And while Boruto: Naruto Next Generations never became as popular as Naruto, neither the manga, nor the anime, the next generation of Masashi Kishimoto’s characters does have a large fanbase that is eagerly following the events of both the manga and the anime. As you probably know by now, Boruto is primarily focused on the anime series, which has more than 200 episodes, while the manga is not even on Chapter 100. To honor that popularity, we have decided to dedicate this article to the characters from Boruto and their families.
What we are about to present to you is a wholly different list than the ones you are used to. Namely, this list is also going to be focused on the characters from Boruto, but the data we will give you will be solely about their personal lives. Namely, in this article, we will tell who married whom in Boruto and who the married couples of the series are.
Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyūga
In The Last: Naruto the Movie, Toneri returns, uses a transformation obtained by the Tenseigan and locks Hinata in a cage made of malleable spheres. After fighting Naruto and being defeated, Toneri’s eyes return to being Byakugan, so Hinata proceeds to remove them since they are Hanabi’s eyes. Toneri regrets it and stays behind as they head home, vowing not to let the Moon endanger Earth again. As they return through the same passage they used earlier, Hinata questions Naruto about the scarf he is wearing. He tells her that it was a gift from her mother and leaves Hinata jealous for having been jealous of her.
Hinata sobbed with happiness as she heard Naruto declare his desire to be with her forever. Naruto launches himself and Hinata to Earth, where they enjoy their first kiss as the passage collapses behind them. After the Fourth Shinobi World War was over, Hinata wed Naruto, and together they had two children, a son and a daughter, Boruto and Himawari Uzumaki. She once went to Neji Hyūga’s grave with her daughter Himawari to deliver him some flowers. Himawari inquired after planting the flowers if Hinata would be content with it; her mother replied that she shared the same name as the flowers and expressed her approval. Himawari was delighted and informed him that she wished to accompany her brother the following time.
Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno
The relationship between Sasuke and Sarada has been a complex and puzzling one. Their love was obvious from the very start, but their relationship was quite out of the ordinary. Sakura’s relationship with Sasuke also changes a lot throughout the series. After Sasuke leaves Konoha, Sakura pleads with Naruto to bring him back, believing that he is the only one capable of doing so, which he promises to do.
One day, at the village entrance, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi were there, as the Uchiha would go on a trip to see the world. After the Hokage said a few words to her, Sakura began to speak, asking if she was leaving since Tsunade was about to finish the prosthesis for his arm, made from Hashirama’s cells. Sasuke tells her that he has to see for himself what the world looks like, saying other things. Sakura asks him what he would say if she says that she wants to accompany him, to which the Uchiha responds by saying that it is a trip to atone for his sins and that she cannot get involved, proceeding to touch her forehead in the same way that his brother Itachi did to him.
He then left, saying that he would be back soon, and thanked Sakura for everything. Blushing, Sakura sees how Sasuke walks away from her, but she is happy because she knows he will return. The years passed after the end of the Fourth Shinobi World War, Sakura married Sasuke, and they had a daughter, Sarada Uchiha. The three of them live in a happy, albeit unconventional marriage, and the love story between Sasuke and Sakura has thus become one of the best and most beautiful ones in the series.
Temari Nara and Shikamaru Nara
In Shikamaru Hiden, upon learning of Shikamaru’s mission, she went to help him along with Ino and Chōji. Upon arriving in the Country of Silence, he made an epic entrance destroying one of the walls of Gengo’s palace, and they arrived just in time as Shikamaru was giving up, and for him to react, Temari slapped him again; Shikamaru reacted to the blow and decided to chase Gengo while Temari, Ino, and Chōji dealt with Sai, Ro, and Soku. Temari had a match with Soku, but despite Soku using his Chakra Needles, Temari came out on top. When everyone got out of Gengo’s Genjutsu, they ran to where Shikamaru was to see the final battle.
When it was all over, Temari went back to her village, but she was stopped by Shikamaru, who started talking to her about controlling the force of her blows, and she replied that she would do it every time Nara looked like an idiot and Shikamaru said that I count on you, leaving her amazed. She then kept talking and asked him on a date. She told him to get ready for her because it would be a “bummer,” and she backed out of it. After a while, she goes on a date with Shikamaru; to which he asks for the day off to be with her. In the novel, she is shown giving birth to her son, and together with her husband, they decide to name him after her.
Sai Yamanaka and Ino Yamanaka
Several years after the events of the Fourth Shinobi World War, Sai married Ino, and they had a son they named Inojin. Despite Sai vowing to help his wife train Inojin, Chōchō, and Shikadai to become the new generation of the Ino-Shika-Chō Formation, the young shinobi did not show up at the meeting point. After a while, he was seen practicing with his son Inojin Yamanaka Super Beast Image Imitation technique. He meets Naruto Uzumaki and tells him that he looks a bit immature when he is using shadow clones with his son. He replies focus on your own and don’t bother. His son surprises him with slightly different art and scolds him, but he calls it old-fashioned.
Chōji Akimichi and Karui Akimichi
After marrying Chōji and relocating to Konoha a few years later, Karui gave birth to a daughter they named Chōchō. She, Ino, Sai, and her husband Chōji got together on the day of the Kage meeting to assist their kids in developing their Ino-Shika-Chō Formation. Karui stated outright while they were waiting that she did not comprehend the need to teach them such tactics if there was peace on earth. Karui went to a restaurant with her family for lunch the week before her daughter’s graduation. Chōchō lamented about how much her father was being consumed, but Karui didn’t seem to mind.
Karui and Temari talked as they cleaned up after Chōji prepared a supper to commemorate Chōchō and her classmates’ Academy graduation. Karui was disappointed to learn that Chōji had consumed all of the food she had purchased for breakfast the morning of Father and Son Day, so she went out to purchase more the previous evening. The following day, Karui went to watch her husband and daughter compete in Konoha’s annual eating contest. She went to Chōji before the third round, anxious about her health, and begged him to quit being such a glutton and start eating vegetables.
As part of a strategy by the owner of Ankorod to stop Chōji from winning the tournament, she later attempted to rescue Chōchō when she became stuck in some expanding dumplings, but she soon became trapped herself. Thankfully, Chōjiarrived to help them, devouring all the dumplings and entering Butterfly Mode to transform the accumulated fat into chakra. The contest winners then demanded that she go out with them, and she and her family took their picture.
Kiba Inuzuka and Tamaki
After her first encounter with Kiba Inuzuka in Konohagakure, Tamaki and Kiba find themselves attracted to each other, despite Akamaru’s interference. Tamaki meets Kiba, Akamaru, and Shino Aburame in Sora-ku, while the leaf ninjas are looking to find the Beekeeper, which leads her to spread the word about the issue with her Ninneko, her Momo. Due to Kiba’s attraction to her, and while Tamaki happily leads them to where the Beekeeper is, the Inuzuka tries to win her affection through white lies and convenient truths.
As they come to the location, Tamaki warns them that no one leaves the bamboo forest filled with mist. Once inside, Kiba bragged about his superior skills to ease his worry. Years passed after the Fourth Shinobi World War ended, and Tamaki began living with Kiba, where they both had a large number of cats and dogs. One day, Kiba was telling Tamaki that the Seventh Hokage would come out on his own and that people say that a wise hawk hides its claws. Still, in his case, a wise ninja hides his fangs by asking of an old Akamaru who was on the floor and let out a brief complaint which irritated Kiba and made Tamaki laugh. They are technically not married but are a couple in the story.
