Jujutsu Kaisen: All 6 Blood Manipulation Users Ranked From Least To Most Powerful (Confirmed & Probable)

Blood Manipulation is a famous and powerful technique from the Jujutsu Kaisen lore. It is actually a set of combat techniques that charge the blood with cursed energy. With Blood Manipulation, the user can use their blood and objects imbued with it. But manipulating your blood is not just about shaping or directing it. It can also monitor your body temperature, pulse, red blood cell count, and everything else. The user can thus manipulate his blood inside and outside his body. It is an exceptionally practical technique and can deal massive damage if its user is able to use it skillfully.

Although not common, this technique has been used by two characters in the series so far. One of them is Noritoshi Kamo (the younger), and the other is Choso. But are they the only ones? In this article, we are going to bring you a list of all Blood Manipulation users, both known and probable, ranking them based on how powerful they are.

How many Blood Manipulation users are there?

Before we actually list these characters, we have to explain something. Namely, as far as the series is concerned, there are only two officially known users of Blood Manipulation in the series – Choso and Noritoshi Kamo. Kenjaku, while he was in possession of the original Noritoshi Kamo’s body, could also probably use it, but it has not been confirmed. This means that the list is probably larger, which is why we decided to expand it.

Knowing that Blood Manipulation is a technique related to the Kamo Clan (which is how Choso got it, actually), we have decided to expand the list with some probable names – all members of the Kamo clan – and give you a list of the confirmed and probably users of Blood Manipulation. As stated, some of these names are not confirmed Blood Manipulation users, and we are going to show them in this article so you won’t be confused. This is what we wanted to say; now, let us see the list.

6. Shino Kamo (probable)

Shino Kamo is a relatively unknown character and a lesser-known member of the Kamo clan. It is unknown how he relates to the main lineage, but he is an elderly man who is part of the clan. Kenjaku manipulated him into thinking he had lived in the world 150 years before the present timeline. While he doesn’t seem malevolent, he is a victim of Kenjaku’s manipulation and is thus not useful for the heroes.

It is unknown whether he could use Blood Manipulation, but as a member of the Kamo family, there is a high probability that he could. But, seeing how he is old and suspectable to manipulation, we believe that he wasn’t that strong, which is why we actually decided to put him on the last place of this list. There is nothing else that we can tell you about this character.

5. Noritoshi Kamo’s (younger) father (probable)

This unnamed character was the 24th head of the Kamo family and the father of Noritoshi Kamo (younger). Like Shino, not much is known about him, and while we do know that he was a high-ranking member of the clan, no details have been revealed. Kamo (younger) doesn’t seem to dislike him, so we can assume that he wasn’t a bad guy and that he was a positive figure. While he did lead the Kamo clan, he was secretly disposed of by Kenjaku and killed, as the latter took over the clan personally.

Regarding his skills and abilities, we also think that he could’ve used Blood Manipulation, seeing how he is Noritoshi’s (younger) father, although this has not been confirmed in the series. Since he is deceased and was old at the time of his death, we assume that he wasn’t as strong as the other characters on this list, but he was probably more skilled than Shino regarding his overall capabilities. This is, as we have said, all that we have on this character.

4. Noritoshi Kamo (younger)

Finally, a character we know more about. Noritoshi Kamo (younger) is the son of the 24th leader of the Kamo clan, who was supposed to take his father’s place, but since Kenjaku disposed of his father and took over the clan, Noritoshi (younger) never became the leader; although, now that Kenjaku is probably dead, he might take over soon, if he decides to return to the clan. He is a student in Kyoto and is good friends with his classmates, although he does have a somewhat dark personality. He is loyal to his friends but also knows how to ally himself with the Tokyo students in the face of a common enemy.

Noritoshi Kamo (younger) is the first confirmed Blood Manipulation user on this list. He has used this technique more than once, but we first saw it during the Goodwill Event when he fought Megumi and his Shikigamni with this technique. He is quite skilled with it, and since he is a weapons master, he is able to combine the latter skills with this technique to create powerful attacks. He knows several techniques, and we think that he was better than some of his ancestors, but he still has a lot to learn and will probably become even better in the future.

3. Noritoshi Kamo (older, probable)

This guy is special. Noritoshi Kamo (older) is known as the worst jujutsu sorcerer in history. He was not just powerful and evil; he was a sadist who experimented with cursed energy and inflicted severe pain on others, like the mother of Choso and his siblings, whom he tortured into giving birth to them. Of course, part of it was also Kenjaku, so there is a very fine line between the two of them, but he is nevertheless a true monster, and people loathe him for a reason.

As far as his skills and abilities are concerned, we know that he was powerful and skilled, but the exact level is unknown. We assume he was quite powerful based on how notorious he was as a character. As a member of the Kamo clan, he was probably able to use Blood Manipulation, but since we don’t know it officially, we have listed him as a probable user on this list. Still, based on what we assume his level of power was, we definitely think that he was one of the stronger characters on this list, which is why we have placed him as we did.

2. Choso

Choso started off as a villain in the series and was an ally of Mahito and Kenjaku; he had two living siblings, both of whom were killed by Yuji and Nobara. This is why he wanted to kill Yuji and got the chance to do so in Shibuya; he did defeat him, but after having some visions, he spared his life and soon realized that Yuji was his brother. This is because Kenjaku participated in their births (via Kamo and Kaori Itadori), so the two of them are technically related. Since then, he has been aligned with the heroes.

Choso is an S-Grade Cursed Spirit and is a powerful character. He is not the strongest cursed spirit in the series, but he is exceptionally powerful and is a threat without a doubt. He is the second confirmed Blood Manipulation user on this list, and the versatility of his techniques, combined with his overall level of power, makes Choso a character worthy of second place on this list. He can also use a lot of other techniques and spells, which further adds to the fact that he is exceptionally powerful and confirms that we’ve made the right choice by placing him so high.

1. Kenjaku (probable)

Kenjaku is probably the best-known name on this list. Alongside Sukuna, he is the principal villain of Jujutsu Kaisen whose machinations have resulted in many tragic events since the beginning of the story. His current status is unknown, but he is by all means dead, as Yuta Okkotsu has decapitated him during the Shinjuku Showdown Arc.

Kenjaku is by far the strongest character on this list, regardless of whether he can use Blood Manipulation. Seeing how he had contact with the Kamo clan and was even Noritoshi Kamo (older) for a while, there is a high probability that he could use this technique, although this has not been confirmed in the series so far. Based on that and his other skills and abilities, we are certain that he deserves the first spot on this list, which is why we have placed him here.
