Luka Glavas is a professional writer for Fiction Horizon from Osijek, Croatia. He studied and got a degree in Media Culture at the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek, Croatia, specializing in creative writing, journalism, and filmmaking. Luka’s expertise lies in all branches of media, but mostly in cinematography. He got his degree on the subject of Quentin Tarantino's work in light of the quotation theory. Before getting into professional writing, Luka wrote short stories and several screenplays but started his career as a journalist for several prominent Croatian sports websites. His love for cinematography blossomed even more after working as a student in a five-star movie theater in Osijek. Luka’s biggest passions are psychological thrillers, horrors, and mysteries, as well as true crime documentaries and adaptations. He’s an avid reader, with Stephen King and J.R.R. Tolkien being Luka’s favorite writers. However, since he was a child, Luka loves fantasy, including everything related to Marvel & Dc, as well as Star Wars, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones (& other George R.R. Martin work), and J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of The Rings. Luka likes to put his personality into his texts, not shying away from including his opinions and passions supported by facts and trusted sources.
