Resident Evil

Resident Evil is a Japanese horror media franchise created by Shinji Mikami and Tokuro Fujiwara based on the original horror game Resident Evil released in 1996. Resident Evil has developed into one of the most successful media franchises in the world and so far consists of video games, live-action movies, animated movies, tv series, comic books, novels, audio dramas, and other media as well as merchandise. The Resident Evil franchise revolves around a group of people waging war against the Umbrella Corporation.
