How Strong Is Tek Knight? Compared to Other ‘The Boys’ & ‘Gen V’ Characters

Over the years, ‘The Boys’ series has introduced some really weird characters, and now ‘Gen V’ is here to continue the tradition. Tek Knight has been mentioned in ‘The Boys’, but it wasn’t until ‘Gen V’ episode 4 that he was properly introduced to this live-action universe. Fans of the comics know that he is basically a parody of Iron Man and Batman, but in the show, he was shown in a different light. We’ve seen his impressive deduction abilities, and we know that he is a supe. This begs the question, how strong is Tek Knight? Especially when compared to other ‘The Boys’ and ‘Gen V’ characters. 

Tek Knight has superhuman deduction and sense, but the rest is a mystery 

Now, before you get into reading this, take into account that we’re not going to analyze the comic version of Tek but rather his live-action version that debuted in episode 4 of ‘Gen V.’Tek appeared on the campus of Godolkin University to sniff out the truth about what happened to Golden Boy, who committed suicide tragically due to yet undiscovered mental disturbance. 

And when I say he came to sniff out the truth, I mean that quite literally. Tek Knight is like a crossbreed between a superhuman detective and a bloodhound. He has superhuman deduction and superhuman smell, hearing, and eyesight. He could detect Dean Shetty’s sweat and ovulation without using any medical instruments whatsoever based on his senses alone. This is how he knew that Sam escaped from the Woods.

He also noticed a change in the heartbeat when Marie and Andre lied to him, and he could smell Cate’s bodily fluids on Andre, and he knew that they had sex based on that alone. His eyesight is also super accurate. He can detect even the smallest shift in the size of the pupil, which is another telltale sign that someone is lying. But this was all kind of obvious. The thing that interests us is the question of superhuman strength. 

We know that Tek Knight is classified as supe since he attempted to insult Dean Shetty by calling her “only human.” And even though most supes do have, to some extent, superhuman durability, strength, and speed, they wouldn’t be able to handle their own powers otherwise. We also know that he treated Cate to tear her arm off, but we haven’t seen any proof that he actually has superhuman strength. 

Andre also attempted to insult him by saying that he “never made it as a supe,” which could be due to his lack of actual physical powers. In any case, if Tek does have superhuman strength, he would utilize it more often, and he certainly wouldn’t be blackmailed the way he was if he could do something about it quickly and efficiently. So, how strong is Tek Knight when compared to other ‘The Boys’ & ‘Gen V’ characters? 

Is Tek Knight stronger than Homelander? 

Homelander is the gold standard for superhuman strength in ‘The Boys’. He is the strongest being on Earth, capable of wrecking steel, concrete, and human bones with minimally applied pressure. The probability of Tek Knight being stronger or more powerful than Homelander is simply laughable. But I do have to admit that Homelander’s strength, paired with Tek Knight’s superhuman deduction skills, would probably make him a top-ranking hero in the world. 

How strong is Tek Knight compared to Queen Maeve? 

Queen Maeve is the second strongest member of the Seven. She started her supe career really young when she managed to stop the bus from falling off the bridge with nothing but her raw strength, it did break her arm, but she did it. Based on everything we’ve seen so far, Queen Maeve is much stronger than Tek Knight. 

Is Tek Knight stronger than Soldier Boy? 

Soldier Boy was the strongest being on earth before his son, Homelander, came along. He is still vastly powerful and strong, but since he is out of the picture now, people don’t see him as a threat all that much nowadays, but the fact that he is second still remains. We’ve seen Soldier Boy do some incredible things. Meanwhile, we’ve witnessed absolutely zero physical dominance from Tek Knight. Tek Knight is much weaker than Soldier Boy. 

How strong is Tek Knight compared to Emma / Little Cricket

Episode 4 of ‘Gen V’ also revealed that Emma, like Ant-Man can shift into her Giant form, which makes her vastly stronger than her usual self. The bigger Emma becomes, the more her strength amplifies, and considering that at this point, she was able to overpower Sam, Golden Boy’s brother, we are safe to say that Little Cricket is stronger than Tek Knight.

Is Tek Knight stronger than Sam? 

We’ve seen Sam denting concrete, stool, and granite kitchen furniture. We’ve also heard from Dean Shetty herself that Sam is far too dangerous to be visited, and considering that she had to warn Tek Knight about it, and he agreed for a time, it means that Tek Knight was aware that he was much weaker than Sam. To be honest, considering that it takes a lot of effort to subdue Sam, it seems like he is currently the strongest character in the series. 

Tek Knight is inferior to Jordan Li 

If Golden Boy and Sam so far proved to be the gold standard of ‘Gen V’ in terms of strength so far, but the third place honestly goes to Jordan Li. Jordan Li has both impressive physical strength and speed, but depending on the form that they are in, they can also emit energy blasts, which makes them a natural first choice to get involved when any of the Riordan brothers need subduing. No matter what Tek is saying and what kind of mind games he is playing, he is far weaker than Jordan Li.
