultra Instinct as well but wants to overcome Goku in another way.
