Blade

Blade is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics created by Marv Wolfman and Gene Colan. Blade’s first appearance was in the comic book the Tomb of Dracula in 1973.  Since the creation of the character, Blade was dedicated to ridding the world of vampires using his unique immunity to vampire bites. The character was ultimately changed to being a dhampir, a hybrid between and human and a vampire. Blade was featured in various media such as movies and video games.

Blade (Film Series)

Blade movie franchise traces its beginnings to the 1998 American superhero horror film directed by Stephen Norrington and written by David S. Goyer. The original movie led to the two sequels Blade II (2002) and Blade Trinity (2004) as well as a spinoff television series. The reboot of the original movie set in MCU starring Mahershala Ali as Blade has been announced as well.
